I had applied for an eLife additional setup box with etisalat on October 20, 2012. After 20 days etisalat failed to complete the job. I have the fibre cable installed in my apartment. My current landline and ADSL is working on the same. I have been chasing etisalat for the past four months and calling 101 but of no use. The customer service department informed me you pending request opened since January 2012 first it will be closed then you can request further. I talked to technical department daily they assure me today it will be resolved but till no use. They are least bothered to even update their records and confirm what is holding back to complete the request. I have been asking 101 to at least let me know what the issue is but have not received a reply. No one from etisalat had the courtesy to call me and update me on it. 101 said they have cancelled the request and will reschedule the work order again. But it has been 15 days now and the work order has not been rescheduled. Etisalat portrays itself through advertisements as being very customer friendly but it is exactly the opposite. I would appreciate if this can be taken up with etisalat and see if they are really customer focused as they claim to be.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
