Meijer - check out (cashier)

I shopped at Meijer 10/10/23 and Misty (cashier) rang me out... I usually check my bill prior to leaving the store due to the number of price mistakes on it. This time, I didn't. I am thankful I did not throw the bill away along with the other things upon coming home. I had put it in my purse and so still had the bill.

Misty has 99.99 for 1 tangerine on this bill. At the store, I was consumed with registering for Mperks etc at the checkout and of course she was ringing up items while I was doing that. In cleaning out my purse today, I saw the error.

That meant a "special" trip to the store and the Mgr was very cavalier about it and said she would give me $5 for my trouble. She was not sincere and very nonconsuming. I had no business other than that to do at the store, so yes, it was a special trip for me from home. I was not impressed by this Manager and also Misty. Been a long time shopper at Meijer...years! Too bad the people working there are so below par.

Desired outcome: I believe my special trip there and back should have been worth a little more than $5 for one thing. Expected a sincere apology from the Mgr. That was a huge mistake andI hadn't thrown the bill away because how could I prove it then?

Meijer - cashier / mutaz

Tuesday 10-1-19/ 19:26:57 / Op: 2276024 Mutaz.

While checking out; the cashier coughed in my face several times.
When I brought the fact that he was coughing in face to his attention he tried to ignore me. After he realized that I was not going to let the issue go; he gave an unsincere apology.

My Perks card number is [protected]. Check my card to see how often I shop at your store and the amount of money I spend each visit.

I have gotten pass the selective greetings by the greeters at the door; but I will not turn a blind eye to rude and nasty cashiers.

I usually use the self check to avoid this type of interaction; but today I had more then 20 items.

I would pay higher prices at Giant Eagle if my patronage is not valued at Meijer.
