I bought a motorola l6 on 4 may 06 and its under warranty. My charger stopped working and I went to my nearest motorola authorized center on jail road new delhi. They say they don't have the charger and I have to wait may be a week or more than that. Or I should try other centers which is far from my residence. I even asked them to give me a date after 10 days but they say they cant assure. They spend so much on advertising. Pls spend on customer service.

I have a Motorola W210 working with Indicom connection. The set suddenly has 21 messages which cannot be opened and also no incoming messages are coming. When gave to a dirty stinking and what else can it be called "redington service centre" in Coimbatore they said they will see but the handset was returned in the same condition.. The people in that centre are also the same sort of stinking cheap third rate and use same language. This Motorola is the worst choice and never ever please buy any Motorola phone. It f****. this makes my phone unusable and my clients are also complaining of me not replying to their messages.. Wish I was in U.S. could have sued the company to the gutter

Hi,

I have a Motorola L7 handset. Before a week it started giving problem like it gets switched off and again gets switch on by it self. I showed it to nearest Motorola authorized service center at the following address...

Redington India P Ltd, NO,201,202,203 & 205,
SHEETAL PLAZA, 2ND FLOOR,CST NO.1125,
FINAL PLOT NO.499,OFF F.C.ROAD OF MODEL COLONY,
SHIVAJINAGAR, PUNE -- 411005., Pune, Shivajinagar,
NEXT TO HOTEL AMBASSADAR,, India,
Tel: 020-[protected]/92,
Email: servpunmobile@redington.co.in.

The phone is still with them.

I swear I wont take or even suggest to take a Motorola phone after experiencing this type of hopeless service.
If this continues Motorola is surely going to loose a lot of customers.
The manager at the service gives a open threat that go and complain in the website.
Actually not only I but each and every customer is unsatisfied at that service center.
I have made a video clip of the nuisance going on the service center.
There customers were comparing NOKIA , LG and other service centers.

my WORK ORDER NUMBER is PU/MO/0710256.
I am surely going to file a "Consumer Forum" IF MY CONCERN IS NOT SATISFIED.

Moreover I will blog this thing into all the search sites , so that when a customer will search for Motorola phone,
at least he will be well aware about the aftermaths.

But anyways Motorola phone is not bad but it is in wrong hands and this is going to make a great loss.

Thanks & Regards

I have purchased a Motorola A780 handset from Bhopal. It was working fine, but after 3 months the charger stopped working and I went to my nearest Motorola authorized center in zone-II, M.P. Nagar Bhopal. There i told my problem but the people there told me that there is a fault in my phone not in the charger. But I told them the charger is not working, I have tested my phone with another charger and my phone gets charged from it, but not from this charger. They ask me to leave the phone with them for a week so they can analyze the problem and repair it. When I went back to them after a week, the problem of charger was still there and more over the light of the keypad and camera was also not working. They returned me the phone and told me that its a case of a physical damage and this clause is not covered in the warranty and so I want the phone to get repaired I have to pay for that.

I had bought Motorolla C350 mobile in year 2003. Now i need to change its battery. Even after 2 months of waiting, the service center (Trivandrum) isn't able to provide the battery. Their response - this model is stopped by motorolla, and spares not available - looks totally pathetic. Technology is changing rapidly, but is that an excuse to leave the poor customers, at the mercy of the unilateral change of models by the company.

I purchased Motorola Razr V3i on 4th December 2007 at around 8.30 pm and within 24 hours (on 5th December 2007 around 4.30 pm) its flip screen display stopped functioning.

The shopkeeper tells me that I applied pressure on it or mishandled it, which is absolutely out of question (after all who wouldn't handle it properly for even a single day!)

He refused to replace the cellphone.
(NOTE- Nokia has a policy of replacement in case of any complaint within 48 hours of purchase).

If this is the quality of the product that without any mishandling or mistreatment, phone displays keep getting faulty then what do we expect from a company like Motorola?!

