Mastec and DirecTV "fired" all and any advanced or senior techs to save money, typically, any way they could. The company is staffed with rude and inept/untrained people. The few trained techs are overwhelmed. For example, we have a multistory building and one of their techs decided to cut the ends off all the cables, which happened to be numbered. Now, in order to figure out which cable goes to which unit, they all have to be "re-toned", which is extra time and money. The very rude tech who just left didn't realize that he was not only talking to the property manager at this high end property, but also the Owner of the management company. There need to be options. I've been dealing with 9 years of Mastec drama, and I've had enough.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I would hate to be the guy who has to retone all the lines. Nothing like being yelled at by an entire building again.
