My wife's father took gravely ill two days before our scheduled departure. She took his final instructions at his bedside in hospital. He remains in ICU and is unlikely to survive with one kidney shrivelled and the other barely functioning. X-Cover said because he didn't die within 23 days of our planned departure our claim for a refund on the holiday was declined. Gee - we're sorry X-cover that he didn't die quickly. Another insurance company with no heart. Don't touch them!
Furthermore - they do not have any phone / customer service communications. You can send an email but they are essentially faceless.
