I bought a motorola l6 on 4 may 06 and its under warranty. My charger stopped working and I went to my nearest motorola authorized center on jail road new delhi. They say they don't have the charger and I have to wait may be a week or more than that. Or I should try other centers which is far from my residence. I even asked them to give me a date after 10 days but they say they cant assure. They spend so much on advertising. Pls spend on customer service.

This is the worst service and equipment I have ever seen. I have had Tivo with DirecTV for over 5 years but wanted to switch to a "complete package deal" to save money. I switched to Time Warner for Phone, Internet, and Cable. What a mistake! The phone and internet are fine but the Motorola DVR equipment is a mess. I have been with TWC for 3 months and have had to replace the DVR 4 times. Each time, I get a supervisor which credits me ONE DAY to accommodate. I should be getting cable service for free at this point! Everyone I speak with has problems with the Motorola equipment stalling, skipping, freezing, etc. TWC now claims that it is a Motorola issue that they have known about since April, 09. "We are working on the problem"

Goodbye TWC.

Motorola has the POOREST after sale service support even for the handset which is under warranty period. The experience with motorola & its service centres is really pathetic and causing mental harassment and wastage of time.

Motorola is not even willing to replace the hadset knowing that its been already submitted four times to service centres but received back unrepaired.

In my opinion, this company should not be allowed to sell its products in the cities where it is not able to provide after sales support to customers.

The brief of my handset and its problem is given below:
Model: MOTOSLVR L9
IMEI No.: [protected]
Purchased From: SWITCH COMMUNICATION, 22, First Floor, Nehru Shopping Complex, Lawrence Road, Amritsar,
Invoice No.38, Dated May 05, 2008

First time given for Repair to UCOM Tech, Amritsar on Jan.05, 2009.Received back UNREPAIRED on Jan.20, 2009(after 15 days).

Second time again given for Repair to UCOM Tech, Amritsar on Jan.24, 2009.Received back UNREPAIRED on Feb.05, 2009(after 12 days).

Third time again given for Repair to UCOM Tech, Amritsar on Feb.12, 2009.Received back UNREPAIRED on Feb.25, 2009(after 14 days).

Fourth time again given for Repair to AHD Communications, Amritsar on Feb.26, 2009. Till date the device is with them and unable to tell its status.

For last SEVEN months i don't have the mobile phone and i have to purchase a new one so that my work do not suffer.

Now the whole matter is with the honourable District Consumer Court.

have purchased a Motorola Handset of model MotoRazr V8 which costs Rs 12, 200 from MObile store, vijaya comlpex, Jetty Road, Alappuzha Kerala - Ph [protected] on 2nd march 2009.the phone was a defective piece.
the following were the problems:
Blue tooth defective
fast discharge of battery
low voice erception at the receiver end.
there problems were raised at the mobile store the very next day. they refused to replace my phone and directed me to the motorola service centre. i took my phone set to REddington India Ltd, an authorised service centre for motorola phones on 9/3/2009.i had claimed a replacement. they informed me that handset replacement is possible only on the lodging on complaint within a week of purchase. i was on the 7th day of the purchase of the phone, n hence i was not eligible for the replacement.
i hereby attach the customer receipt from Reddington services n Mobile store for proof.
they retained the phone for 3 months before i could retrieve the phone from the Reddington Services.every time i try to reach their office through their landline it is either busy or not available. i made 3 visits to the centre after confiscating my phone for repair.
To my dissapointment i had found on receiving the phone that it has been unscrupulously misused. the memory card which is in-built in the phone had been stored with songs n pictures, somebody had been using my phone as his personal equipment with his personal folders created and a large number of photographs taken.
I has lodged a complaint against the service centre to motorola and their response wasnt very satisfying.
kindly bring me justice, and have my phone replaced or my money refunded.

