Carrefour review: Beko dishwashing machine

Bought the machine. While buying, sales person stating that is is the easiest and the best and that this particular manufacturer actually manufactures dishwashers for Bosch etc in Turkey. Fell for it. bought it. Machine arrived and was installed by Carrefour. Basic demo given as to what each button/switch does. Tried to use the machine. Failed after 3 to 4 attempts as the machine just wont start the wash cycle. Chased Carrefour Customer Care for some resolution. Took them more than 10 days to acknowledge and send someone.

The person who came then informed us that to use the machine you have to do the following: (absolutely ridiculous, but read on):
1. Add 1 kg of washing salts to the machine in the slot provided
2. Add liquid washing soap in another slot and ensure that it is always filled
3. During each wash add the dish washing tablet.
Unless you do all this the machine wont start washing!

None of this was told to us either when we were buying or when the installation was taking place.
We have now been chasing Carrefour Customer Service through their WhatsApp chat and keep getting same answer...we are working on it and looking into it or awaiting report from "supplier".

The report came and it stated that during demo nothing was explained. One of their agents or managers called to explain this and was not sure if this can be taken back and refunded. Later on WhatsApp chats got to know that they are waiting for collection department to confirm pick up. This was 4 days ago.
Chased them again today,,. seems like we are back to square one as the agent chatted stating they they are waiting for supplier. Its now been more than 25 days of no resolution.
Biggest mistake of my life to buy this product and that too from Carrefour who claims to be the biggest and best in Customer Service in this part of the world.
