Airtel company is not a trusted company verfication of customer id is by airtel company by just one phone if custmer is not available then cutoff the phone

Well, this has been more than 36 hours since Airtel had a fire in their Lower parel center. In the newspapers they say that they have restored services, yet there are so many people who are unable to make any calls. I have 3 Airtel connections and none of them are able to make any calls. The Customer care is the worst, simply trying to give 'golis' and not solve any issues. They seem to come only for the sake of money and are the least interested in solving customer complaints. I had talked to them yesterday and the said services would be restored by 2200 hrs. After that the said it would be by 0600 hours and finally when I called at 1000 hrs, their reply was that services would be restored within half an hour. It has been more than 8 hours and I am still in the same crises. I am still unable to contact customer care.

It is very shameful on Airtel's part to have no disaster management system and that too in a prime city like mumbai.

I didnt made a request or a call to activate my cricket plan in airtel. But they charged and charging Rs.50 for every ODI's and Test Cricket. I dont know why they are repeating this kind of things and cheating the customers. My balance goes and deducted a minimum of Rs.100 for india Vs Australia ODI series and India Vs Pakistan ODI series which i didnt put a request to airtel. And my final request is dont cheat the customer once for all. Call and ask them if they are really want to have this kind of request. With out calling and just simply putting a message to the customer, dont deduct the amount. It simply like cheating the customer...

My mobile no is [protected] on Prepaid servise.
I am using this connection for abt past 3 years... Now when I make a call for a local Reliance no : [protected] on 25th of April, 2008 on Time :9.24 am it have to get charged as .49 paise.. Instead of it get charged as Rs.9.20 ps / minute for which i gave a missed call for that no.. I make 2 missed calls for that no... Hence nearly of Rs.18.40 get deducted from my account At that time the call charges taken as Rs.9.20 ps/ min ... When i make a call to C.Care regarding this issue... they tell me that it charges as like that due to addition of 00 (double zero)in front of the no. It is a no which get stored on my mobile for the past 3 months... Ever before call charges had not get deducted as like this... I interact with Mr.Srinivasan on Customercare... The reference no for my interaction is [protected]... So it is not a problem on my mobile & Called no .. Its all of them are due to Network issues... I ask the C.C.Agent Mr.Srinivasan to register a complaint regarding this... But he refuses to do that & Hence i like to Register a complaint thr E-Mail... I also get the Customercare E-mail id thr Airtel C.Care Agent Mr.Prakash thr Call to Customercare .. His reference no on Customercare call is [protected] on 04/may/2008 on Time : 1.54pm on my mobile... Hence my Money Rs.18.20 ps have to get return back from my account... Other then I will send a E-mail to TRAI a copy for furthur actions... I think that you would not make me to so like this regarding this issue...

Dear Sir,

This is to inform you that the above mentioned line has been inactive since last Sunday dated 3rd April 2011 without any prior information. It is a post paid connection and for your kind information there is no due till date.
My father has also a separate connection no:[protected] which shows a due.But his address and my address are totally different and I have no connection with that address.I am not related in any way to this due amount, yet my connection has been suspended.
I therefore request you please take suitable steps and activate my line as soon as possible.

I dont know whats going on at Airtel. I had given written request for broadband disconnection at Airtel noida office on 7th Mar 2007 ( 3 months back ), but they never disconnect my number.

Every time i requested and remind them, they changed my request from disconnection to transfer case. I am getting bills in thousands without using connection. I thinks nobody is able to hear in Airtel.

Customer Care in Airtel is hell as they every time just listen to you then never follow till ur next call, on ext call they will give u a reference number, this time i have 5 reference number, but still waiting for disconnection.

I am Air tel user since last three year but not i am not satisfy of your service because you activated the schemes without my any kind of instruction and you deduacte my amount from my balance and when i call in customer care they don't pick my phone. and very hardly if they pick my phone they don't accept their mistake. I am very upset from this task. I don't have lots of money to pay this unwanted scheme. I have talked with your supervisor Mohit but he did not take any kind of action of my complaint infect he blamed on me that you activated scheme. I think i have to change my connection for your poor service. i am very upset for your poor service. please request from me take acction of my complaint.