Motorola's MotoRazr V3xx has a ONE-TIME ONLY audible notification of a received text message or voicemail. What good is that? My former Samsung phone continually notified, every 5 minutes, until the message was attended. I emailed Motorola and they emailed back (paraphrased), "Sorry, only one time is what you get." I re-emailed and suggested a software update (maybe I should have used the word "firmware"). Never received a response.

The small metal control buttons, which are located on the face of the Motorola MOTOSLVR L7c, falls off easily and is small enough for a child to swallow. On several different occasions, I have complained to both my cell phone courier, Verizon Wireless, and manufacture, Motorola, who both responded the same by offering to repair the phone instead of solving the main issue. Within the last 10 months, I've received three different Motorola MOTOSLVR L7c from Verizon Wireless, but the result remained the same, the small metal control buttons fell off on all three Motorola MOTOSLVR L7c. It seems as if the glue or substance used to hold these buttons is defective and even though I do not have any small children currently residing with me, I fear for the safety of all small children who may come in contact with these small metal pieces and ingested it.

I have given my Motorola Mobile Phone L9 Standard for service at Redington India Limited, Bangalore which is an authorised service center of Motorola on 05.08.09. The reported problem was Keypad and Front Glass was broken and it needed to be replaced. The work order no: is BL/MO/09/03136.

I have contacted Ms. Manjushree, Redington India Limited manytimes for update of my cell phone and she has promised to get back with the details. However she has never come back. Now they are not at all picking up the landline call (080-[protected]). I'm really annoyed since it is already more than one month that I'm not even in a position to know the status of my mobile. I have already paid an advance amount also. It is really surprising and shocking to get this kind of response from as reputed company like Motorola.

In view of the above you are requested to do the needful.

I bought my daughter a W375 mobile phone, it was advertised plays MP3 ring tones. What an absolute bunch of liars, its no more MP3 compatible than my dog. It does not have the memory and one of there staff suggested I delete some of the features that it came with, so I could get a 5 second MP3 ring tone to work on it. It did not come with any MP3 ring tones and it did not matter how small I tried to make the file there was no way it was going to play MP3. My daughter and I will never buy any motorola products again.

I had ordered a motorola h-15 headset from n1-wirelesss it said in the ad the item was brand new upon opening the package it was obvious it was not motorola put plastic on the front of the unit and the ear piece has a plastic shield to protect it which this did not plus the speaker has some sort of glue on it which I had to remove and the front of it has marks where you can see it either was used or refurbished . Plus motorola send additional ear plugs for it which it only came with one. I wish I had paid the price and went to legitimate store at least I would have know it was brand new.

There was a display problem on my moto rokr U9 cell phone. So i gave it to a motorolla service centre as it was under warranty then. The ser centre was located in thane(w) neer talav pali. After few days i went to collect the cell phone and saw that the problems were not rectified and the warranty period was over. I explained the problem and gave the cell phone once again to him. after that he kept on delaying. His cell phone was swithed off whenever i tried calling him. Visits to the service centre went in vain. And eventually when i got my cell phone after 2 1/2 months, it was in the worst condition possible. the display (front and in) was badly scratched, the flap was very shaky, the display problem was still not resolved, the phone's edge was broken and the chip inside was visible. I did not eccept the phone and gave it back to him. It has been 15 days and i am not able to reach him. His cell phone is Switched Off and i've heard that the service centre has shut down. What should i do? Please help me on this. My name is aniket powar and cell phone nos are [protected]/[protected]

I purchased a sliver phone in May of 2006. The reason for my choice was because I wanted the service of a phone with the music feature. My service provider network is Cellular. The Sliver worked fine for about two months until I downloaded a CD from my computer onto the sliver. Then the music no longer worked. I went to the service provider Singular and they worked with my phone and finally advised me to go on line a check with Apple the maker of I Tunes. Cellular decided it was an Apple problem. After one month of being on the phone with the Apple experts I was told the problem was the phone companies because the method of downloading music from the program I Tunes was not made for phones, but for I pods. I should talk to the cell phone people. I have written a letter to the Sliver organization, and received no acknowledgement of receiving my letter. I checked on the computer for problems with the Sliver and found out that many people were having this problem. For every correction recommended by the Apple experts a new problem would pop up. Help, I need help this phone does not do what the advertisements and the users manual says it will do. This is fraud...and no one will take responsibility for it.

