I would first like to say that I find it incredibly disheartening to even have to write this review - but given the circumstances, I truly believe that future dog owners should understand and be prepared for what they could be dealing with from Tiffany and her business.

I got my dog Fitz in June 2020 from Tiffany, and her and her husband were both welcoming, friendly and helpful. At 5 months old Fitz had a large tumor begin to grow in his mouth, months later, for the cost of nearly $2, 000 I had to have it remove for testing.

At that time, my father, who paid for Fitz as a present to me - reached out to Tiffany and never got any reply. Not a single word. While financial assistance would have been nice and something many breeders provide in circumstances like these, that is not what we were looking for. It was primarily to ask her if there were any previous cases that would help give insight to his medical situation - and to inform her that because it was a possible genetic issue - that it may be something she wants to look into in order to take care of her puppies in future litters and future customers.

We never heard back from her. A few months after my Dad's unanswered call for help - Autumn's Elite Doodles started back, liking and commenting on Facebook posts and Instagram stories about Fitz and his happy life. Knowing that those stories are seen and responded to when times are good, makes it even more disheartening and unprofessional when times are bad.

Now, Fitz is 18 months old. He is going back for a second surgery next week to treat an aggressively growing tumor in his mouth. This operation will cost me approximately $5, 000 according to the veterinary hospital. I have posted on social medias and called Tiffany directly on her cell phone TWICE, with no response... again.

Knowing that she has the information and does not care enough as a person to at least check in on puppies she brought into the world, and as a business owner to at the very least look into the situation for the health of future litters - I find incredibly alarming, unprofessional, and worthy of this review.

My puppy is an angel, and outside this is perfectly healthy. I have had friends recommend Autumn's Elite to me and their dogs are fine. That said, I have had this incredibly expensive, hurtful, and helpless experience with Tiffany and think it is only right that future customers know this is a possible experience they could encounter as well.

In the spirit of good communication, I also left Tiffany a voicemail expressing my concerns, frustrations and disbelief at the lack of response - and informed her I would be leaving poor reviews online out of concern for future pet owners. As of now, I have also heard nothing back from that voicemail.

Desired outcome: At this point, I do request financial assistance from Autumn's Elite Doodles.

Here is a photo of Fitz's first tumor removed at the age of 8 months old. For comparison it is almost the exact measurements of my pinky finger and it was located inside his mouth. His second is bigger and more aggressive, and because it is an open wound inside of his mouth I am unable to share photos at this time.

The breeder contacted me shortly after the reviews I left. She has since reimbursed me for the adoption fee, and offered (in the event that my puppy does not make it) a puppy from the next litter free of charge. She was very apologetic and explained that she was unaware of what was going on because she generally checks her voicemail and phone calls less than email and texts. While it is not okay to only respond to select forms of communication for a business, I do believe she genuinely was apologetic for the situation and her role in not assisting sooner. This complaint should be resolved for that reason. Thank you.
