Has general programs but I would recommend CCAC for a more well rounded education and approval. The school is only accredited through the national association and students truly need a school/university regional accreditation (traditional 4 year Pitt, Penn State, etc) to have a possibility of credits transferring. Some instructors are incredible but inside management in the corporate office can be double faced.

Anyone thinking about going to Triangle Tech Pittsburgh, Pa should rethink their decision. The Admissions Department is like a pack of Used car sales people that will tell you every lie in the book to get your money. The instructors are hit and miss. Some are very experienced in their feild, but some are horrible with little or no experience. Instructors come and go throughout the term. The instructor you begin with will more than likely not be there when you finish. If you felt that High School was strict with rules, you haven't seen anything compared to the way you will be treated at Triangle Tech. They definitley DO NOT treat you like an adult. Bottom line is that Triangle Tech is a JOKE. Save yourself the trouble and look at other schools.

Do not apply or attend Triangle Tech! I know the inner-workings of this FOR PROFIT SCHOOL ...and that's all they are out for...PROFIT! $32, 000 for an Assoociates Degree? Go to a real school of higher education where that school is proud of they are and have Professors who teach...not laid off factory workers who pose as Instructors.

I currently attend Triangle Tech for their maintenance electricity program and I can say... I've heard a lot of negative things about Triangle Tech. Where I'm at is the Pittsburgh campus and recently due to the questionable actions and verbal exchanges with colleagues and instructor's I've been given some serious thought upon my withdrawal from this school. Now there is a lot a could speak about from this school, but I'll be succinct. In the start of first term I felt like I was learning something useful and that I'd be able to get into a field where I'd be making a good competitive wage but that over time seemed outlandishly farfetched our instructor went on these fifteen to twenty five minute rants about his time in the steel mills and how he acquired this job, but sadly no one including myself paid attention and pieced together what he said which was basically he had graduated and they offered him a job and he took it I mean these instructors don't even have the proper credentials to do what they're doing yet they're still teaching upon slow entering second term one of the fourth term students had told me that he was offered three jobs two of which were ten dollars wage offers and the other a twelve dollar offer which he accepted under the employers response to a question that he had asked as to why he was being offered these close to minimum wage gigs their response was " it's because you don't have any experience in the field ", but what my first term instructor told us was the graduates leave here with about two years of field experience, according to that interviewer and others like him that is complete and utter hogwash. People keep telling others in their personal review is that the school is a waste of time and money from my few months attending this institution I can see what they mean.