What can I do about this. I was thrilled with this phone when it worked. But now I have resorted to spending $200. more to purchase an I Pod which defeats the purpose of owning the Sliver. I would have purchased a much cheaper phone if I had wanted to buy an I Pod.

i purchased a motorola triumph approximately 6 months ago and i have had numerous problems with it...the worse being that the internal memory continues to be eaten up by log files building up on the phone with no way to delete them...resulting in having to factory reset the phone every couple of days...not to mention having to recustomize it as well...so to avoid this very huge inconvenience i purchased a the lg optimus elite...which turned out to feel very cheap and fragile so i returned it back to the store only to have my triumph's serial number locked by virgin mobile...which i discovered when i tried to reactivate it...supposedly for failure to return 2 replacement triumphs months earlier which i provided the vmu tracking numbers for and it was found that the merchandise had been returned...yet my triumph is still locked and now i have no phone until they finally unlock it or i purchase another...which i really do not want to do because anything beneath the triumph is not my personal preference and the htc evo tht is being released is waaaaay too expensive...not to mention i wld not dare pay another $200 or more for a virgin phone only to end up with bad results like i did with the triumph...the manager Carlos was courteous enough to give me a month free service for the inconvenience after we went round and about on the issue for almost 3 hours! he placed the funds under a serial no of another fone so that i wld not lose them since i have no physical phone at this time...the only replacement he would offer is another triumph which i refused since iv had 3 and no luck! i feel that virgin is going to lose alot of good customers if they dont start standing by their products...and showing more concern for their customers...! i will contact corporate concerning this issue!

I purchased a motorola defy handset (model no MB525, IMEI no [protected])) from Croma outlet in Mumbai on 16 Jan 12. However in mid Jun 12 the phone started developing lines in the display. As the phone was under warranty, I contacted the motorola call centre and they directed me to visit a service centre which goes by the name of 'SAP mobile service' which is essentially a Sony Ericson service centre. However I visited the service outlet in Mumbai and I was told after a long wait that the display needs to be changed and it would take approx 15 days. I must confess that the service centre is manned by an unprofessional bunch of youngsters who were more involved in chatting rather than attending to serious complaints. On further querry as to why the repairs would take so long the service centre representative (mr Naresh) told me that 15 days is an optimistic estimate and it would probably take more than a month as the motorola service is POOR. Leaving the handset for an indefinite number of days did not appeal to me. The lines in the display are increasing in size daily and very soon the handset will be unusable. So may I request some Motorola technicians to resolve my issue.

Netaji Subhash Place, Pitam Pura Delhi 110034, Delhi,
Pitampura, Near Netaji Subhash Metro Station, India,
Tel: 011-[protected]

There is network problem in it...
After the recovery of my phone, when I wentmotorola service center ... The staff is not well prepared to handle the customers,
service is third class,
after paying the payment of Rs850.00 for damage in the phone ... they don't give any bill or cash memo
For Asking for proper bill they were they don't have problem or going here and there to escape from us
we were sitting there for around 45 minutes or 1 hr ...To get the bill...And they were saying system is off you ll get it tomorrow
It doesn't make any sense that i take my phone today and come there again for getting the bill
motorola service station on netaji subhash palace
getting weird day by day
service is very bad
just take care of that and one copy of this is also going to main officer
my main motive is that why customer should wait for the bill you should provide us that thing immediately
rather than saying that wait for 15 or 20 minutes and i was waiting there for 45 - 1 hr
I guess the service center avoid the payments not paid bills to the customers and also avoid Sale Tax paid by us
these centers are working like do{2} no. ways
the center cheated the company as well as the government revenue like sale tax, and other amounts to be paid by the centers to the company as well as the govt.
Kindly to look after the activity of working of your authorized service centers

I am user of motorola rokor series. Since i bought the phone i am facing one or the other issue with the phone. I never expected this kind of response from such an expensive phone and that too from such a reputed company.

