I purchased a (defective mp3 player unbeknownst to me at the time) around black friday of 2009. The transaction was made online, K-Mart.com. Recently the the unit stopped powering on, so I called product support (Coby Electronics)product support advised me to take it to ANY K-Mart, so I went to Mantua NJ store. I was told by customer care that it wasn't their (K-Marts) responsilbility because it was a web based purchase you have ti=o return it to the Manufacter.Now I'm pissed! So I call Coby Elec. and their customer care(LESS) rep. say's "That model is defective, but it's out of warranty, so I don't know what you're gonna do with it"! So I don't know what my options are...I thought that when you make a n admission about a defective product I thought that they company would have to make good on the purchase! I guess not after their response.