I would like to bring in your notice of illegally debiting money a sum of Rs. 30/- from my prepaid number by sending message for the services that I haven’t used from the phone. I received two messages from num [protected] from airtel your subscription to the on demand service has been renewed (30 Rs, 30 days, 30 Mins free), one on 26.7.2008 and another on 24.8.2008. This has resulted me in the loss of 60/-. Airtel for money, i thing they start cheating the innocent customer.

i was not able to pay my bill o time .one day my borther called your helpline and want to activate the same .
as he was promising to pay tomorrow .customer care executive said there are special instructions on my number that
my number will not get activation on Promise to pay .my bro get angry and he said than disconnect num.
executive even not think abt this and in revert he said to my bro that he would be getting SR of disconnection .he was

shocked with kind of behaviour and attitude of airtel.
friday i came back and i received call from retention .
the lady said to me that she is from retention process ...
i told to her give me call bac after half an hour ...
she said Ok and after 1 hr she gave me two miss call .my phone was in my hand even i was nt able to pick call .
that was very short mis call .after 3 attempts she forwarded my num to disconnect.
i want to show this is the work airtel is doing .
let me know whether i am thief kind of person .
what you guys think i ''ll remain keep quite .
i want my activation of num asap.otherwise i will be escalating this to consumer court and even i ''ll show to press also

From 555630 sms are transmitted to prepaid mobile connections unauthorizedly. It is surprising that Airtel is associated with such money-looters.

Even Airtel's responses are dubious. They give assurance and meanwhile let the marketing company continue with their business of looting prepaid money.
People like me hate such sms, bollywood celebrities and their stupid faces. Then somebody from Airtelpresence calls u and mechanically assures u to resolve the issue and everytime asks the person to give details of sms received. I understand hundres of airtel prepaid mobile holders are complaining but do not know what to do. Poor people. Airtel must stop such business direct or indirect. Its a reputable company...!

I have had an airtel postpaid connection no. [protected] for more than 4 months. As i was out of station for sometime, i was not able to pay the bill for the month of november on time. when airtel contaced me i told them that i am in roaming, i.e. out of town and will pay the bill within 3days atmost. they verified if i was on roaming and said that they will wait for me to pay the bill and assured me that my service will not be deffered for the next 3 days. but on the same evening my outgoing was barred. I did not mind it as i knew it was happening due to non-payment of bill. but the next day i.e. on 20-12-2006 my incoming was also barred at 1:30AM, i.e. the middle of night, thhough i had come back to the home network and my incoming was free! i contacted airtel customer care from my friends mobile and was told that my services would resume immediately. but my services were not resumed. I then refuesed to pay my bill as they were not listening to me. a few days later an executive of theirs came to my house. I told him of the issue and he assured me that he will get in touch with his seniors and would make sure that i get a satisfactory compensation. I waited for his reply, eagerly. then on 31-01-2007, i got a call from a Mr. Sheikh Oberoi, who claimed to be a lawyer from Airtels Legal cell. He told me that Summons had been issued for me for court case at 2pm the same day. i aurgued that i was told to wait for further talks by your airtel executives and had not even recieved any legal notice what so ever. I asked him that whether he would drop the matter if i paid my bill and he said i had only 2 days. Hence i was FORCED to pay the bill. when i paid the bill i was told that i had a rent for the month of January. i told them that the connection had been closed since 20-12-2006, then what is the meaning of rent? i was not given any answer. I told them that please disonnect this connection as i do not want this connection anymore, but they tried to puzzle me with round talks.

My messages are not sent from my airtel number since last night and when today in the morning I tried to call customer care several times, the call gets cut at the moment when the computerized voice says the call is bring transfered to customer care executive. This is annoying and moreover it said I have exceeded the number of trial to the customer care. to connect to call somebody I have to dial at least 5 times before its connected. why do they have customer care service if they are not willing to serve people?

