QLinkWireless Review: Safelink Wireless vs. Qlink Wireless - Which is the Better Option?

All you need to do is go to their website, fill out the application, and wait for the phone to be shipped to you. Additionally, Safelink Wireless has excellent customer service, which is always willing to assist customers in case they have issues with their phones. So, if you have been having a problem with Qlink Wireless, it might be worthwhile to check out Safelink Wireless as your next option. While we still cannot confirm whether Qlink Wireless is a legitimate phone provider, given the customer's experience, it is advisable to proceed with caution.

QLinkWireless Q-Link Phone Review: Issues with Call Reception, Number Switching, and Customer Support

I have had my Q-Link phone for several months now and I have not received any calls on it since I also have another phone where I receive calls. Recently, I decided to switch my Straight Talk number to the Q-Link phone to save $35 a month. However, when I did this, I faced several issues. For three days, I had no connection to Straight Talk, and my phone was no longer active. Although I could still use it with my number, it had not swapped over to the Q-Link phone yet. After three days, the number finally switched, but I could not receive any calls.

When I reached out to Q-Link, they were not able to explain the issue, and I was asked to update the software on my phone. I followed the steps to update the software, but nothing changed. I was then advised to call Tech Support, but they were already closed for the weekend. When I finally spoke to Tech Support, they also asked me to follow the same steps again. However, even that did not help, and I could still not receive calls.

In an effort to fix the problem, I got an app called TextNow, which allowed me to receive calls when I was connected to the internet. I forwarded my number to the TextNow number and could finally receive the calls. However, even after 10 days, Q-Link was unable to explain why I could not receive calls.

When I tried to switch my number back to a free Straight Talk phone, Q-Link kept saying I had the wrong PIN and password. I had written them down when I first made my Q-Link account, but they were still not accepted. After several failed attempts to explain my situation to Straight Talk, I decided to resubmit my application for a new number. However, my PIN did not go through as I had already tried and failed to use it once before.

Ultimately, I paid about $70 instead of $35 for my phone usage, as I was desperate to exit the mess that Q-Link had put me in. Even though I did not get what I wanted, I finally have a working number with no issues attached to it.

QLinkWireless Poor Customer Service: My Frustrating Experience with QLink Phone Services

I recently signed my grandmother up for QLink phone services and while the enrollment process went smoothly, I soon discovered some major issues with the company's customer service. Firstly, upon checking the delivery of a Sim Card Kit, I found that my grandmother had been de-enrolled from the program. This was confusing as nothing had changed, but after attempting to contact QLink customer service, I found myself stuck in an endless loop of automated options with no way to speak to a live agent.

Despite making several phone calls and sending messages through their website, I was unable to contact anyone from the company. After contacting the PUC and Texas Lifeline, I found out that my grandmother had two accounts with QLink: one that had been de-enrolled due to a missing number, and one that had been enrolled just two days before. This was frustrating and confusing, as I had been unable to speak to anyone from QLink to resolve the issue.

Even after receiving an email from QLink promising to connect me with a live agent, I was still unable to get through to anyone. Frustrated and determined to resolve the issue, I researched the owner of QLink, Issa Asad, and found a number for him. While I have had positive experiences in contacting the CEOs of major companies in the past, I was disappointed to find that Asad was rude, dismissive, and showed no empathy for the issues I had been facing due to his company's errors.

After finally being connected with a customer service agent, I found her to be just as rude and unhelpful as Asad. Despite my attempts to resolve the issue and find a solution, she simply told me that my grandmother was de-enrolled and did not have services through QLink. This was in direct conflict with the information I had received from Texas Lifeline, which showed that my grandmother had an active account with the company.

Overall, I found QLink's customer service to be dismissive, unhelpful, and frustrating. While I understand that these companies may not make a lot of money from government phone programs, I believe that customers deserve better treatment and a higher level of service. If you have issues with QLink, my recommendation is to open an investigation or request help from the Lifeline program in your state.
