Randy Dalton is a piece of [censored]. We lived in a unit that when we started living there was managed by a different company. Within our first month of living there R and B Properties took over the 'duties' of managing the property. We gave him a list of several items that needed attention, nothing was ever done. We contacted them several times, each time they would send someone to 'look' at the items that needed attention, and each time they would make a new list. Then when we would follow up it was like they never had the list and started over. We had many health and safety concerns in the unit and none were ever address. Finally when enough was enough we left, and moved to another place.
Then they had the nerve to take us to the Landlord and Tenant Board for the remainder of rent for the lease. We showed up to the hearing on time, when Randy showed up he just assumed we had not and wasted half our day by going to the wrong room of the court. Once he worked out where he needed to be, we presented our defense and he since he was not prepared to discuss our diffence he said he wanted to adjourn for months. And that he had a lunch date to get to. I'm sorry but if you need to go to court you don't schedule a lunch.
Then he forgot to submit his availability to the Board, so the hearing was scheduled for a month later, he had to a certain day to submit his 'evidence' to us, they forgot to do this as well. The day after it was due to us they must have panicked and asked us to postpone the hearing. Obviously we said no, they had the audacity to take us to the board, then ask if we can postpone.
We then show up to the hearing again on time, only to find out they chickened out because they knew they were going to lose against all our evidence, they were supposed to tell us that they withdrew their 'complaint' but couldn't do that either.
Never rent from this [censored], he only cares about money and himself. The tenants, and the properties he 'manages' are the last thing on his mind. Property owners, don't trust your business in his hands, it's not worth it.
