I originally applied for an Imagine mastercard in 2007 when i was 19 years old. I did not understand fully what i was getting into and now im 23 and still cannot get rid of this card! In 2008 Imagine cancelled my card and i did not make a payment. Imagine sold the account to Tribute and soon enough customer service agents from tribute were calling me trying to get me to pay the bill. Originally the credit limit was 300.00 and then it shot up to 500.00. Imagine mastercard told me that they would apply the over the limit fee to my creidt card and the limit would be 500.00 plus if i paid my bill on time they would increse my limit to 1, 000.00 well i paid my bill and they never sent me a new card. They sent me bills but never sent me a new card. After about a month they increased my limit to 1.000.00 then canceled my card 1 week later. My balance as of today is 924.00 and yesterday they said that they would match dollar for dollar whatever i paid up to 50% of the balance. When i called the customer service reps for the western union information they said that they would match my 225.00.when i went to moneytree to pay the bill the guy told me that this is not a company in his system and he cannot accept a payment becasue Imagine Mastercard/Compucredit is not a valid company in western unions system and that my account number does not match up with anything that they have on file! i called customer service back and the woman told me that it should work and she has no idea what is going on. Shen then told me to send a money order with my payment coupon and that they would match my 225.00 but i sent the payment yesterday and my bill is due on the 28th US mail with not reach it in time. She told me i have nothing to worry about but these people are clueless and scam artist. Please do not get this credit card.
