Scit Scat Music Scott Katz Scammed me

Scott Katz of Scit Scat Music sold me music equipment. Lied about the price and delivery and was a complete dirtbag about the entire thing. Lying cheating and stealing is his practice apparently. Stay away from Scit Scat Music ebay seller. Bunch of nonsense. Waste of time.

Scit Scat Music The rep suddenly refused to provide the order thing

The company Scit Scat Music is real scam. I spoke with the rep, who agreed to provide the microphone with the discount. I transferred money already, but these jerks refused to deliver it. I was really upset and asked to return my money back, but the rep suddenly refused and started to avoid me. They are liars and scammers, and I want to find other deceived customers, who lost money. Please we need to stop this company and return our money. Post your comments.

Terrible experience with this company. Wouldn't recommend.

1. Double sold a guitar I had already purchased so had to wait for new stock.
2. They continued to list the guitar on eBay as being in stock - it wasn't!
3. To be fair they paid extra for delivery to expedite the guitar when it finally came in from their suppliers but it got held up at customs. I don't blame them for that but if they hadn't double sold the guitar in the first place it wouldn't have been late. As a result, a little girl was let down at Christmas.
4. They promised to write 'Christmas Gift' on the packaging to help shift it though - they didn't!
5. They promised at point of sale that they could swap metal strings for nylon. The guitar arrived with metal strings and it turns out it's not possible anyway so clearly they don't know their business. Either that or they told me lies to grab a sale. They totally denied that they would swap the strings but I have evidence that they sent the guitar on the understanding that the nylon strings were 'pre-installed'.
6. They promised that if the guitar did not arrive by Christmas they would refund but they didn't.
7. We complained about their performance to date and they said they would refund ONLY if we gave positive feedback. This is feedback extortion. I complained to eBay and they upheld my complaint.
8. This company makes promise after promise and doesn't stick by it and when you challenge them they get rude and they tell lie after lie and then accuse the buyer of lying. They seem to believe that if they say something, it is true, but completely ignore evidence to the contrary - and I have plenty of evidence that states the above points are factually accurate.

Also, in terms of the company's rebuttal - that's what Scott Katz always says- he claims the buyer is lying instead of manning up and addressing his mistakes. I know nothing about the previous complaints but my recent report is along the same lines.

I am writing from Scitscat Music Sales Team. I have no order from a Patricia King in my system. Please elaborate on what you ordered. Mike AL? What did you order, so I may review your transaction as well?... And Dave E.? Same for you. I find it hard to believe that all of this happened, when I am the Sales Manager. None of this happened, and this is all lies and scams.

We have contacted the BBB, scam report, and eBay regarding all of this.
This is about one disgruntled customer, who purchased something and wanted a refund after the fact. Yet, EBAY TOLD US NOT TO.

Scot Katz,

You are a cry baby. You keep calling me a liar and a thief just like you accuse all your other complaining customers. Instead of standing up like a man and facing your problems with customer complaints you run and hide like a little coward. To be more specific you finagle the ebay and paypal system to get what you want. And I will give you one thing, apparently your years of experience doing so has made your tactics a partial success. But these types of things always catch up to you in the end pal. You keep going on and on about the ebay offer system and you ignore the simple fact that:

You agreed to sell me a product for a specific price and RENEGED. Nothing else matters. So keep it up.

You can make all the accusations you want, and nothing is going to change the fact that after I made the complaint, you agreed to honor the agreed upon price by refunding the difference after I left you feedback(which is extortio and despite the fact that you had already lied by stating paypal makes it impossible to partially refund) . I left you the feedback you deserved and you ran and cried to ebay until they removed it. Good for you crybaby! Did you refund as agreed? No. For a second time you reneged on something you explicitely agreed to in writing. So as I told you previously. You can place the microphone right back up where all the other filth that comes out your little sewer of business.

Check out your own feedback. Interesting that you have so many "Liars" "Jerks" and "Thieves" for customers. I find that fascinating.

Scit Scat Scammer strikes again! Saw the other complaints on the internet about this guy Scot Katz. My item was damaged in transit and he accuses me of lying. Had to contact ebay in order to step in and deal with this guy. They told me his account is already red flagged and its only a matter of time before ebay trust and safety stops him for good. Bad business all around.
