delivery car
Hello!
As a firsy thing i want to say that driver was ok. The way he was driving was completely good! Only thing is emission from exhaust. Please have a look on attached video. When the car is pulling of from traffic lights there is a lot of black fumes coming out from exhaust underneath the cabin which is unacceptable for car with plates 66!
Thank you!
Hope you will sort this out asap!
glasses
Dear Asda Executive Relations, Asda Executive Relations,
Registered email address : [protected]@outlook.com,
I am writing to you to raise an issue about Online & Mail Order at Asda Direct on February 22nd, 2017.
I have had numerous occasions where my glasses were broken. On each occasion I still had the current lenses it was just the frames that weren't usable. I wasn't explained to that I could just get new frames and kept purchasing whole new pairs of glasses. This has happened 3 or 4 times so i have spent over 150 pounds on new glasses over the last 2 years. I feel ASDA opticians have let me down as this should have been explained to me on the first occasion and it could have been prevented.
I would like to be compensated for the un necessary lenses I have paid for in the past.
I look forward to a prompt response.
Please reply to my Resolver email account as I would like to keep all of my communications in my personalised complaints case file.
Yours faithfully
Alex Louise Laing

grocery home delivery driver
Monday 15th may approximately around 12pm I was driving down a lane past trelwanyd towards Penyffordd village when this incident happened.
I was driving along doing about 20-25mph when I spotted one of your drivers coming at me with some speed. I slowed down even more to eventually let them past as they got closer, they didn't slow down at all and actually swerved into me and made my car crash into the ditch causing a popped tyre and a crack on my bumper. My car obviously came to a stop, I turned around to see if they had stopped or hit anything themselves with their dangerous driving but they were driving off into the distance, so it was like they never stopped at all! I find it ABSOLUTLEY disgusted that you have people like that working for you. As a new driver having only passed my test 1 month ago this has shook me up and now am very cautious to taking that route which is my route to and from work every day. There were 2 white males in the vehicle, not only has it cost me just under £100 to sort out the damage to my car but it also put me under pressure when getting back into my car. And I hope that there are consequences for your drivers
false advertising
Today i visited Asda at Minworth and purchased 20 items. One item was a special deal offer of 8 tins of tuna marked down to only £2.50. I did not really need that many but at a great price brought some. When i went to self serve the barcode brice was £5.00 double the price. I immediately told the staff member who cgecked the price tab and said oh okay credited it off and scanned again £5.00 so credited again and overid price. Receipt number TC# 1586 [protected]. Time 13.06 today. This is the 2nd complaint of this nature and i got not reply direct to store so decided to contact through this form. If the quantity of approx 300 items all barcoded wrong went through the store is making a profit at the customers expense. I got no apology and feel frustrated at the service, may as well go to Aldi they do not false advertise.

Customer service
today on the 13/3/17 I decided to visit your cribs causeway store and purchase some food shopping while I was walking around your store I noticed a sign behind your pizza counter saying any 10inch pizza is £2.60 so I asked for one with stuffed crust and pepperoni after I continued to shop for another 20 minutes I noticed the price on the label of the pizza said £4 so I went back to the lady at the pizza counter and said it says £2.60 for any 10inch pizza she replied by pointing at some fine print on the bottom of the sign apparently saying includes certain things etc I could not see this as it was very small writing and I was wondering how could we be expected to see it if its behind the pizza counter where customers are not allowed. in my view that is misleading labelling. anyway I thought I would go to customer service to explain my issue and to see if I could have the pizza for £2.60 explaining that they couldent be put back up for sale anyway because it has been out the chiller for over half a hour I also said about the sign being unreadable but apparently there was nothing she could do. so I said ok wont have the pizza and continued my shopping the after another 20 minutes I noticed the customer service lady walking with the pizza and put it back on the shelf to be sold then I heard her and the pizza counter staff laughing about me saying in silly voices oh I cant see that writing there then laughing saying she needs to get glasses. I was outraged I did not want to go back to customer service after this because I felt like if I complained about this nothing would be done about it. also the fact the pizza was put back out for sale is a health and safety issue it makes me wonder if this is done with other fresh products.