I am using AIRTEL prepaid connection. I have internet package balance and SMS pack as well. When I am sending messages from SMS pack, main balance is not supposed to be reduced. Every day I charge and immediately my charged amount is being coming to zero when I am using the SMS services. I do not have any other services active.
First of all, getting the customer care executive online is a tough job on AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE which is worst in the country. With most difficulty, I could catch them after my continuous trails of 2 hrs and she admitted that and my main balance is getting deducted even without using calls. As she can't do, call was transfered to her supervisor and for the next 20 min he did not come online. Then I had to cut the call.
This is one type of cheating and AIRTEL has started a bad practice of looting people. If any AIRTEL executive can verify my complaint of ( [protected]) fom Hyderabad.
I would be grateful if any one can solve this issue as I am unable to reach to AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE NUMBER

have just bought a new prepaid Airtel connection (my complaint no: [protected]). I wanted to Deactivate the sms offer so call to airtel customer care on 18th june they toled that sir i forwarded, it will be deactivated on 24th june, after 24th june i call to airtel customer care ask about that sorry sir still it is not resolve ur complaint once again i forwarded it will be deactivated on 26th, onece again same story.. continueing again i call airtel custome care and spok one customer executive Lokesh, he toled me that same story once again im forwaded ur complaint it will be deactivated on 30th june if not deactivated u can spoke with my manager, again i called to customer care and i spok with santhosh.. again he is telling i forwarded ur complaint it will be deactivated on 1st july.. on this way u can see how the airtel customer care responding the people...

Moral of the story: Don't trust Airtel. Don't buy Airtel. If you can't afford Hutch, go without a phone. Hire a messenger to send your messages. Above all, don't call customer care and waste your time. Buy some other card. Even an out-of-state on roam SIM.

I am custmer of airtel .I support this company by many connection to connect the aitel. at the time of thia company had gave to promise no clip charge in bill, but nearly today bill is charge the clip charge . so many complaint make on cc but not response . ons side many tipe of free and reduction offer give by company and other side charge the amount after free policy.
some call came from company and message remeting to custmer for scheme without the request . custmer not primium no. and company charge primium no . this totaly fraud .
that complaint sent to copany till not soultoin I am not pay the bill amount till not clear this matter ,if disconnect thisline I am not responsible and loss are cover by this company

Sub: Payment not credited – Service deactivated – Reg.

A sum of Rs. 938/= collected by your Agent under receipt SBIO CH [protected] on 9.3.11 has not been credited to our account despite several reminders at your office in Anna Nagar.

This has resulted in overdue appearing in every of our subsequent bills with overdue charges. Enough representations were done . We were told to remit that months due with assurance that effect would be made in the next bill. This has not happened. With irony we mention that our line now has been deactivated.

No action taken even after 10 days after writing to nodal office at St. Thomas mount and Anna nagar office expresses its inability to do any thing in this matter.

This is how airtel want to be a MNC if it can't acknowledge the greivance letter of a customer.

Hi this is keshav kumar from chennai from 4th jan 2011 onwards iam not getting proper speed .. before i get 1 mbps only but i call to customer care and ask about my plan they said u get 2 mbps from august onwards 2010 but upto now i didnt get certain speed on 6th jan they solve it and i get 2mbps but now i get only 512 kbps from 8th jan onwards and i gave complaint on 9th jan they told solve it on 10th but now they told that u r using 512 only now i gave complaint they are saying we will solve in three days... pls help me to solve it quickly and one more thing is customer care was not give reply properly.. pls pls help me .if i didnt get proper reply iam going to disconnect my connection and no more payments am going to pay ... This with reference to my prepaid connection [protected] is Airtel Mobile number. I have already contacted at your customer care no. 198 for the resolution of my complaint of unauthoriosed deduction of balance for unused and undownloaded services but same was not resolve till date and approx 297/- Rs is deducted from my balance.
During n8 nokia mobile purchase i got a offer of 2gb free browsing for the number i am going to put initially so i activated in this number but latter period of time balance start dedudcted by services like games club .com mercury .com tadka.com etc etc which i have not downloaded.
I am highly dissapionted from your service and planning to de activate this nouber in case no action is been taken from your side.MY CONTACT NUMBER IS [protected]
I Request you to kindly solve this issue and return my balance .

I started getting charged (Rs 30 per month each) for 2 unwanted Value Added Services I had never subscribed to - (1)Airtel Talkies and (2)Celeb Gossip. With every unwanted SMS there was a number which I can call and "unsubscribe" (510100). On calling (for a week straight) they just kept on saying "This service is currently not available" charging Rs.2 for every call.

