I have worked for Jessica Williams/JessClenz, LLC since May 3, 2018. I did not receive pay stubs until November 2018. During that time, I filed a Chapter 13 bankruptcy. Payroll deductions for my Chapter 13 bankruptcy were supposed to $90 biweekly. According to the check stubs, the $90 payments were deducted from my check. However, I was notified by mail from the trustee a month later, that there is a motion to dismiss my case due to nonpayment. When I brought this to Jessica's attention, she informed that she'd found out that her accountant was stealing money from the company, which is why my money was not being sent to the bankruptcy trustee. I was told and reassured by Jessica Williams that I'd be reimbursed the amount of my chapter 13 bankruptcy payments. It is now almost two months later, June 2019, and I still have not received the money stolen from me as promised. I have been patient, even after my last two paychecks have been returned due to insufficient funds. My next step is to sue Ms. Williams in small claims court for the money that is owed to me.
