delivery and false hope
I went into the local store searching for a Christmas gift 10 days before Christmas. I found a item which happened to be out of stock. I was told by the gentleman that if I ordered it online it'd arrive well before Christmas. Unfortunately after the order was placed I began tracking it and it said it would arrive after Christmas which was very unfortunate as I was out of a gift and out of my money. I am very disappointed in the lack of knowledge of the associates in store as well as customer service who I also spoke with and basically said I was out of luck. I won't be ordering from aldo online or in store again. I'm not sure why it would take so long to deliver.

I bought a Black size 7 formal shoe, took it back after realising that the left shoe was wider than the right. McDonald(they gentleman who assisted me) adviced me to pay an extra R250 to get another delivered in a weeks time, from another store. It's been over 5weeks, and besides the fact that i had to go back to the shop every week, there was no and still wasnt any communication whats so ever.I spend money driving to Mall of the North, it's unfair and unprofessional, I've bought 3 pairs of shoes at Also.but I doubt I'll recommend it to anyone else. I submitted an order on 22nd Nov 2017 with Aldo of a pink bag. My order no was [protected]. I didn't receive my order until 10th Dec. When i tried contacting them, they said that the package was printed but it never shipped. They were not able to reorder it because they were out of stock. All they did was give me a refund and nothing else in compensation. Not even an apology email. Extremely disappointed by their customer care service.

I write to you regarding the horrible experience that I have had with ALDO, India and subsequent service of the same.
I had purchased a pair of black and white wedges (amongst 5 others) from the Aldo store in Mumbai (Bandra) in January 2017. The images that I have uploaded show the state of the shoe after ONE wear!
I had taken it to the Calcutta store (since I was visiting Calcutta at that time), who said they would be able to exchange it for the same pair but did not have ready stock of it.
I then took it to the Chennai store (since I reside in Chennai), who refused to address it since it was bought in Mumbai and they were not willing to take responsibility. Was very disheartened ! I decided to not make it a big issue and called the Mumbai store to tell them about this. They in turn told me to address it with the Chennai showroom as it is the same mother company. On going back to the Chennai store, and updating them on this, they refused! I requested them to atleast organise to send it to the store in Mumbai and issue a voucher for me to use for future purchases. They said they weren't authorised to do that. On suggesting that they work this issue out with the head office and find a solution, they till date haven't reverted back. I told them to keep my broken shoes and call me back when they resolve the issue.
In addition to this, is an experience with a pair of strappy white wedges. The straps come off every time I wear them. Took it to the shop for replacement/fixing. They took 3 months, saying they need to send it to their main warehouse for repair. I followed up on that EVERY WEEK for 3 MONTHS! Finally on receiving it again, the time I wore it ------- *surprise surprise* the straps came off AGAIN. It is very evident that they did a horrible glueing job as the straps were stained in brown glue. Took it back AGAIN, when they suggested I take it to the cobbler and fix it myself if I thought they did a horrid job.
I currently reside in Singapore and it is impossible for me to run around to sort this matter.
Assuming Aldo is a globally acclaimed company, the least I expected was for a convenient after service, let alone quality of shoes. The shoes you sell are not cheap, that I cannot discard them after ONE wear. It is very VERY disappointing and I have refrained myself and others from shopping at ALDO since

First of all I am very disappointed with your customer service . I went in to your store in October and the salesperson that I talk to was very rude by the name of SYLVIA AT THE MCALLEN TEXAS LA PLAZA MALL STORE. I went in to return a necklace that my sister bought me that I did not like. I also had receipt to return the item. When my sister bought it it did not have a ticket on it. I went into your store 10 days after she purchased it.. TThe salesperson Sylvia did not allow me to return it. It has now been 2 months that I have been waiting for someone in corporate to call me regarding this incident. The responses I get from the representative when I call is someone will get back to me in 24 to 48 hours. And as of yet NO ONE HAS CALLED ME. I have called 4 times already. No wonder there are so many complaints on line about this company