Problems are:

1)get switch off automatically
2)Voice clarity on speaker is not good.
3)Not compatible with blue tooth.

People beware!

I bought a Motorola phone Model no A1200 from Subhiksha Mobile, Shop No 1, PVR Complex, Saket, New Delhi vide bill no -INV/1688/Tele23 on 13/05/2007. I hardly used the phone as i don't have much usage and within 10 days it started hanging. On taking it to the Motorola Service center Ms Redington India Ltd, S 3 Green Park Extension. New Delhi 16 on the 2nd of June, I was returned the phone by them in 20 minutes saying "it is repaired there is a software problem". However when i checked it, it would not work so they took it back saying "Its a hard ware problem, we will repair it in 2 to 3 days. Today is the 8th and now they are saying the motherboard is spoiled and we have to change that and we don't know when it will come, maybe 2 or 3 days".

Would really appreciate if some one would listen to our complaint cause we were provided with a mobile no of a Mr Manoj Samwal who is supposed to help us but the trouble is he never picks up the phone.

I am using L7 fr the past six months - recently, I am facing a problem of the ring tome not audible even in "Loud" mode - sometimes, if I out off the instrument & restart, I am able to get the ring tone. This has been an erratic problem.

It appears to me that the speaker connection within the mobile phone is weak.

Respected Sir/Madam,
I am Sagar Tarkhala, a resident of a small village Bantwa in Junagadh (Gujarat, India). I've been following your initiative since a while. Bearing in mind your effectiveness and accomplishment to successfully resolve consumer issues, I thought that you might be able to help me as well. I have complaint regarding Motorola handset for which I’ve been chasing Motorola India since September 2012 but I all those has been in vain till now.

I bought Motorola RAZR, XT-910 IMEI [protected] from Hemel Hempstead, UK on date 18/12/2012. Then due to some personal reasons I had to shift to India in May 2012.

My phone is still under warranty according to Motorola website and considering the date of purchase of phone. Motorola India denies that specifying their policy: due to in availability of parts of foreign model. But, same variant model (XT910) of my phone is available in India. And according to the warranty page on my manual “Motorola Global Warranty Mobile Phones: For consumers who are covered by consumer protection laws or regulations in their country of purchase or, if different, their country of residence.” which clearly says the warranty is global. So, my phone should qualify under warranty. But still they deny providing warranty service. I’ve mentioned this complain on Motorola helpline [protected]) in June 2012. That issue remains unsolved.

On top of that Motorola Authorized service center has damaged my phone. The matters are described as follows:

On date 28-08-2012, I was in Ahmedabad, while there I had charging problem so, I called Motorola helpline on [protected] around 14:00 hrs, to seek help for problem in the mobile phone. I was informed about two service centers in Ahmedabad. Of which I chose DUGAR TELECARE, 20 ABHISHREE COMPLEX, BELOW NOKIA CARE, OPP. STAR BAZAR, SATELLITE, AHMEDABAD-380015. I contacted DUGAR TELECARE on no 079-[protected] around 1500 hrs and asked about the asked about the problem on the phone and I was told that charging issue is minor and would be solved within 2 hrs. Upon submitting my phone for repair at DUGAR TELECARE, I was given job sheet no.179 and was asked to sit for 2 hrs. When inquiring around 5:45, he gave my phone back. On checking the phone it still had problem, the battery status was displaying “?” symbol, the repair man called me in person and admitted that he accidently broke battery belt. So I was asked to wait till next day.

