When you Sign the contract. The salesman knows, that you're not going to get, the sign that you agreed on. It, s a scam! When you try to go after this Co. you'll have to go to calif. Hire an attorney there, and go to Calif. court It's nothing but a scam. If a salesman shoes up at your door, Call the LAW ... If he tries to leave get his lic.number off his vehicle. Then call the LAW. And file a report on this individual. There's so many people that has been scammed already. I just run into another guy today that they ripped off.

A Signtronix Sales rep showed up here yesterday trying to peddle thier LED sign for our window. A Quick google search while he went out to the car brought me to this and other forums warning of thier business practices. There high pressure sales tactics apparently haven't changed in years. Thank you for sharing.
While I agree that Signtronix uses some pressure tactics, I'm curious about the statement saying the customer wasn't going to get the sign. Signtronix manufactures and delivers the signs they sell, so what does this comment mean?
I'm curious about Travd77. I work for Signtronix, and I tell everyone I do business with the exact size and design thats going to be on the sign. Our graphic art department even sends the art work to the customer for approval via email. The customer has to check off on the art work before it even goes to production. What really happen? Did one of the factory reps make you mad? Or was there a misunderstanding on the size of the sign?
Dude from Carson. Watch me put a complaint on this site about your business. The guy who wrote the initial comment four years ago didn't want to pay for his sign as agreed and his credit score got tapped. Boo-hoo. So he went on line and wrote a nasty gram about a top rated company and the largest sign manufacturer in the world. People can say anything they want online and unfortunately there are people who can't separate the truth from the whining. I met with a lady yesterday who had a Signtronix sign she purchased in 1970 (It was Gulf at that time, but none-the-less the same company) - It still worked great and looked fantastic. Say what you want about the sales techniques, yes, we're traveling salesmen and we primarily work small towns that don't have sign companies. We provide a quality product on a lease basis that most small businesses can afford. Peddlers? Hardly. We're all independent business owners who happen to have a car for an office. FYI: I saved a guy $10, 000 on an LED message center the day before yesterday and nearly $35, 000 on a Message Center on Monday. Maybe you should have listened to what the guy had to say. You can't compete with the quality of our signs or our message centers but you can spend way too much for cheep crap produced by other sign companies. Signtronix has an excellent product and reputation. Don't believe everything you read on the Internet. It's just business.
To Mirango-- I just kicked two of your traveling salesmen out of my business yesterday after hearing their nonsense. Your sign cost $6000.00. I can purchase one on the internet for $2, 000.00. Same quality, same size. Don't give me the crap about yours being better quality, better brightness, etc. Why doesn't your website tell how many lumens your LEDs are? Because they're no better than anyone else's. Just a warning to you and the other peddlers from your company out there. I'll let you waste my time with your speil, and then won't buy your product. I figure if I waste your time, I'm protecting some of my other local business people from being scammed by you and your kind. And, by the way a few years ago I had one of your salesmen at one of my businesses and had to almost literally physically throw him out of my store. He got pissed at me for not buying after he gave me his sales pitch. Your high pressure doesn't work on everyone.
We leased a sign from signtronix a little over a month ago our business was struggling we didn't know how much longer we would be able to stay open the salesman was persistent and said to us this will increase your sales so you will be able to stay open and if something happens and you have to close you have 30 days to return the sign and the LED was supposed to come with the net book. When the sign arrived it didn't come with a netbook and I called the salesman and he told me that would be extra well he sold it with the netbook when he sold it to us then our business went under it did not help at all and they refuse to take the sign back and it is before the 30 days! We are trying everything to be able to give this sign back they keep telling us no that it will just go against our credit! This company is such a scam they will false advertise constantly just to make a sale!
Scam Alert: Allen Commercial Industries of Euless in Texas and Troy Allen the owner are scamming people. Very bad quality signs both in materials and workmanship.
Allen Commercial Industries and Troy Allen ripped us off. We order a sign from them. First it took them three times the amount of time they said it would take. Then once delivered the sign was very quality in workmanship and materials. We contacted Allen Commercial Industries and Troy Allen for a refund and Troy Allen the owber told us there will be no refund. After calling many times Allen Commercial Industries and Troy Allen told us that he will never issues a refund and our best way is to sue him.