I was very unhappy with the service i received today. (Nov30th) I have purchased a pair of boots online with the assumption i could return them in store, when i went yesterday to return them they informed me i couldn't do to the fact that i used paypal. I was treated very well at this time. Then when i got home i started the process to get the refund and mail the boots back, when i was talking to the chat person they informed me that this policy had changed and that this store must have been uniformed. So i decided to go back due to not wanting to deal with the shipping and figuring that out. when i went back to the store (sherway mall) i was treated horribly the girl behind the desk was basically laughing saying that it was impossible and making me feel like i was uninformed. She was no help at all, didn't even bother to look it up or anything. So i left, i am very unhappy with the service i have been given and does not make me in any way want to shop at this store.

After reading these comments it's no wonder that so many people have customer complaints about the service they received with in stores. I called headquarters trying to figure out what happened to my order and a manager named Pamela was beyond rude about the situation. My order hadn't been shipped after 7 days nor would I have known or received my order if I hadn't called bc sssociates with in the store kept telling to wait on a email. Had to make a purchase twice just to get the order stArted over and I still have not received a refund for the first order that was never shipped. Now I keeps getting a excuse that Black Griday just passed so orders will be backed up... but I didn't place a order during Black Friday! It just so happened that I caught ALDOS mistake a day after Black Friday... it starts at the top of every company and trickles down, so I'm not surprised to read about the bad experiences within stores... Pamela should be FIRED! Don't believe me? Please pull the call that was taken approximately 7:50 pm eastern time on 11/25/17 if anyone actually cares ... I had someone respond to a message I sent via Facebook, took the order numbers but never followed up... SAD... I will think twice before I spend money with this company again...BAD BUSINESS practices will catch up with ALDO sooner or later

I am so dissapointed in service that I received at one of your Aldo stores. I visited the store at green acres mall on November 17, 2017. I had a return that I had on a pair of shoes and jewelry I bought at another location. I had all intentions to make an exchange but went to the register first to make return so I didn't have to worry about the merchandise in my hand. The cashier was friendly we had great conversation. He asked why I was returning and I told him I had to because everything in my closet is starting to look the same, I have so many shoes from Aldo's. I love the brand and I have addiction to shoes. During conversation with associate I told him that instead of returning my shoes to my debit could I get cash back. I had identity theft on my card and I had literally just left the bank from being there for hours trying to resolve my account. The manager then walked over this is where my experience went bad. She came over and said she was unable to do return and give me cash back that I would need to return merchandise back onto my debit. I explained to her that I has identity theft and she said there was nothing she can do. Now I know that was untrue. Like I said I have shopped at many Aldo's and some I have had to return and when using my debit they ask me if I want it back to my card or cash. I knew at that moment she was trying to give me a hard time. I am a store manager for Victoria's Secret I know how a register works. I also know that I will do anything to make sure my customers have the best experience when shopping at my store. I was so livid. I then had to call customer service to get assistance with my transaction there was nothing else I could do. I just left from the bank where I was told someone took thousands of dollars out of my account and now visiting this store the manager is giving me a hard time. The customer service representative was very helpful she did tell me that it is the Stores decision on how they wanted to handle the situation. I guess the manager decided she didn't want to help me. The representative via phone gave another option which was to put it on my temporary card. I told the manager what representative said and she didn't even believe me she asked to speak to the representative because she said she don't believe she could process that transaction either.. after about 40 min the manager finally processed transaction with me having to have the representative on the phone talking to me the entire Time. I have never once felt so humiliated before. I can't believe that this is how Aldo managers represent your brand. I will never shop at this location again. However I did just order two pairs of shoes online. This is how loyal I am to the brand. This experience did teach me a lesson. I will listen to my customers more and ensure they always have a great experience because the last thing I would want is for my customers to stop visiting my store and resort to shopping on line.