Absolutely pathetic quality and even poorer after-sales service.

I took this phone with much interest but have lost it all now, after this episode.

The small metal control buttons, which are located on the face of the Motorola MOTOSLVR L7c, falls off easily and is small enough for a child to swallow. On several different occasions, I have complained to both my cell phone courier, Verizon Wireless, and manufacture, Motorola, who both responded the same by offering to repair the phone instead of solving the main issue. Within the last 10 months, I've received three different Motorola MOTOSLVR L7c from Verizon Wireless, but the result remained the same, the small metal control buttons fell off on all three Motorola MOTOSLVR L7c. It seems as if the glue or substance used to hold these buttons is defective and even though I do not have any small children currently residing with me, I fear for the safety of all small children who may come in contact with these small metal pieces and ingested it.

I have the problem with th emenu screen as well. I have had my phone for not even two weeks. My sister tried sending me a video. I could not view the video. The screen went blank and all my options changed. I had mp3player on the left soft key and @metro on the right. they switched to personalize on the left and styles on the right. i found the @metro thing again it was just renamed something. But i haven't found the mp3player shortcut. However, before this happened i was not able to copy my mp3's and play them as ring tones and now i am able to. Wierd but better maybe?!? THE SOLUTION: GO TO YOUR MASTER RESET OPTION YOU WILL GET EVERYTHING BACK... TAKE OUT YOUR MEMORY CARD FIRST! IT IS LOCATED IN THE SETTINGS FOLDER THEN CHOOSE INITIAL SETUP. THE MASTER RESET OPTION IS THERE. you will not loose any of your photos or ring tones or anything. Good Luck People!

the sliver is retarted the main reason you cant play most files is bcuz it has to be mp3 format and you cant put videos onto your computer from your phone to do so you have to buy an mp3 converter or buy a bluetooth component for your computer i hate this phone as far as music!
you cant even download ringtones offline or anything!

Motorla has very very poor in customer care at least in India.

I have deposited the Cell phone to the Hotspots Retails Pvt Ltd. Noida Sector 18 for Repair & service my Motorola Mobile L6i on 24th April 2008. Mobile is in warranty.( I purchased on 24 June 2007)

Neither they have returned the repaired mobile, nor they are providing me the alternate handset to me till they repair the my mobile.

In reply they are saying that they sent the set to their Head office but not providing the head office details.

Its sure I will not buy any Motorola Hand set in my life time due to the poor customer care. and dont reccomond to others to buy.

Hi,

I bought MOTOROKR E6 mobile phone 6months back and I still have the warranty left with me. But saddest part is from the 3rd month 'm facing the problems. When I approached the mobile show room from where I purchased this mobile, they just simply said we cant do any thing and you need to go to the service center. I went to the service center at Himayath Nagar, Hyderabad, they said we have to format your mobile, but for that you need to sign on the form that we wont be responsible if something happens to the mobile while formatting.

I asked, if this is the case why are you guyz here and why did you give me this warranty. Then they say, earlier we've formatted somebody's mobile which was also having the same problem, but unfortunately that mobile has struck in the middle and it has got spoild, and in that case we only had to give him the new mobile and we didnt get any reembersment from the motorola company.

The Problem with my mobile is: It suddenly gets switched off and the screen becomes completely red in color.

Please, kindly do something and take a quick action. I am facing this problem from the past 3months and nobody is taking the responsibility. Neither they are helping too.. I am really not satisfied with your customer care and the product.

I am really tired of emailing and approaching your showroom, service centers again and again. If this time the corrective measures are not taken then I'll deffinately take this issue to the consumer forum, and all the blogs, email service providers and various consumer forums.

Anticipating your reply...

