I recieved a phone call from this man who has a very thick indian or pakistani accent and went by the name: robert jones. He's stated that he's calling from a law firm for cash net and threatened me with a criminal prosecution, telling me that i have a payday loan that is unpaid. Ok, first of all, i do have a payday loan that was unpaid, so i did my research and found out that i do not own any money from any cash net payday loans, but in a different company. Note: there is only one cash net.. Which is cashnetusa so the other cash net is illegal!
Anyway, he was harrassing me and telling me that there will be a sheriff that will be going to my house or work place to give me warrant of arrest and i would need at least $5000 to solve this issue. He told me that if i don't want to pay that, i mind as well pay him 1, 295. 00 for not paying the $300. 00 loan that i laoned to this company.
So, i did my online research and called ftc and reported them what happened. I gave them the fax number that he gave me.
After a week, he called me back again and i asked him what the company name was and the address with the phone number, but "robert jone'" insisted in giving out information, he was rude to me and told me to shut up and listen to him! How dare! So i told him to stop calling me and stop the scams, then he hung up on me. ! He left a voicemail at work and gave me a call back number which is: [protected], i tried calling this number but the line was busy or an operator that says: your call did not go through.
People! Pls beware if a person with a thick indian or pakistani accent calls you with the name robert jones, stating that he's from a law office and threathening you with all this b. S! (Because educated people who works at a law firm will never speak to someone like that!) contact the federal trade commision immediately!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I received and email stating I owe $615 or they would come to my job and I'd be black listed from any other job. Is this a scam as well. The address is Cash Net Us.
I had been trying to get an installment loan for weeks only to be turned down because of my credit. These predators contacted me after i tried cashnet.They had me confirm all my bank and personal information which they had. I'm not so Internet savy and thought still this was legit. Robert Jones Derrick and other fake names were used by men of Indian nationally started to contact me. After they put 200 dollars in my bank account i was told to send them the money back to them with a i tune gift card which I did. Then they would be able to fix my credit then they would send me 2000 dollars to my account and i would pay a hundred dollars a month for 12 months and I will be ok after my bank caught the scam they shut down my online banking which I only had just to get the loan I'm old school but this new age technology is just confusing i would like to meet these men and put on some boxing gloves and have at it. People they are also in NY state. Phone number [protected]/[protected] these people should be charged and deported immediately ^#!#%:&&^#$!/!
I would like to know if cashnet .com is they running a scam on me and my husband we both give these people. Our. Information.and they told my husband.
That his money. Will be in his account. Tomorrow.
My wife got an email from cash net debt solutions. Same attempt to get money from her. She freaked out. She called me hysterical. She forwarded me the email and I laughed out loud. I work for a state owned organization and computer security and fraudulent email address recognition is part of our training. I recognized the fraudulent email address immediately. My state training paid off. Folks, if you get a threat of being arrested you will have received a summons for court from your local court clerk. You would have received a certified letter from said court with a summons to appear and have your day in court. Not by email or phone, as it is unlawful and against you Constitutional right to know your accuser. So, tell these foreign [censor] faces to get bent and the police will be contacting them.(mention CYBER CRIMES unit, they hate that. I love it.)