horrible customer service
Went to the Aldo in Brampton at the Bramalea City Centre to return some boots I ordered online. Returned 2 pairs, and needed to exchange 2 more as I needed a smaller size. So the clerk ordered the 2 pairs I was exchanging and ordered a third pair I saw in the store I liked but they didn't have my size either. He said there was a promotion on for free products (shoe shine, spray etc.) and I could get around $55 due to the amount of $$ I spent. Realized later the clerk didn't correct the price of the exchanged shoes so I was being charged $10 more per shoe. So I had to go back to the store to get reimbursed $20 plus taxes. I then returned the third pair that I ordered (not the exchanged shoes) and they credited me back $220 - $55, realized later this $55 was the credit for the product I received for free. So now I'm paying for the "free product" because she didn't give me the full cost of the boots back $220. So I went back to the store again, tried explaining this to the original clerk who messed it all up in the first place and he just didn't get it. But ended up reimbursing me the "free product" of $50 I wanted to return, since I was now paying for it. Noticing then that he charged me for an insole that I never even purchased, I don't use in soles. So in the end I was out $5 but it's better then $55 or more.
To sum up a long confusing story the clerk messed up my 1 transaction 3 times, absolutely ridiculous. I will from now check every single line on my receipts going forward. And I'm sure he thinks it was all me, who was the problem.
worst customer service of my life
I went to return shoes I bought a few days earlier. I bought them as the store was closing and the associate said, "you can always just return them". Simple as that right? WRONG. Little did I know what was to follow was literally 2 months of wasted valuable time.
Somehow, the associate rung in my payment as another card number (which is a WHOLE other issue in itself). The charge came up on my card, but because the card # was different, I was told to call customer service for "help".
Summary:
- Customer service says they'll escalate it to a store manager who will call or email me. I just want a refund. They explain "we have to fix the internal issue first so you'll have to connect with a manager"
- no one calls after a week
- customer service says they'll escalate it even further to a district manager. I ask for an email rather than a call, because you know I work for a living and may miss a call during business hours
- district manager calls. I miss the call. I call back twice. His voicemail isn't even set up. How professional.
- I hear nothing for another week. No calls, no emails. Clearly Aldo must really care about their customers.
- I call customer service and they apologize and say I can go directly to a store and they'll direct them to refund me over the phone.
SO IN SUM, they could have refunded me from the very beginning.. but decided no. Let's exploit this customer and use her for our benefit to improve our internal hiccup in the system. Forget her time. Forget the unnecessary troubles this caused and continues to. Forgot making her feel valued for even shopping with us in the first place. Let's NOT address the snowball of a situation this has become and hopefully she'll just disappear.
I have never been so disappointed with a store in my life. I've been shopping at Aldo for years! And will never again in my life. I will make sure all my friends know how little they care about customers and will spread the word to everyone I possibly can.
To think this business started off as a sincere, family company. Terrible experience. Time in my life I will never get back. Thank you Aldo!
smooth leather cleaner
I bougth an Aldo smooth leather cleaner and something went really wrong, after fallowing the instructions to clean my resently bought Aldo brown leather shoes (spread the lotion evenly over the leather surface. Let dry, buff with a clean dry cloth) i did notice that the cleaner have litterally taked away most of the leather color, as result my new pair of shoes are destroyed!
I can not even express how mad I am about all this happening.
What solution can you offer me? Considering that i bought an aldo cleaner for aldo shoes from an aldo store and now i have a horrible looking pair of shoes.

I went to buy some boots in the aldo store of memorial mall in houston tx. ask for a size to a boy who was not doing anything. He was talking with his partner He did not want to attend me I wait like 7 min. I approached another very friendly guy and He wonder if someone attended to me. I told him that the other guy I asked for a size of boots and he did not answer me and he went to the registrar. the boy told me that if he had realized that he did not want to help me. and he was very kind and went to look for me the size of the boots. I work in a store and the priority is the client one has to be very kind to the client. I asked for the name of the young man and they told me his name is Carlos, they did not want to tell me his last name. Maybe it was not the real name because I said that I was going to report that horrible bad time that happens in that store
very poor customer service and very lazy stuff
I really love to shop from Aldo store. I purchased formal and casual shoes from this shop. But now I have to change brand because of my bad experience from one of the Aldo shop in Al Bawadi Mall branch. I sent my shoes for repair. In the receipt that they have given me, it says it will take 2-3 weeks but its been a month now and i havent received the shoes back. They are supposed to call me but when I visited the shop to check what happened, its still not there and i wasnt informed. This is a very bad service.

