Seemed like a great way of dealing with such transactions, but it's just a terrible experience overall. Eventually you're going to have problems either with service or the product.
Let's get into it.
I found an account for a mobile fighting game that offered a lot of value for the price. I made a purchase via the Credit Card option and the balance was deducted from my bank. It took 4 DAYS for the 3 way conversation to be open, and I completed the transaction with the buyer, who seemed legit, but turns out was a scam as the account seems to be modified or deleted, and he had other linked methods that he emphasized he couldn't access, but did. Even went silent on Facebook.
I opened an urgent support ticket on the 4th of March, hoping I'd get Middleman support ASAP and get a refund but had no response. Contacted Telegram support the next day, and was told to wait. I kept updating the ticket with more info and screenshots until the 10th, where I still had no response. Sent a message to support on the 15TH! Had no response till the 18th where I was told "the team was notified to update you on this." Got a response on the 20th onsite, and told the Middleman I want the order cancelled. Even to this day...nothing.
A simple response would do, instead of radio silence. It just gives yall a further bad look. Hopefully I get an update.
The service is simply horrible with very questionable sellers, breeding a culture of scams. The fact that people have to beg for these people to do the bare minimum and wait AGES for service is unacceptable. Even if you get lucky, the majority isn't.
Desired outcome: Get a refund through the payment method I used or PayPal ASAP

Got a response from the Middleman asking to re-upload screenshots I had provided before, showing failure of the Facebook error. Will update if the problem actually gets resolved and I gwt refunded.