On 29-08-2012, I contacted DUGAR TELECARE quite a few times on [protected] right from 0930 hrs. DUGAR TELECARE kept coming up with a new excuse every time I called. In evening when I went there with his friends, I was called in personal again in small cabin and repairman confessed that he made mistake while repairing phone and phone has gone dead, this things will also be there in CCTV footage.

Following that I pleaded continuously to repair my not only expensive but more important phone. But I wasn’t paid attention and I was threatened to leave the shop. When I asked to show the CCTV footage of phone being repaired I was threatened and forced to leave. I felt helpless and I had nothing but to leave.

I reported this problem on National consumer helpline [protected]) on date 08/09/2012. They suggested me to submit my phone to another Motorola service center and get phone diagnosed and get its condition in writing. After that send notice to Motorola to resolve this problem.

Following National customer helpline’s instructions, on date 12-09-2012 I registered my complaint to Motorola on their helpline around 3:30 PM and I submitted his phone to ARYAN TECHNOLOGIES, UL-10, NEPTUNE TOWER, B/H RELIANCE WEB WORLD, OPP. JALARAM PETROL PUMP, KALAWAD ROAD, RAJKOT-360005 to get his phone repaired, where I was given job sheet no.3678. After diagnosing the phone the service center returned phone stating that the phone’s mother board and battery are damaged.
I’ve informed Motorola about this matter on date 12/09/2012 around 3:30 pm. I called again Motorola Helpline on date 24/09/2012 around 1:25 pm. Mr.Manesh attended the call but no response was given about advances in the matter. On date 07/11/2012 I called Motorola Helpline again to seek any advances and warranty matter, but no satisfying response was given. On date 12/11/2012 I called again Motorola Mr.Desai attended the call, but upon asking advances in the matter I was told that I can go to consumer forum if I want but, Motorola won’t help me in this matter. I called Motorola helpline on date 20/11/2012 again, this time Mr.Manesh attended the call and told they can’t help me until I go to service centre which is nearly 800 KM away and then talk to Motorola Helpline. Every time I called Motorola Helpline, I have mentioned all the details as well as I have cooperated fully with the Motorola representatives but no proper response was given until this day.
I’ve informed about these matters to Motorola by notice, on date 17/10/2012 I sent them legal notice by post by registered AD no.RG304116492IN in which I mentioned all the minute details but, I wasn’t paid attention at all. Upon getting no responses I sent notice to Motorola on 09/11/2012 by registered AD no. RG304117100IN but, the later one was not accepted by Motorola. Till the day I haven’t received any responses from Motorola

I’ve called Motorola Helpline multiple times and sent even two notices to Motorola but till the day, I’m not given complain number. This shows lack of cooperation and seriousness towards consumer.
On date 21/11/2012 I have informed Motorola UK about this matter, ‘Tijl’ was the representative from Motorola UK. She said that this is Motorola India service centre’s fault and they should be extending the warranty and get your phone repaired.
On date 23/11/2012 I have contacted Motorola 3 times then they informed me that they can’t help me in this matter because I should have informed them earlier, and they believe that I might have damaged the phone so, asked for CCTV footage for repairing but they denied every time and ignored complain every time. The names of representatives were Mr.Harsh, Mr.Manesh, Mr.Pradeep respectively out of which Mr.Pradeep replied bluntly.
It is clear that Motorola didn’t investigate into this matter and are ignoring my genuine case again and again. They didn’t even check the details or footage with the service center and kept ignoring my demand of CCTV footage.
I feel that I am helpless and I am deprived of my consumer rights by Motorola on both issues of warranty and damaged phone by Motorola. The legal and official process seems too long and tedious, I’m not sure when will I get justice. So, I request you to take appropriate actions on my behalf and please help me in this matter in all ways possible

I have got all the legal proofs, witnesses, documents and logs to support the facts mentioned in this letter.

For any further details please feel free to contact me at any time on +91-[protected].

I confirm all the details and data furnished are best of my knowledge.