i shop at aldo on the regular. i love there shoes but my recent visits to this aldo (97 5th ave) weren't pleasant. they have the most rude and unprofessional store manager. In one of my visits he was being very verbal to one his employees. i think that discussing personal issues at work should be done in a private space not in front of all the customers who are trying to enjoy their shopping day and not have it ruined by someone who isn't professional enough to pull his associates to the back to speak with them.

I bought a pair of blue falier moccasins from Aldo through Jabong. Its been 3 months and wore d shoes only on 3 occasions, the white rubber sole block of the heel has cracked and broken into several pieces as a result of cheap rubber, have bought these shoes for Rs.10000($ 160) expected more from such a reputed brand, please can you help me with a refund or a replacement on d product.
eryde heels from aldo
To whom it may conern,
I bought a a pair of Eryde heels from the Leicester City Centre branch last December which cost me £80. In the short space of having them, I have had to have them repaired on the straps 3 times as they have snapped (considering these are leather, this is not a great product).
I'm disappointed with Aldo as I have always shopped in the stores because the shoes are comfy from the first wear.
These gave now cracked on the sole and I feel a very unsatisfied customer.
I'd like to receive acknowledgment of my complaint and what you have to say as a company for such a poor made product? I've only worn them 8x and having them repaired on 3 occasions is unacceptable for a product that costs £80.
I'd like a voucher for the store to replace the shoes.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am an Indian national, currently living in Hanoi. Few months back [ approx 3-4 months], I had bought a pair of black formal oxford shoes from your 'Hoan Kiem, Hanoi' store. The shoes did cost me approx 3.5 Million to 4.0 Million VND. The issue I want to bring to your notice that after wearing it for some time now, one of the shoes got torn from the side and detaching from the sole [ I have already given photos to the store manager].
I took the shoes to the store to ask for a fix and they told hat this issue cannot be fixed. This is completely a quality issue and Aldo must either fix it or give me a replacement of shoes to which they did not agree.
As a normal customer, if I happen to spend 3.5 Million to 4.0 Million VND for a pair of shoes I would at least expect it to last longer and not wore out within 3-4 months from purchase.

I placed an order of a women navy blue Aldo purse worth 3000/- from myntra. And I got the order but after using one day only the stitches of purse comes out and the condition of purse is getting worst day by day. I didn't used it even twice and myntra says it's not our fault it's company material . It means the material and quality of your brand is not good or myntra gave me a copy of your brand. I never suggest anyone to take any Aldo product online. This is really a worst online experience of mine. I bought first time Aldo product and I am unsatisfied.

I visited the aldo store in westfield stratford London to buy a pair of shoes. The store did not have my size in stock so the sales assistant checked availability in the nearest store to me which was in brentcross, and she mentioned that they have 2 pairs in stock. I left straight away with my heavily pregnant wife and two young kids. I drove 45 minutes to aldo in brentcross only to be told that they do not have my size in stock and they haven't sold that size in the last few hours so aldo in westfield got their information wrong. I was also advised in the westfield store that if the shoes are not available then they can be ordered to the store for collection, but the store in brentcross said this facility is not available! I left the store very disappointed with the customer service I received, I was misinformed and left out of pocket as i had to drive 45 to another store and back. I feel let down as i was told I would find the shoes I wanted but this never happened. I did call the brentcross store several times before going there and whilst en route too just to make sure the shoes were available but nobody answered the phone. This is one of the worst if not the worst customer services I have received from a retailer. I hope you can understand my frustrations as a customer and hope you will be able to explain why I was misinformed and spent the best part of my weekend chasing something which was never available in the first place.
