During the course of my discussion with your good self, last Wednesday the 16th Dec.2009, you said that further delay is anticipated to take up any such work, other than verification of the existing–customers, as per Commissioner’s Directive. While no such public notification was in the media. The Citizen’s Charter of your departmental website states, deletion/additions of family card holder would be performed in a weeks time but I have been hanging around with your department on the subjective matter for couple of months by now, over verbal advice of your staff and hence this letter to place on record of my grievance, with the ration card issuing authority.
The duly filled in, signed prescribed forms, as per the departmental website is attached herewith for your doing the needful and oblige. Copy of my existing ration card for your ready reference is also enclosed.
Sd. Sd.
Sincerely yours,
Capt. Arun P.C. Mr. Ashok P.C. Dr.Chandran Peechulli

Call to my mobile [protected], from telephone 044-[protected] introducing as Administrative Officer Mylapore Zone Civil Supplies informing that he has told me to wait as verification work is going on, since last few months and my work for separate ration cards to my grown-up married sons living separately, is not denied asking me to come to his office and meet him. I told him is it because of todays T.O.I. PRESS News, stating 4 Lakhs Ration Cards
in Chennai City found bogus, giving bad image of his department. Reflecting upon the poor performance efficiency of the staff employed. Lacks the will and interest on the work assigned in public interest. Govt. staff enjoying 5 day week besides known to be indulging in part-time work, conducting chits, saree business, real-estate work etc distracted from main work function. What can the IAS officers at the helm of affairs do with such staff, to improve public service performance? orelse monitoring of the ration cards would be far efficient during this computerised age.
While in my case, it was so simple to have been attended as the very same number of people in the existing ration card to be bifurcated between two sons living separately, in two booklets. While I was turned-down saying verification work is on and other works are stopped unless the verification is over. Lacks overall transparency. Monitoring of the ration cards ought to be a routine regular and continuous process. All this, owing to wrong policies, procedural/ process delays.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
In Sivagangai-Dt, Vembattur-post, mulakulam-village.There is one tncsc paddy center. This paddy collection center is collecting the paddy in agriculture land to help agents.Agents are collecting the paddy with out cleaning. But poor farmers are waiting upto one month in the collection center. Here I did not know the TNCSC empty paddy (sacks) bags are in privates agents hands. So I hope necessary action will help the poor farmers. Thanks.