Thanks
Vijay

I unfortunately purchased a motorola v3233i phone last August and have had nothing but trouble from it. I sent it back for warranty service once in December and it appeared to be ok for a while and then began functioning strangely again. It would shut off on its own, switch settings for ring or vibrate and in the end, if stopped being able to charge, at which point I sent it back (in june). I got it back today from motorola service and the refused to honor the warranty saying it had been burned, which it never was. This is unbelievable that a company can get away with this and I will never buy a motorola product again! I will also do my best to share this with others on the web so they dont make the same mistake choosing a motorola phone!

I was a patron of Motorola mobile handsets and had a very good opinion about your services and company. But I am forced to change my opinion now, due to my sad experience of being cheated by your company services.
I had purchased a Motorola V-3, Universe handset (MSN No D54WGC4528, IMEI No. [protected]) on 15/4/2006 from Shri Jain Telecom, Gopinath Bazar, Delhi Cantt. I had also got the original bill and the warranty card along with the set. The handset started giving trouble immediately after it was purchased in that the calls were randomly getting disconnected and my voice was not properly audible to the person I was speaking to. I had to redial number of times to complete any conversation and also had to keep the mic part as close to mouth as possible for the person to hear my voice.
As the mobile was in warranty period, I took it to your auth service centre in Delhi. Initially they repaired it and gave it back stating that it was a minor fault and it was rectified. But within a week the same problem started again. The service centre repaired it again several times but the problem persisted. They kept the mobile with them and said that this was a problem with the software and the same is being changed. Later within some months of purchase of handset, owing to my profession, I was posted to a remote area in J&K where I did not require a mobile as no network existed there, hence the mobile was not used further.
I was then posted to Amritsar in Nov 07 and started using the mobile around a month back. I again experienced same problem in using the handset. The handset was taken to your auth service centre here on Lawrence road for repair. I was shocked to hear from the service centre that many parts have been changed in my mobile and duplicate parts have been fitted. According to them PCB, IME, Software and Battery of my mobile has been replaced with duplicate parts. I had not given this mobile to any person except your auth service centre in Delhi for repairs. This proved that they had taken out the original parts and replaced them with duplicates.
Your auth customer care in Delhi, firstly could not repair the mobile and secondly also cheated me. I am deeply hurt and shocked by this incident. After this incident I am forced to seriously doubt your company’s service centres and its credibility. I would request you to look into this matter seriously and provide me with a solution. I had taken the latest set of your company available at that point of time and expected that buying a set of the renowned company as that of yours would enable me to use it for a considerable period of time. However, the mobile could not give me satisfactory service even for few days. I am sure that the details of the repairs carried out are existing in your data base and as also few complaints that I had made in this respect over a period of time.
You will agree that this incident has caused mental agony as well as financial loss to me and the response by your company services and impression left on a customer can't make any company, leave aside an established one like yours, proud.

Hi, I brought Motorola L9 on 6th of march 2008 and in the month of july phone stopped working properaly meanse Problem in hardweare, software, battery and other stuff I m really distrub. And Then I find service station of Motorola at Green park, New Delhi name of service station is REDINGTON(INDIA) LTD, S-3, Green Park extn, New Delhi-110016, Tel-011-[protected].

I give it them my cell phone and tell them about all problem which I was facing with phone L9 I submitted theire my phone on dated 5th of July. They told me to come on 8th of July and my phone will be ready on 8th july itself but when I Reach theire service center on 8th july that fellow there told me still my cell phone is not ready bcse some part was not come from Chennai and then they told me to come on 12th of julyI told them plz make it ready on 12th they assured me that it will be ready upto 12th of July. When I went there shop on 12th of july they told me still the part is not come I was really angry and dont understand what to do at that time I speak with them and told that it is not possiable for me to come agained and agained plz give it to me as soon as possiable. Then That guy told me he will definetly make it ready on 16th of July but agained when I reach theire on 16th my cell phone is not ready I harshly told them that manager of service centere told me he had not got part from Malesiya and he has problem from back side It is not my fault that he has problem. Motorola is making so much Waiting time fro customer definetly they will out of business one day. why I purchased Motorola Cell phone because Motorola Was the first company who inovated and made cell phone in world market and still company no where stand in front of Nokia, LG, samsung or I can say that Motoro;a is not anywhere in front of Chinese Handsate manufacturer. Chinese Manufacturer are far better that Motorola about service. Motorola Is sucking the blood of consumer I invite the company to suck the blood of consumer directly not indirectly. this type of services motorola to consumer it is not gud for comapany because For motorola There are many dissatified consumer and they can eassily capable to send motorola out of market.

