Giant scam artists! Bought deal on LivingSocial, they show up and say that I needed to give them another $100 if I wanted to get my carpets cleaned. Told me that the coupons they sell don't actually cover doing any work, they always need more money to do actual work. They are very good at lying! Said that more money was in the fine print, but that was a lie also. The creepy guy drives up in a creepy van.
Groupon and LivingSocial are spaces that are new to us. DMI has been in business for over 30 years. Over 95% of our customer base is commercial. Since it has been brought to our attention that we have a review on this platform, we are now responding accordingly.
We love pets! However, Groupon is a coupon. Like all coupons, there are limitations to what one can get or what is being offered. More than 95% of negative feedback has to do with pet urine or feces. Oftentimes customers become acclimated to these odors or contaminants, therefore not realizing the effect it can have on others. To ask us, or any cleaning company, to remove saturated pet urine, feces and sometimes even vomit from the carpet without neutralizing it first is just not fair to our technicians nor our company; when a basic Steam carpet cleaning coupon was purchased and not a decontamination service.
