When a family member of mine was grieving over the death of a much-loved pet and talked with Dr. Bryant about it, she looked at my family member like they were crazy and told them that they must be possessed by demons or something because they were grieving over a dead pet. She also told my family member that she should stop grieving because it was just a stupid animal anyway. Talk about nasty! That's the last thing anyone wants to hear when they're grieving over a pet's death. I don't recommend Dr. Bryant, unless you enjoy those sorts of comments from your doctors.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
This does not sound like Dr. B at all! I have been to her when I lost a pet of 18 years and not only was she compassionate, hugging me while I cried, her staff was incredibly compassionate as well. I, of course, am not saying that something wasnt said that might have been misunderstood, but I have been her patient for 20+ years and have NEVER been treated this way. I have only received compassionate care from a professional with an inate ability to comfort.
I went to Dr. Bryant with a very bad cold. She prescribed a medication that I knew would interact with another one I was on. When I questioned her, she assured me it would be okay. Needless to say, ended up in ER with dangerously high blood pressure and she blamed me for taking it. She also had me kicked out of the practice that she was in at the time. Definitely not trusting this doctor.
I have known Dr. Gail Bryant for several years and this sounds extremely out of character for her. She has been empathetic and compassionate with myself and my family members during very trying times. Her care of some serious medical situations was exemplary. I would recommend her to family members that I love dearly without reservation and have done just that.
I completely agree! She has been my physician since 2002 and I have never known her to be anything but knowledgeable and professional; especially when it comes to medication. She errs on the side of caution and puts her concern for her patients first. She discusses things with you and provides alternatives as well. I would have no problem with her treating friends and loved ones.