asda ice cream cones
Hi, Just a query please. Today we purchased 2 packs of asda ice cream cones...1 pack of chocolate and hazelnut and 1 pack of strawberry. we always empty our boxes into the freezer as it gives us more space. On doing this today we discovered that you can't tell what the "flavour" of the cone is until you actually unwrap it as they are all the same colour. We have purchased many "own brand" cones from various stores before and they have usually been colour coded...ie..strawberry have red circle top and chocolate have brown circle top. I was just wondering if there was any reason why the asda cones are all white? As i said previous you can't tell the flavour because of this until opened which in turn means if its not the flavour you required you hav to put an opened cone back in the freezer. I would b grateful for any feedback reguarding this please.
out of date food sold in store
Hello, on 13th February 2017 I visited the asda store in Swaffham Norfolk. I purchased a 100g pack of Goji Berries (Dried fruit) from the Asda Good and Balanced range.
After eating a few of them I started to think that they didnt taste right, I checked the date and it seems that the best before date was December 2016! When I purchased them there was nothing stating that they were out of date stock and I paid the full price for them. I still have the receipt. The batch number under the BBE date is; Lot 6006N1
Thank you
customer service
Asda Bedminster... what can I say. Do your staff have special training in unhelpfulness and scowling? Most of them look like they would rather be having their nails pulled out than working in Asda. Rude, surly, uncommunicative and with a permanent scowl on the face. I've had more bad experiences here than I can recount, one in particular being when I asked one of the shelp stackers politely if he could please move so I could get the thing I was wanting. I'd been back twice hopeing he would have moved and he was still there. He answered flatly, NO. Well, there's nothing like customer service is there? Another time a lady was having a problem with the self service till going wrong, as they commonly do. I spoke to one of the staff who was nearby pricing up some items, saying, excuse me, this lady is having some problems with the till. He looked at me as if he was totally annoyed I had asked him and said "Right?" in a disinterested aggressive way. So I added, that I wondered if he could get someone to help. He did try to find someone then, but I shouldn't have had the attitude or to have to explain to him what I wanted. There have been other incidents in this shop, every time I go there I come home feeling terrible. You may wonder why I go there but it's the most local supermarket to me and I dont' have a car. Please guys, can't you at least TRY and make it a bearable place to shop?
airwick
I bought a candle from you Air Wick spiced orange & cinnamon. I bought it from Blackpool Asda would like to say that I often buy these candles from Asda.
I burnt my candle as I always do and as it got nearer the end something incredibly dangerous happened and the glass exploded and cracked down the sides the flame was still lit and it broke in half. I was horrified as you can imagine as this is incredibly dangerous.
I am so unhappy with what has happened I will not buy another from your store as these are incredibly dangerous. What a waste of money as these candles are not cheap. And I cannot stress how dangerous. It could have set my carpet alight had It of fallen off the table.
I bought this candle on the 19/12/16
I have images and have kept all the packaging and receipt.
oil burner
Hello there it is with great regret that I am having to submit this complaint to yourselves, however I need to bring it to your attention about an oil burner that was purchased from Asda.
I have been using the oil burner since the 12th of January and it was brilliant no problems.
On Thursday the 27th of January I lit it as usual in the evening and went to the kitchen to wash up, no more than 8 minutes later the smoke detector started sounding, I walked into my hallway and there was thick black smoke coming from the living room... The oil burner had caught alight.
I got to the living room and the flames were coming out of it really high... Luckily I damped a towel and threw it over it to put it out.
This situation could have ended a lot worse though, I think people need to be made aware that have purchased this item that it's not safe.
Once it had cooled off I washed the black soot from it and realised that there was cracks all over it and at the top where the oil goes this must mean the oil had been dripping through to the flame which is why it egnited...
This should not happen the oil burner should be able to withstand the heat as that's it's purpose!
I'm truly shocked by this event and would very much like others warned and a response from yourselves regarding this.
I have attached photos for you to see.
Many thanks
Chinese sweet and sour battered chicken
Today we decided to buy some Chinese, unfortunately as my partner was eating his battered chicken he found a hair within the chicken. Also could you please not state that your plain noodles are plain noodles as the small print says with a sauce however when you have a tired whinging five year old wants to go home you kind of just read the big print.
organic garlic from china
Hello,
I am writing with regard to the disappointing fact that I found asda organic garlic is imported from china.
I am concerned that your vegetable buyers / researchers do not know of the shocking way that garlic is cultivated in china... Both organic and unorganic varieties.
There are major concerns about buying garlic from china. American food / health journalists have written alarming reports, as their country are also buying in this cheap garlic.
