Complained logged on behalf of Donique Artman In June Cell C called on my cell [protected] and asked to speak to Donique with regards to her contract. I told them they must cancel the contract as she is emigrating next year. In July the debit order went off and she called the call centre from her cell [protected] herself and told them to cancel the contract. Then agent asked if she wants to upgrade and she will get a free phone and wanted to know what to do with the dongle number and she said cancel it. He said the will sent trough the cancelation and it will be effective the 21st of August. The monthly fee was R368 there was no mention of the fee going to R959. Who it their right mind will pay R959 for data when you can get an uncapped package for less then R500.
The amount has come back as upaid last month as Donique is not employed and is a full time student and only keeps enough for her debit order.
I want you to draw the calls and listen to the conversations as this will affect her credit record. IF your staff did not inform the client of the amount how do you expect her to be liable. She has not had a signal on her dongle since July. Please check when last it was used. We have not received any communication for Cell C other then them debiting her account.
I would like this resolved as soon as possible.. Please either email or call me as my daughter is in class full day. This is affecting her credit record and i have emailed Cell C on 18 Aug, 23 and again today but no reply [protected]@cellc.co.za; [protected]@cellc.co.za
Desired outcome: Account to be deleted and no funds to be taken off her account and her credit record not to bee affected because of CELL C's incompetent staff
