My Mom bought an outside unit for her house on [protected]. The unit has had a failure in the connection of Copper to Aluminum lines. This unit is still under factory warranty. We have been trying to get Ecomfort.com to honor the warranty. They are dodging us at every opportunity. We have already gotten an HVAC company to come and verify. But Ecomfort.com won't correspond with them. They will only send an Email every other day or so. My Mom is 82 years old and on Oxygen. She can argue with them, or jump through hoops. This unit also falls under the Coppercoilsettlement.com matter. There has already been a class action settlement. But still Ecomfort.com will do nothing but dodge the issue. Our only recourse is to dispute the charge with Discover and let the family attorney handle the situation. That is a shame when a couple of simple phone calls would have settled the matter in minutes. Mike @ Ecomfort.com specifically is the one giving us the runaround. I would advise folks not to do business with Ecomfort.com. It just isn't worth the hassle.