After that I decided to call customer care. The executive sounded irritated of having to take my call (though I'm paying 60p/min for this), stopped *ALL* my VAS's (including the one I had already paid for) and hung up rudely.

This is direct thuggery...what do they take the consumers for? I've switched over to another network, and have been able to persuade my office to not entertain call from airtel vendors (for 'official' connections) in the future (we've moved to Idea. I'm using vodafone for my personal collection now). I hope they rise up and take notice after the loss of 3000 high ARPU (>Rs.1, 000 pm each) customers; wish this was US so I could sue their as* off for this, but at least something happened...I urge you guys to act on similar lines in response to this...this is the only way to fight such corporate hooligans.

I had taken a prepaid connection of Airtel in Februrary, 2004 with the number [protected]. I got the same recharged from time to time. In January, 2006 I got the same converted in a Post Paid connection while retaining the same number. At the time of shifting from prepaid to postpaid as stated above, I had an unexpired balance of more than Rs. 3000/- standing in credit of my prepaid account. Airtel people had agreed to carry forward the same to the credit of my postpaid account to be adjusted against my future bills. I had since than following the matter with Airtel people for crediting of my balance to my account in my postpaid account. They have kept the matter pending for more than four months with the assurance that my said balance shall appear in my next bill. This practice continued for more than four months. Now suddenly they have told me than there was no balance in my account which they have earlier acknowledged on phone. They have thus cheated me.

I have a mobile connection of Airtel. My number is [protected], I have taken a voice plan of Rs 200 with 400 GPRS Plan, I generally use this connection for the internet but few days before on 26-Aug-09 .I was surfing net on my laptop in the night suddenly I received a message from the 54321 regarding Thanks for downloading video from Airtel you have been charged Rs.15 at 1:00 am and again I received on more message from 54321 regarding Thanks for downloading Java game from Airtel, you have been charged Rs.99 at 1:01 am.

I have logged the complaint regarding this to the customer care of Airtel 121 that I have not downloaded any game and video from the Airtel Live, as they told me. Why I have been charged for this, they logged the complaint bearing complaint no [protected], they told me that they will get back to you on 28th Aug at 1000 hours. But I haven’t received any call from their side regarding my complaint. And they made a bill of Rs 1055/- for the month of Aug-Sep. Once I called up customer care regarding my complaint on
7-Sep-09, what Is the status of my complaint they told me that you have downloaded and you have to pay for this.

But sir I haven’t downloaded any game and video from the Airtel Live. Plz give me solution what should I do for this.

Dear Sir,

During my stayed in Mumbai i taken a lifetime Airtel connection Mobile No. [protected] and the connection was running smoothly while in roaming. I settled in Kolkata and i use the same connection in roaming and used to recharge from Kolkata itself. Suddenly from last one month my number stop working. I thought may be Airtel stop the connection due to verification purpose because I'm not in Mumbai.

Suddenly yesterday 28.7.09 i just gave a call on my Mumbai mobile [protected] and its start ringing. I heard a lady voice and I asked her how she got this number and I'm calling from Kolkata. she said she got from Airtel.

I request the Airtel company if you disconnected my number [protected] and issue the same to the person whom I spoke. But please let me know through mail that this number is no more belong to me.

I am Joseph, a software professional working with Merrill Lynch india Technology Services, Chennai. I have taken an Airtel prepaid connection(No: [protected]) on feb 15, 2008 from a mobile store, choolaimedu, Chennai. I had submitted address proof(election ID card) and one photo for activating connection. I got it activated on the same day. Feb 18th I left to mumbai for an official visit for 5 weeks. After 2 weeks I received a call from airtel that there is some mismatch in address proof and I have to resubmit the proof otherwise my connection would get deactivated. I asked them 3 weeks time as I was in mumbai, and they accepted my request. Things are fine up to this point and the second part of the story begins here..

One morning(20th Mar) suddently my sim card got deactivated without any intimation. I reached back at Chennai on 24th and I resubmitted address proof and photo at spenzer plaza airtel office on the same day. The guy who collected these details at spenzer office told number will get activated within 48 hours. After 2 days I couldnt see my number activated. I called customer care, and they told processing time is 72 hours! OK.. I decided to wait for another one day. Next day morning my friend called customer care, this time they were telling the sim would be activated before 10th April..!. Evening again i called them and one customer service guy told they have received all details and he will be activating this number in the next 3-4 hours.. And he told he will give me a call to my friends mobile. We waited for his call but nobody called.. He was telling he received all proofs..and I dnt knw what the hell he is doing there.. This is the worst customer care i ve ever seen.

