Shirly Ellis 6201 Thornberry Cres., Unit 6283-Windsor, ON

Enercare Account #: [protected] Owner of above captioned condo.

In late fall of 2015 I had a rental hot water tank installed in my unit -noted above.

I paid $16.75 a month until September 2020, when suddenly my payments showed up as credits. I thought I might have double [aid for a few months so didn't give it much thought.

Finally, in June 2021, my account showed a $67.55 credit. I was planning to sell my condo so I called to try and get things straightened out.

When I called Enercare, they told me my landlord had called and said he'd be paying for the hot water tank from August 2020 forward.

I advised Enercare that there was no landlord, and that I had owned the unit since 2008, and that I had not requested any changes.

Discussions with Enercare and the condo property manager, revealed the owner of the next door unit # 6285--Faris Shomou had called Enercare and requested that as landlord---and he gave my unit number in error rather than his unit number--he wanted to pay for the hot water tank rental of u it 6283--(my unit instead of unit 6285--as he was including it in the rent.

As a result, since September 2020 todate, he's been paying for the hot water tank rental in unit 6283.

Every few weeks, since June 2021, I called Enercare, explained things and tried to get it sorted out. Everyone said they'd get it fixed, but it had to finish the current billing cycle. They escalated it several times under incident number [protected]---still nothing happened.

I got the property manager of the condo involved, who contacted Mr. Shomou.

Encercare advised me he called and corrected the unit # and enercare was to credit him what he'd paid on my account and they would bill back what was owing less my $67.55 credit.

I just went into my Enercare account March 11, 2022 and it still shows a credit of $67.55.

On October 5th 2021, I sold the condo. I requested they cancel my account, but have no response.

I even suggested they send my my credit, tell me how much the owner of 6285 has paid and I would etransfer him the money. No response.

Desired outcome: I want the account cancelled. I no longer want to be responsible for it. The new owners need to be registered as unit owners and responsible for rental of hot water tank costs.
