Willow River Farm review: Sick Australian Shepherd puppy

Please do not buy a dog from this place or Barb. I wish my younger self knew better to find a reputable breeder because it makes me sick to think about my experience.

I bought a Blue Merle Mini Aussie from Barb Wilson in April 2016. I'm skipping a lot of details but long story short, he almost died within the first 24 hours due to Parvovirus and the best Barb could do was to tell me to rub Pedialyte on his gums and give him back to her. She was a piece of work. Did not have his health in her best interest. He would have died before we made the 5hr drive and I was not taking him back to the sketchy, smelly house we picked him up at. No farm or other animals in sight, it was a corner lot house in a small town with a tiny yard. Again, my hindsight for being young and naive. Anyway. He survived, I love him to pieces but please please please do not support this person/operation. Not even close to a responsible breeder and while I don't have proof or first-hand experience of her other animals, it makes me sick to think about what their quality of life is probably like : (I wonder about the rest of the puppies from my dog's litter all the time and pray they made it and have good lives now.
