ATLANTIC SUPERSTORE JOB CONTRACT AGREEMENT LETTER

Atlantic Superstore Canada is pleased to confirm the offer extended to you to join its workforce. We look forward to you, becoming (continuing to be) a part of the Firm. The purpose of this letter is to set forth our understanding of the terms of your employment with Atlantic Superstore including your compensation and other benefits. It is important that you understand clearly what your benefits are and also what is expected of you at the Firm
(1)DATE OF COMMENCEMENT
Atlantic Superstore has offered you employment in the position of “STORE KEEPER” based on the information you supplied and your experience. You are expected to assume duty with Atlantic Superstore on the date mentioned in your intent appointment letter.
(2) VISA PROCESS.
Atlantic Superstore will be responsible for 70% of your visa processing amount while you will be responsible for 30%, this is because of our past experience whereby we paid the complete visa fee and our employer turns us down to work with another company causing us to lose the amount we paid for his Visa/Work permit and flight ticket to Canada. You have to pay for the visa application fee during the time of the visa process at the Canadian Embassy in your country. While company will be responsible for your work permit fee and flight ticket to Canada
(3) AT-WILL EMPLOYMENT
If you choose to accept this offer, please understand your employment is “at-will,” voluntarily entered into and is for No specific period. As a result, you are free to resign at any time, for any reason or for no reason. Similarly, Atlantic Superstore is free to conclude its at-will employment relationship with you at any time, with or without cause.
(4)SALARY
Your basic monthly Salary is 8500, CAD, Per Month after all deductions as your net salary payable before 28th of every month generally, your salary will be reviewed after six months and thereafter annually.
(5) INCREMENT AND PROMOTION
Your performance and contribution to the company will be an important consideration for
salary increments and promotion policy.
(6) WORKING HOURS AND CONTRACT DURATION: (3) THREE (RENEWABLE).
Monday to Friday9.30 a.m. to 8.00p.m., Lunch time: 01.00 noons to 2.00 p.m. Two (2) tea
breaks of 30 minutes each Sunday 10.00 a.m. To 6.00 p.m. and one (1) day off in week. The Company reserves the right to change your working days and hours.
(7) ANNUAL LEAVE/HOLIDAYS
Employee will be entitled to five (5) weeks paid leave annually. You will be paid $ 2,000 CAD for your leave allowance annually. The first such leave becomes due after completing of six (6) month continuous service. The Company shall bear the cost of Air fare for vacation trip for employee and 2 other family members.
(8) ACCOMMODATION:
Atlantic Superstore will provide accommodation to all foreign nationals at the Company's staff. Company will provide three bedroom apartment for married couples and two bedroom apartment for single employee are entitle to take meals free of charge at the general staff. Employees are customized cooks and dieticians are available options. Recreational/sports faculties shall also be made available at the disposal of all expatriates with no expenses to be incurred. Laundry and Dry cleaning service will as well be made available to all employees by the company's laundry and cleaning unit.
(9) MEDICAL AND HEALTH CARE:
Employer will provide the employee with comprehensive health care for the time of contract, and follow-on care for injuries suffered during the time of contract for employee and family.
(10) TRANSPORTATION:
An official vehicle/helicopter shall be provided on 24 hours daily basis for local transportation. A round trip flight ticket to cover the span of your contract engagement will be provide and delivered to you on the completion of your relevant travel documents and immigration particulars.
(11) ORIENTATION PROGRAM:
There will be a routine check of your credentials on arrival by the human resource department to confirm validity. Candidates are to compulsorily attend the 2 weeks orientation/familiarization seminar organized for new employees after arrival.
I understand that nothing contained in the agreement letter or conveyed during any interview, which may be granted is intended to create an employment contract between the company and me.
In addition, I understand and agree that if I am employed, my employment is for no definite or determinable period and may be terminated at any time, and this will be because when I carry out anything I discern already which is forbidden and against the rules and regulations of the company.