Thanking you

Sincerely,
Sagar Tarkhala

I called Monique said as long as it showes she has a balance she's ok. I called again to conferm of what Monique the employee said to me, then get this she said in her words "I told you. What didn't you understand? it's simple" Oh and she's the manager she dared me to complain. I don't live in Sparks Nevada I live in CA I told her that she was out of line and that she needes to take a class on customer service. I sais what if I had a learning disability then what? Oh well she said. I guess she doesn't value her job specialy in today's economy. She is lucky she has a job. I wish someone would contact me regarding this issue.

My company decided to give Motorola Milestone (with flip keyboard pad) to their employees but not to be claimed for any malfunction with my company but if any of us have any issue we are to consult directly to the guarantee provided (mobile assembling company) which are simply pathetic in pakistan. Now, i Paid Rs. 38000 for a phone which Motorola calls 'MOTOROLA MILESTONE' but its not nothing more than a ###. Lot of employees bought this phone and all are crying. This mobile phone just brought an extremely bad name to MOTOROLA phones to such an extent that none of the employees ever wishes to buy the Motorola Phone again and just regretting on the Motorola Milestone they have bought. Just almost a year complete and my Mobile's and my collegues mobile (Both Motorola Milestones) started malfunctioning and their touch is out of order now and its keeps working on its own. Furthermore, from the very start all of my collegues who bought this Mobile phone had issues regarding Voice Quality at recieving end. Its a simply design disaster. Now, it simply had brought a very very bad name to your company, believe me. Once upon a time we use to wish we had a motorola mobile and now none of the people who have experienced Motorola Milestone wishes to open even the website of new Motorola phones. Simply pathetic ! Now, if some one will ask my opinion i will simply discourage to buy motorola. If MOTOROLA thinks they can pay me Rs. 38000 or some motorola phone similar to that price as a remedy i will send my discarded Motorola Milestone phone back to your company, else what more can i do, i am a job person, i am getting time after very long to report it to you and in pakistan there is no market of motorola, it has a poor resale and repair facility. I simply would think i threw Rs. 38000 into a dustbin, if none of the Motorola Company personal contacts me and pay the remedy for it. If any of the motorola personal wants to contact me here's my email ID yasirchishti@gmail.com. Thanks

I brought Motorola C168 in Dec2006 and still it is in warranty period, but i m not getting any kind of repair service. AS my Display not working properly, there is Dark Blue line in upper part, so that i m not able to see battery backup, antenna, other functions. They are not ready to give me the required service.

Service is really pathetic. I will not Buy any Motorola product in Future. I m trying to contact a lawyer to file a case against motorola service or i will go to Consumer Court.

Need all of yours Suggestions!

I bought Motorola handset L6i on 06-May-2007. In less than a month's time I have started facing problems with this handset. The key pad suddenly stops functioning - I can see the calls coming but pressing keys (either Answer/Ignore) does not work. Not able to make any calls.

After several attempts to take the battery and SIM card out and again putting them back, it works some time while at other times it does not work.

I am really shocked and amazed at such poor quality of Motorola products. The last phone I used was a Nokia one and I never had any issues for 5 years!

I bought a motorola motoflip (W220) about 9 months back which is under warranty. Battery of my moble stopped charging. I visited nearest Motorola service center [Redington Service] in sector 20D on Sept 3, 2007. Service center people without having a look at problem asked me to deposit the cell and contact after 1-2 days.

After 2-days when i visited the center they informed me that motherboard has to be changed and they are waiting for courier. Again i visited them on 8th Sept' 07 they were still waiting for motherboard. Then suggested me to contact on 11th Sept' 07 (the probable arrival of courier carrying motherboard). Although i am in dire need of my mobile i am not going to visit them on said date i.e Sept 11, 2007 (today)because of my previous bitter experience.

Motorola should try to improve their after sale services and fix a time period for repairs. They should understand the dependability of a person on his/her mobile.

I purchased Motorola Razr V3i on 4th December 2007 at around 8.30 pm and within 24 hours (on 5th December 2007 around 4.30 pm) its flip screen display stopped functioning.

