Hi,
My name is Hartej Singh and I was expected to take a flight from Toronto to India on 8th December. I was travelling with my sister and our flight time was 7 pm EST We reached airport at 4:42 and checked in our bags at 5:30. The boarding started at 6:10 and after getting the message we started moving towards the gate.
Our security check cleared at 6:32 and when we reached the gate at 6:40, we were told our bags were already removed from the flight as we were late. Gate was open and we were at the front. While we were talking to the Air Canada staff, our name started being announced.
We were not let to board the flight and told to talk to our agent who booked the flight. We were then sent away and asked to go to the customer service desk and we were not attended at all.
Flight left at 7:17 but we were not at all addressed at any situation. After that, we were told to take our bags. However, when we went to reach the bags, the bags were not there. We had to struggle so much to get bags from Custom. It took us 4 hours to get the bags.
It is a clear care of harassment
Claimed loss: 3000 dollars Canadian - 2500 CAD for flight and 500 for the arrangement mades
Desired outcome: Refund