Airtel Mobile company is providing cheap & new schemes daily.
Do you know how is it doing so ? What is the secret?
One more question.
Do you know how many Value Added Services(VAS) are fixed on your mobile number by mobile company without your consent ?
Airtel Mobile company is fixing/applying unwanted VAS on your mobiles & you may or may not know.
This is one of the secrets of above question.
Many customers including senior citizens visit my shop daily to get their mobile recharged. They have been complaining always about deductions by the mobile companies. Among all of these I found a customer (Age 70 Years) of Airtel on whose mobile Airtel Company has applied a record number of SIX VAS such as Facts 55382, Job Alerts, Airtel Call Manager, Karwa Chauth Pack, Kareena Kapoor, All Cricket Pack.
Airtel company has been deducting a huge amount from his credit balance every month mercilessly. ( For proof I have images of his screen)
*Suppose for example you or any of your friend/known have an Airtel mobile connection.
You can check it like this.
1. Send ' STOP' to 121
(HAVE YOU SENT)...OKAY
You will get back a message like this if their is a VAS on you mobile.
"The following services are active on your mobile. To reply type the serial number of the service that you wish to 'STOP' "
1...
2...
3...
4...
5...
6...& so on

You can know from above message that how many VAS are applied on your mobile by the company. If you want to STOP these services then follow the steps.
REPLY '1'
You will get one more message from the company to confirm again.
REPLY '1'
Follow these steps untill you get a message that.
" Kindly note there are no services active on your Airtel number."
*After this send one more message to activate DND like this
'START space 0 to 1909'
You will get a message to confirm

3rd july 2011 near 12:45 they deduct money from my balance
when i call at 1:05 they cut the call
again calling they assure me that mistake will from their side but they can't refund money or proceed my complain
but i didn't receive any detail from their side of complain register
where is customer services?
is it the right way for airtel to earn money and increase profit?

I have been facing a lot of problems in making outgoing calls to my friends and relatives as well as incoming calls. My sons and daughter in law are unable to contact me many times as the phone is not reachable. My mobile no. is [protected]. I am a resident of mumbai, Goregaon west. Prior to this I was using BPL prepaid card and I had no problems whatsoever. I had selected airtel just because I wanted a post paid connection. I think i have made a big mistake by selecting airtel as a service provider. I don't know whom to contact so am posting this on the complaint board.

My father has a airtel prepaid connection on his name. He is a businessman and uses mobile only for making few personal calls. He never uses net on phone or never subscribed to hello tunes, MCA alert. He is being constantly disturbed by unwanted messages and calls from airtel for which i had already made a request of Do not Disturb. I also requested to unsubscribe all those services which my father never subscribed, but without any success, money is constantly deducted from our balance. Today morning i got a message of deduction of Rs. 99 for net-on-phone which we never subscribed. Our all efforts with customer care executives have been in vain, so i have decided to move to Consumer Court for which airtel will be going to face problems which i have been facing till now.

I want to convert my airtel postpaid connection to prepaid but airtel officer rejection this my approvel fron last month in 3 times, everytime they are giving me diffrent reaseon, 1st time they say you need to brin colour photograf of your driving licence, 2nd time they say we cant convert because this is your bill generation date and as per company rule we cant convert post to pre before and after 4 days of bill generation date, and 3rd time they say our company change rule before 2 days the new rule is no one can convere this post to pre in 6 months. this is time westing reason i am going to throw this airtel card dont trust on AIRTEL. this is 3rd class service.

I received a mail from Airtel, that i will be getting 30 free SMS for 3 months from effective 5 May2007 which will reflect in my next invoice dated 7 June 2007. When i received the bill there was no discount added to it, after calling to customer care they said that it will be effective from next month. Then he put me on hold to check & suddenly after 5 mins disconnected my call.

This is the kind of false promises AIRTEL gives it to his customers, highly unprofessional. I suggest HUTCH & IDEA are far better service providers.

My advice is to all you people not to take AIRTEL connection in future.

