I have been a member of Legal Shield for 2+ years living in Arizona. The only legal team they have contracted with in this state is Miles Davis McQuire and Gardner. Membership #[protected]
I have had several issues with Miles Davis law firm. I had the following issues with their attorneys: 1) I was denied unemployment and their attorney advised me not to appeal, because 'no one wins appeals'. Against his advice, I appealed and won. 2) Case AZ-RNC-SXP involved a doctor who slandered me and I was told by their attorney Luke Finch he could not write a 'Cease and Desist' letter for me. Another attorney outside the Miles et all firm advised he would be happy to write a Cease and Desist letter for me. 3) Case AZ-VMJ-8MT concerned being slandered by an AZ judge in a trial transcript. Attorney Finch said I would have to contact the AZ Bar Association to find out where to file a complaint against the judge. 4) Case AZ-FTE-HCW: A employer breached a contract I had with them. This case was originally referred to attorn Sergio Campa, who made an inappropriate sexual remark during the consult. I reported this and I was contact by a Supervisor Erin Murdoch, who said they listened to the recorded conversation, agreed it was inappropriate and Campa was removed from the case. I was then assigned a second attorney, Amy Tilchen, who didn't return my call after I spoke with her and sent her documents. I received a call from attorney Luke Finch, who had been assigned the case (3) above, about the slander by a judge and case (2) above, the doctor slandering me. Attorney Finch brought up the case (4) above, concerning a breach of contract, which attorney Tilchen had been assigned to. He hadn't read any of my documents and knew nothing about the case. I told him I would contact Attorney Tilchen because he did not have any idea what the case was about. Later than day, I received via e-mail, a termination letter (attached) from the Miles Davis 'supervising attorney' Ronald L. Jones (attached) where he stated "We regret to inform you that we are unable to advise you further with regard to any of your legal matters. In our professional opinion, we are not able to continue an attorney-client relationship." I see no justification for termination.
I want a refund of all the monthly statements I ever made to Legal Shield OR re-instatement of my membership and a consult with an attorney who acts mature concerning my last outstanding case AZ-FTE-HCW and the free will/trust/estate advice I was promised.
