After almost 8 months of silence, Dr. James Ehrlich sent several e-mails threatening legal action instead of offering to resolve the problems I've explained. Of course, Dr. Ehrlich has no legal case because I talked about what happened and how badly they treated me! Dr. Ehrlich appears to follow this strategy: After his scanning center causes a patient pain and suffering, you and your staff blame the patient, then threaten to sue the patient for telling the truth about how they were treated!

His December e-mails included false claims and accusations against me, and more bragging about his scanning center (he's often been in PR mode). He also quoted a paragraph that supposedly came from an attorney in an attempt to bully me and the site owner. But that paragraph didn't seem very legally credible--it was vague and generic.

Are these accusations and threats based in legal reality? Are they truthful? Did he pay an attorney to research the case before threatening us? I'm confident the answer to these questions is NO! So it's more posturing from Dr. Ehrlich!

I asked Dr. Ehrlich to send a settlement proposal from an attorney (after a review of all the documents and e-mails), because I don't trust him to be fair or objective. Dr. Ehrlich responded with another fanciful argument about why he's still right (and I'm wrong), and said he wanted to do it without an attorney! Really? You're willing to sue me for telling the truth, where you would spend many thousands of dollars to file a losing case, but you don't want to have an attorney write a settlement proposal? How ridiculous can this get?

He wanted to do it all by phone! I've already talked to Dr. Ehrlich. I've heard his bragging, his blame, his contrived arguments, and all the rest! None of these approaches lead toward a solution! My doctor talked to him, and she told me he pressured her to take his side rather than mine! Do you know people who insist on winning an argument at your expense? Do you know people who blame you for problems they created in order to avoid accountability? You know, it's always someone's else's fault! That's been the approach Dr. Ehrlich's and his staff have used.

Dr. Ehrlich, whenever you want to trade places, let me know! It will be my turn to help you experience the humiliation and hell you and your staff have put me through! My turn to poke your insides as you lay helpless and exposed on the table with your head in the scanner! Then I'll blame and lecture you for causing the problems! You'll like that, I'm sure! You'll have internal bleeding and pain, but I'll dismiss your concerns and frustrations, instead telling you how great my scanning center is and what a great job my staff does! You'll suffer for months, but to put a public PR face on it, I'll post how compassionately I treated you, and how we only "irritated" a condition you already had. I don't need any actual proof, conjecture is good enough! I'm sure you'll appreciate my euphemistic term "irritated" when the tables are turned. Then, I will ignore you and these problems for many months, even as the staff denies you had any injuries! I'll call your postings "antics" when I threaten to sue you for speaking out and for wanting justice. I'll continue to boast about how great my centers are, and add some false accusations against you so I can knock you even more! I'll finish by listing lots of credentials at the bottom of my e-mail to display my power and superiority, even though it adds nothing helpful for solving the problem! Dr. James Ehrlich, let me know when you're ready to trade places!

In my last e-mail to Dr. Ehrlich, I restated my willingness to review a written settlement proposal. I also suggested that he probably wasn't ready to resolve it, because he still wanted to argue, and that he should wait until after the first of the year. It's been a month, and he has offered . . . NOTHING!

If you find the above posting (and the other postings here), a reflection of unprofessional behavior, please do not give these scanning centers your money unless your doctor requires that you go!
