Today was our 46th anniversary which we advised the greet staff without any acknowledgement. Quite unexpectedly they chose to seat us by the bar (we don't drink). The restaurant was not full. We have been patronizing Olive Garden for over 20 years. Normally we go for our Anniversary dinner at Taste of Texas restaurant. Because of time constraints we decided on Olive Garden. First the diners before us left a piece of bread crust on the table which sat beside my water glass without notice. Second. the food tasted stale and warmed over. The salad was really good. Our server was polite and friendly as well as prompt. She was the highlight of our experience. If this had been our first experience at Olive Garden it would also be our last.
Desired outcome: A refund of $65.00 or voucher for free meal (s).
