The videography company Connor Luke Simpson Films / Teej Films which is primarily known for producing a film, Fattopia (often stylized "𝗙𝗔𝗧-𝗧𝗢𝗣𝗜𝗔") Thomas Derby Community College in Crawley, has harassed me and other female friends in the filmmaking and creative industry.
Teej Films has also stolen our intellectual property without consent and refuses to apologize or do anything to rectify the situation. Connor Luke Simpson / Teej Films now claims to be producing a film called "The Dark Side of Fat Acceptance." Similar to their unethical, illegal actions when making FAT-TOPIA, they will apparently be selling media using photos from our social media accounts, as well as our intellectual property, with our explicit lack of consent.
In addition to stalking and harassment of female artists and filmmakers, the owner Connor and associates of Teej Films have also stolen our intellectual property and used photographs of us in his films without permission.
Despite repeated civil requests to stop his unethical behavior--stealing of intellectual property and harassment of women in our group--and polite warnings, Connor Luke Simpson has continued his harassment of us online. Connor has also employed several other accounts to send harassing messages to me and my female friends in the film industry.
Again, we have made civil requests to Teej Films/ Connor Luke Simpson Films to stop his disturbing online messages and immature behaviour, and he continues to stalk and harass us. They seem to search tags about self-love and female empowerment and then send harassing comments to individual women.
From reading Teej Film's replies to their continuous harassment of vulnerable women (many of them in recovery for eating disorder and/or who have attempted suicide), the reason for Teej Films' unprofessional bullying behavior seems to stem from the fact that the owner (Connor Luke Simpson) feels he was bullied in college. This may be related to his reasons for making Fattopia and The Dark Side of Fat Acceptance. (Fattopia seems to cast overweight people as bullies by nature, and Connor's online male fitness friends who join him in harassment of overweight people as bullied victims.)
Teej Films has used photos of unaware young girls in his films from their social media accounts without permission, and released those films on online platforms to make money. He has then played dumb about needing to get any kind of consent/clearance for these type of actions.
While promoting his student projects like Fat-topia, people running Teej Films accounts such as @realconnorluke (Connor himself) have also made hateful comments about trans men and women. @teejfilmsuk has informed women that they will be used in their upcoming films like The Dark Side of Fat Acceptance without permission, though to what degree Connor refuses to disclose.
It's Teej Films UK / Connor Luke Simpson Films's intention that we will deal with more of his behavior, as Connor continues his online harassment of art/film producers and hurtful comments to vulnerable individuals. A few have been informed by Connor or his male bodybuilding friends that more of our intellectual property and photos intended for private use are being used in an upcoming film titled The Dark Side Of Fat Acceptance, though to what degree has not been disclosed.
I am happy to remove this notice if Teej Films and their owner/associates:
1. IMMEDIATELY cease all online stalking/harassment and bullying activities, and unethical online behaviour
2. remove all intellectual property which they did not get consent for permanently from all online copies of Fattopia, The Dark Side of Fat Acceptance, their film(s)/videos; and:
3. publicly or privately apologize to each of the artists/women/overweight/trans*/vulnerable people their owner and associates have hurt and caused to lose sleep into over their vulgar, disturbing, and hurtful unsolicited comments.
Until they rectify their behavior I recommend anyone considering working with Teej Films UK or owner Connor Luke Simpson in the future consider these facts carefully before beginning a working relationship.