I booked for the airtel dsl connection sometime in augst airtel had to launch its services in dwarka form 10th sep and at the time of giving the deposit we were told that the account swould be activated between 10-17sep, today in 22nd and all i get from these guys is no positive response, u do expect such delays from measy cable operators but a big company such as airtel should not let these things happen, i seriously think there managment of affairs is not upto mark, i would not recemmend any of my friends in dwarka to go for airtel.

Hi guys,

Be happy that Airtel is going to close all their shops soon... by their service.

A person from Airtel came to my office at the end of March for address verification and he gave a call from my office. I informed him that this entire month (March), I would be in night shifts, so u can come at any time in April for that purpose. I was roaming in Tamilnadu from 01/04/07 to 06/04/07. But my number has been disconnected from 02/04/07 to 09/04/07 stating the reason that “Address verification was not completed”. I was unable to receive or make calls during this period). I registered a complaint from Tamilnadu to the customer care on 02/04/07. To resolve this complaint I had to struggle a lot even after coming to Bangalore.

After that my mobile services has been again disconnected on 24/04/07 stating the same reason that “Address verification was not completed”. The funniest part here is that I had received my current month’s bill to the billing address that is not verified and I had even paid that on 24/04/07. I contacted Mr. Pradeep from Customer care around 9PM on 24/04/07. He informed me that my services would be activated within 4 (four) hrs. He also fixed an appointment with me for address verification on 27/04/07 at 10 AM. As the problem continued I again contacted Priya from Customer care at 11:45 AM on 25/04/07. She also sang the same song that “Ur services would be activated within 15 minutes”. At that time I was wondering about their commitment. But they have proved that they would never follow ur words. Again I contacted Mr. Abdul from Customer care around 8 PM on 25/04/07 and he put me on hold for nearly 20 mins to re-connect to Manager. But that call was disconnected from their side.

Finally I came to conclusion that it is purely waste to speak by phone and I decided to meet the Manager, Customer relations at Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore. When I was entering I was given a token number 365. I was waiting for my turn. But my bad luck continues there also. The counter number was also bypassing from 358 to 369. When I enquired about this, he was responding that ur are not available while calling.

Finally I met Mr. Rinesh, Manager. He was listening to my complaints and informed that “ur service would be re-activated within 30 minutes”. As the problem was not resolved, I met him after 1 hour. He was casually telling that ur account has been deleted completely and it would be re-activated within a day. The worst part is that he asked me to adjust with the problem. Till now my service has not been restarted.

#2) I activated Hello tunes on 27/03/07. Within a month I had made 3 complaints for disruption of this service.

There was 0% commitment in their service from Manager to Executive and there was no mistake from my side at any instance. Im having all the necessary documents with me. If I did not get apology letter or compensation or refund from you, there is no other way instead of going to the Consumer Court.

If they are continuing with this type of service, very soon they will see ur end.

i am sudhakar mahajan using airtel simcard.my mobile no.[protected] have a complaint regarding the postpaid connection into prepaid. i had paid Rs 45+Rs 85 as necessary charges and update bill on 5/6/2009 to mr.Sachin Mor from airtel whose contact no is [protected].The agency receipt no.A1 1237262.was given to us after paying the payment.Almost after to months the connection has not been converted to prepaid.Hope u will oblige as early as possible.

I am Suraj Naik, Bangalore & my mobile No-[protected].This is my life time sim card.On 27/7/08 i recharged for Rs.33/- for 50 paise per call for 1 month. After a week 50 paise call tariff canceled without reason.Regarding that i made complaint on 9/8/08 to customer care services. And i got reply that within 12/8/08 at 12 am problem will solve. But after that also my problem not solved. Again i contact customer care.& they told that wait for again 4 days. I disappointed about worst service of AIRTEL customer care service at bangalore.

Customer Care & service is very poor in Airtel. I have following complaints from Airtel. They try to mint/rob money from customers in all the possible ways.

1. My number is [protected]. When my call gets over in 59 seconds airtel charges for two calls. They are extracting money from cusomters in whatever way they can.

2. As per my prepaid plan I can have one addon facility for one number and the number is [protected]. Inspite of deducting 20 paise per call they are deducting Rs.1.20 per call for the add on number. It is still continuing.