The shopkeeper tells me that I applied pressure on it or mishandled it, which is absolutely out of question (after all who wouldn't handle it properly for even a single day!)

He refused to replace the cellphone.
(NOTE- Nokia has a policy of replacement in case of any complaint within 48 hours of purchase).

If this is the quality of the product that without any mishandling or mistreatment, phone displays keep getting faulty then what do we expect from a company like Motorola?!

Absolutely pathetic quality and even poorer after-sales service.

I took this phone with much interest but have lost it all now, after this episode.

I bought a Motorola Xoom five days ago and signed up the data plan with Verizon but no the phone plan. I have had difficulty getting the initial password, so that I can register with Verizon to check usage status and pay bills. The problem is that when I register, I need to provide a temporary password. But the temporary password was either sent to the phone# attached to the device or in "snail" mail. I did not sign up a phone service with Verizon, so I could not have a phone to retrieve the text message. The Xoom cannot receive text messages but the mail usually takes several days. They did not have a way to send the password in email or FAX.

This is what I found out today after I went to the store talking to two people and called the customer service talking to three people. I talked to total of 5 people eventually eventually found out why I was unable to register. The people I talked to had no idea what my problem was, telling me to use the password I created, but since I could not even get an initial password to sign in at the first place, I did not even have a chance to create a password. I was then told to check the text message in my device, but there was no such a folder where I could check. The process of explaining where the problem was and how to resolve it took me 5 days. I was told to wait in the "mail" for the initial password. This is a ridiculous situation to even get their new customer to start to register with Verizon. If I had known I would experience this type of difficult process, I would not have even bother to buy Xoom with them.

I bought the phone from Cellular Blowout. It is a Motorola flip phone. The phone gets to hot to hold. The screen goes blank or completely black. I had the phone about a week when the problems began.

I contacted the company and they said it has exceeded their return policy I bought the phone on January 13, 2010 and contacted them about 1 week later. I just received and email that told me that I had received the phone which I obviously was aware of.

I think that they are being unreasonable in their polocy of no returns after 10 days.

I unfortunately purchased a motorola v3233i phone last August and have had nothing but trouble from it. I sent it back for warranty service once in December and it appeared to be ok for a while and then began functioning strangely again. It would shut off on its own, switch settings for ring or vibrate and in the end, if stopped being able to charge, at which point I sent it back (in june). I got it back today from motorola service and the refused to honor the warranty saying it had been burned, which it never was. This is unbelievable that a company can get away with this and I will never buy a motorola product again! I will also do my best to share this with others on the web so they dont make the same mistake choosing a motorola phone!

I bought a Mototola Cellphone from Ms. Maru Enterprises, Vashi New Mumbay on 27 Feb 2008. The set failed to function from the month of August 2008, which is still under warranty, and
was returned to the Service centre, namely, varad at vashi. Despite several telephone calls and personal trip to this shop, I
dont get a satisfactory reply from them. The service provided by
the staff is very very poor. It seems they are not bothered about
their reputation, if they have one, and I am really disgusted with their attitude.

I followed the directions to claim the rebate and I received a reply from another company located in Connecticut that handles the rebates. They e-mail back to me that it takes 4-6 weeks.

Finally, in February, they e-mailed me again that the rebate is in the mail. I never received it. I called them up, but is impossible to get to them. I wrote them a letter and received no response. This is my first and last experience with Motorola.

Also, from the beginning this phone did not hold the charge for more than a day.

Thank God it didn't break down. Then I would have to send it in for repair. BEWARE of Motorola rebates.

This is both about the US and the division in Poland.

I will try to cut it short. My phone camera was malfunctioning (over a year ago) so I gave it back for repairs in Poland.
The phone came after 2 weeks still not working properly, but with marks such as scratches and so on. It was also badly reassembled because the keyboard was embossed. I gave it again back and it took 1, 5 months to exchange the "flex band" connecting the camera with the rest of the phone. It was working then but still in a worse state than I gave to the service.