Friend who are not satisfied with motorola services plz we formed a group and do Anti-motorola campaign. As a student of Marketing I have gud strategies.

Motorola has got some excellent products but the after sales service is pathetic. I bought a Motorola E6 in July 2007. In june2008 the phone was not getting charged and used my friends battery and it was working. I went to the UCOM Technologies which is the authorised dealer for motorola and was shocked with the kind of service i got. They just bluntly said that the phone has to be sent to L3 for three weeks and said that there is no guarnatee at all. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the Executive and said that because of the bad service most of the customers are opting out of Motorola. The Executive bluntly said the high end products of Motorola are bad. I was shocked to hear this and bought a new battery from outside. I even complained this to the Hyderabad motorola product manager and he said that he would call me back and its been 12 days now that i haven't got any response. I am an extremely dissatisfied Motorola Customer. I would never ever in my life buy or recommend Motorola products.

I Have a Motorola l7, the keypad got completely damaged & Battery back-up also got reduced, So I have requested for a New keypad & Battery.
Even after 10 days the service centre person is not able to reply me the status when it will be dispatched from the factory.
I wonder motorola people are so very childish in doing business; Man if your spares are not easily awailable in the market who shall take the pain to keep your handsets which in any manner are not superior than Nokia LG & Samsung.

Phones are ok, but service is big **it & service centre people are the biggest A** Holes.

I have purchased Motorola W375 mobile 5 months back. It has fallen down while driving and broken in to two parts. When given to repair the servicing people told that the housing of both sides will be replaced. But they have taken two months and told when asked that the spare parts yet to come from factory. This is how the Motorola company doing fraud business with customers.

i agree with u all. motorola cellphone service is very very poor. they are kind of shameless people. i bought MotorKRZR-K1 on 7 Nov, 07 and just after one month bluetooth stopped working. i deposited my handset at Ranchi motorola service centre(UCOM TECHNOLOGIES, Ranchi- Work order no. 15064) on 28 June 08. I was promised that the problem would be fixed in 1 week. However after 30 days with lot of following up a stand-by set was given. This standby set itself is faulty and its speaker volume is very low and cannot be used for regular usage. From now on whenever i call them to ask about the status, they simply say that ask after two days or three days. They even say that the spare parts of this model is not available hence cannot be repaired. If that is the case, they should replace the phone. It is almost going to be 2 months and Now i am planning to file a case against them in consumer court now. I am arranging the necessary papers.

i have a motorola w270 mobile i bought it in may 2008, it has been in service for three months now.I have surrendered it for service 4 times til date. but i am still experiencing the same problem.

REDINGTON INDIA provides "terrible" service. just like mr.shankar prasad mohanty iam afraid i am also trying to take this seriously and do something about it.

its so disheartening and alarming that india has such poor consumer forum laws, if it were the USA i swear that this company would have gone to dogs.

such terrible behaviour with the customers and its annoying when they give you an outrageous answer saying "do wht u can" with it.

i think we should do this together.

Motorola's MotoRazr V3xx has a ONE-TIME ONLY audible notification of a received text message or voicemail. What good is that? My former Samsung phone continually notified, every 5 minutes, until the message was attended. I emailed Motorola and they emailed back (paraphrased), "Sorry, only one time is what you get." I re-emailed and suggested a software update (maybe I should have used the word "firmware"). Never received a response.
