Marina Hwee took our money for a supposed email marketing campaign. When she didn't deliver the campaign as promised, I and my three partners requested our money back. Not only did she deny my request, but actually hung up on me when I confronted her on the phone with her own ineptness. She then tried to coerce me and my partners with this bogus non-disclosure letter that said she would refund our money if we would: withdraw all our complaints from any online websites and the California Attorney General's office, notify her when the complaints were withdrawn, and provide a notarized copy of each client's driver's license. We all declined her "non-disclosure" agreement. We paid for services that were not delivered. We were due a refund and she knew it. When is the last time a company or merchant asked you to sign a non-disclosure to refund your money for a product or service that was not delivered? What an idiot.
By the way, she and her company have an "F" rating with the California BBB, and when I last contacted them in December 2008 they had 6 complaints against her, 5 of which were outstanding and unsatisfied. I added mine to the pile.
Do not do business with Marina Hwee, any of her company names, and be very cautious if you receive a call soliciting their services from a guy named Joe David. He must be in on the scam also because he did nothing about my complaint when I called to ask him what was going on. Buyer beware.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