Then there where lot's of mails i.e. to the polish Motorola division explaining what's happening with their phones during repairs. I didn't receive any response.
I wrote a couple of times to Motorola in the US, and the customer service told me that's not their business because of geography. Finally I wrote to Motorola where supposedly people should report improper behavior in any part of the company.
I quickly received a response that they will check it and that was the end of story or any contact with them.

I really wished they would do that better, because I liked their products, but with the memory of the above I probably will never buy anything from them. I don't want to be treated like this once more.

I've been with t-mobile for 13 years now and never received an upgrade. I bought one new phone from t-mobile only because I wasn't aware that I could get an upgrade (it was convienently not mentioned by the sales rep). Well my razor phone that I have had for 3 years will no longer let me hear phone calls unless it is on speaker phone. The screen is completely blank and it will only charge half the time I plug it in. I made t-mobile aware of my issues and they tried to give me an "upgrade". HA. My monthly bill went from $75 to $120 after the upgrade. When I asked if they had a free phone to upgrade to, the t-mobile employee explained that even the FREE phones have upgrade fees! WHAT! So a FREE phone was going to cost me around $40 (which had to be paid before I left the store, they wouldn't even tack it onto my bill) So you're wondering why I didn't use my insurance to replace my phone? Here's the kicker...my cell phone insurance didn't cover my cell phone! That's right, the insurance that I have been paying for for the past three years, the insurance that t-mobile set me up, did not cover the phone they sold me. My phone has no water damage, no dents or scratches, it just simply does not work. This is how t-mobile has decided to reward my loyalty of 13 years... No refund of insurance money, No free upgraded phone, No discounted phone. Needless to say I will be switching carriers asap.

I have purchased Motorola W375 mobile 5 months back. It has fallen down while driving and broken in to two parts. When given to repair the servicing people told that the housing of both sides will be replaced. But they have taken two months and told when asked that the spare parts yet to come from factory. This is how the Motorola company doing fraud business with customers.

Phone under 1 yr warranty used for 8 mos now and missing in action. Sent phone for repair at Motorola and didn't get any returned calls from repair staff, customer agents, and supervisors after making repeated calls on a daily basis. Going three weeks without a phone and still no call back as to status of repair. Assuming phone been missing the day they received it from FedEx 3rd of August. Supervisors admitted to be fully responsible and would send a new phone in 24 hrs on the 8th of August. Still pending to this day of the 24th of August. All I'm asking for is one simple phone call to relieve me in any way but I guess it's just too much to ask. Also e-mailed Motorola and got the same results. Also left messages at repair facility with 3 agents and all calls made there was always on a voicemail, never a live customer agent and still no response from that team. I hope this gets around because I wouldn't want anyone else to experience what I've gone through.

ordered phone, company emailed me it was on backorder repeatedly even though website stated it was in stock. I got got tired of waiting and asked them to cancel order. They sent me email saying they canceled my order as requested and that I would see a refund on my next credit card statement. Never refunded. It has now been six months. I have made repeated attemts to contact them. They will not answer their phone or even let you leave a voice message. Instead they tell you to contact them via their website. I have done so over and over but they do not reply back. I have reported them to the better business bureau here in my state of Pennsylvania. They responded saying they have tried but are unable to contact them. Then I reported them to the consumer protection agency in PA. They also say they have tried and cannot contact them, they have contacted the consumer protection agency of California and asked for their help in the matter. I have also reported them to my credit card company who said they will try to help resolve the issue. Meanwhile I am still awaiting a refund. I have dozens of copies of the emails they sent me, I have copies of the attempts to contact them through their website, and copies of my order status on their webpage which still to this day shows that my phone is awaiting order fufillment ...it should say order was canceled. I sent these copies per request to consumer protection, better business bureau and my credit card company as well as keeping a set for my own records until this issue is resolved if ever.