When I tried to contact customer care they don't give proper response. The customer service people are taught to tell only "sorry for the inconvenience, we will solve your problem". Except these words they do not tell us anything else, how much ever we ask them to solve our problem.

I have made repeated calls to customer care citing my problems without any result.

I THOUGHT airtel is BEST. I realized airtel is WORST.
I sent 6 mails to change my bill plan. Those bloody rascals didn't take any action. Again I called to customer care and raised two requests for the same issue. The day after tomorrow 2 guys from airtel called me and I told my problem. Those guys told that we will get back to you with in an hour. Stupid rascals didn't come back. Every month I am paying some thousand rupees to these irresponsible airtel. I am completely unsatisfied with this WORST airtel. And my number is [protected]

Couple of weeks back I took an Airtel instant postpaid connection But from then onwards I am facing thousand problems in the connections and millions of harassments. Within the last 10-12 days my outgoing was barred twice. This time I personally visited the Airtel service center in Andheri-Kurla Road Mumbai (in front of the CRISIL office). This was the place from where I took the connection. There was someone named Maria served me and every time I was asked to wait for some 4-6 hours to get the problem solved. I also contacted the service center ([protected]) few times. People simply were not interested in my problems. There were playing games. At the end nothing happened. So I walked down the service center and handed over my kit and the sim to them because they are of no use to me.

I m a regular airtel customer. In 8th april 2007 i had taken a new airtel sim for Rs.100 which offered me 2 years of validity and a talktime of Rs.50 on recharge of Rs.986. Since i am a student i immediately took the offer. I submitted the documents required immediately on that very day. it was working fine for a few days. On the 15th of april i had to leave for Assam for vacations. (North east does not have the facility of prepaid roaming). after i returned from my vacations i found that the sim was deactivated. when i contacted them they told me that they did receive the documents and so hey deactivated my sim. After repeated complaints and submission of my documents for the second time i was told to take a new sim card so that my previous account could be transferred to my new number. After i did this i was told that only my Rs.50 talktime would be transferred. Please help!

My wife uses my airtel connection.

Of late she has been receiving Love SMS messages from Airtel, without subscribing to it.
There seems to be no way to unsubscribe from it.

Airtel's 121 now doesn't have an option to speak to a tele-support executive.

I have been trying, and I only get the press 1 for marathi and 2 for english, etc. No option to get a tele-support executive.

I hope Airtel will not charge for these stupid SMS messages.

If someone knows an email id of number I can call to deactivate this service, please email me at dolphusp@yahoo.com

Dear sir,

My self Samir shah from Baroda gujarat.
I was purchased one prepaid sim card from Airtel retailer .
I was inserted in my cell on date 3th Nov.2010 at evening and it will run for 24 hrs.
Then out going and incomming is not supported by this card, also tower is not shown in my cell.
I was go to Airtel custmer centre, Alkapuri Baroda and contact to Mr. Hardic executive from Airtel.
He was asking me this no. is all ready located to some wear, then way Airtel given me same number.
Also he was regrate to issu new card.
Ulti mately i was purchased VODA Phone card.

This is realy ford by Airtel.
Pl. give me reply as earliest.
So other can not suffred.

I called up 198, the complaint number for airtel, and started speaking in Marathi.
The representative wanted me to speak in Hindi.
I requested him to speak in Marathi as it is the state language of Maharashtra.
He told me to call back and hung up on me.

This is utter disrespect towards the customer. I am thinking of disconnecting airtel and would never recommend anyone to buy a new airtel connection. I have been an airtel customer since 6 years and this is total disgrace.

I have raised some requests earlier also that:
1. I got a message that “Thanks for downloading game worth Rs 99”. I never downloaded a game and I never got any reference number s for that. Then I told that as I also use the internet for Rs 140/week. Please increase my credit limit. But it was never done.
2. Then my outgoings have been barred. Without getting my bill I have been told to pay Rs 1200 so that my outgoings can be restored. Now as I am trying to pay the bill through online website “Aitel.in” BUT the service is not available and following are the snapshots for the proof.
3. Now I am told by your customer care executives that I need to go personally to the nearest branch and make the payment in cash. As I am employed with a very highly reputed company and I have some critical project going on and then also I need to go outside to make the payment.