There is a reason why it is cheap... It is because the chinese growers have cut corners in production, and used bad chemicals to whiten it and prolong its shelf life!
There is loads of information on-line to find this out... A quick google and you see it.
Here's one to get you started.
Here's an extract from another:
In china, quality control is a huge issue. Many chinese farmers are using illegal and harmful pesticides to grow their crops.
“an undercover magazine reporter investigating in the area found that many vegetable farmers used phorate and parathion, two pesticides banned by the government, to irrigate the crops to save time and effort” (Epoch times).
Parathion and phorate have been labeled highly toxic poisons for some time – and for good reason.
Another major factor in the quality of the garlic in china is from the major pollution problem. the soil itself is toxic and is also a major health concern.
“an official government report in 2014 showed that nearly a fifth of china’s soil is contaminated by heavy metals like cadmium and arsenic as well as unhealthy amounts of pesticides and fertilizers. severe pollution has tainted all of china’s major rivers with large amounts of industrial chemicals and household waste” (Epoch times).
Please please can you stop getting dodgy produce like this from china and selling it over here - our standards for organic are much stricter than china's. When you import their organic produce, it is likely to have had very chemical-laden proceedures done to it.
I know that customers buying organic, as a whole, prefer to pay a bit extra for good quality produce, over growers who jump on the organic bandwagon by cutting corners to keep cost down.
I would prefer to have non-organic garlic from europe than organic garlic that's come from half way round the world!
Thanks for looking into this,
Liz thornton
food
On the 3rd of January me and my wife went shopping on our weekly routine in Folkestone branch of asda. We bought most of our regular shopping there including seabrook crisps I was dismayed however that when I started to eat my pack today discovered the taste was not right so I looked at the best before date and it has the 17 dec on them. This is absolutely appaling how can such a thing go missed I mean not even a few days but over 3 weeks out of date my wifes are ok but you may want to check the seabrooks sea salt and vinegar as this is the one out of date I would normally not think I would have to date check in a massive retail company but from now on I will. totally disappointed and disgusted.
customer service at your peterborough store
Hello, I was shopping in your Asda store on the 29/12/16 at around 14:30PM.
I usually always shop at my local Asda as I always find it very good value for money and nice customer service. Although this particular occasion I was treated quite unfairly I believe.
I was using the self check out and one of my items wasn't weighing correctly so the lady (I didn't get her name) came over and didn't say anything to me but started going through my bags without saying a word. I felt quite embarrassed as I felt other customers were looking to see what was going on. I asked the lady if everything was okay and again she did not respond? She just scanned her badge and said thats fine and walked off.
Now I am usually very happy with you customer service and appreciate that the shop was busy on this day. But I do not think it was appropriate to be treated like this.
Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you.

wrong goods supplied in ps4 for christmas present
Bought PS4 online direct for sons Christmas. When box opened on Christmas day it contained set of bathroom scales instead of PS4 consol.
Son absolutely devastated and thought Santa had sent this.
Spoke/emailed Asda helpdesk/store/helplinemanager several times to be told "not our remit" . Still, after 3 days waiting to hear from someone who can help.
Anyone spoke to so far not recognising serious distress caused to my son and family.
Managed to purchase another PS4 direct from store to give son. Store were unable to refund money already paid, as "ordered online" so now also out of pocket another £230.
ignorance of all the staff
I have been to asda in strelley Nottingham on several occasions and have received poor treatment from the employees. Usually in life you find one or two people that are ignorant but in this branch they are all ignorant apart from two at the most, they never let you stand back to do your shopping, their attitude is our job is more important than your shopping. Very miserable and don't make you feel welcome at all, it starts with the security on the door, through the tills up to where you put your lottery on and that's probably where you find the odd person that is nice.
I just wanted to say it's exactly the same as the Asda I go to in Bristol, exact same thing you walk in and feel intimidated, the staff think their shelf stacking is more important than your shopping and are rude sourfaced and bloody rude.
online grocery ordering
In October I was given a £40 credit to my online account as you cancelled a large order with no notice. I didn't want the credit, would rather have had in store vouchers, as I wasn't intending on using online ordering again. As expected when I came to use the voucher it doesn't work! And two weeks later after reporting to Asda grocery online still no resolution...and this
is why I did not want to use your online shopping facility again. Dreadful
service. Let down once again.
