Bahama Breeze reservation process

My name is Marcia Williams. I used the online service to make a reservation weeks before the event, for a party of 7-10 guest for a SURPRISE baby shower. I received confirmation for my reservation via a phone call soon after. I called the day before my event and was verbally told that everything was in order. I arrived the next day 30min ahead of time. I was told to give them a few minutes while they prepared the space. Everyone seemed to be unorganized and unsure about my reservation. 15 minutes later I was still sitting in the lobby and my guests were starting to arrive. I asked again and was told that they were getting the space ready. Another 10 minutes later the manager came out to me and my guests who had arrived and told me that another family was sitting in the reserved area and it would be a 45 minutes wait. The guest of honor was about to arrive so I told her that was not an option (again it was supposed to be a surprise). I told the manager I had a reservation. She told me that Bahama Breeze did not take reservations. She acted like it was my fault and she was trying to "make it work for me" At that point I didn't have time, the SURPRISE was going to be ruined. I agreed to a table inside. This took another 15-20 minutes to prepare. The guest of honor had arrived and to make a long story short the SURPRISE did not go as planned. I was very disappointed by the way the manager handled the situation, her unprofessional demeanor and the way she made it my problem was unacceptable. I don't recall her name but I'm sure you can look up who was on duty on April 27th, 2019 at the Barrett Pwy location. My reservation was for 4:30pm. Needless to say I will not be back to your establishment and your "reservation" process online is a joke. By the was or server Duncan was wonderful (notice how I remembered his name?)

On mother's day I made reservations for 3:15pm to avoid waiting. When we got there the line was out the door. When I told the person at check in that I had a reservation I was told to get in the line. The purpose of making a reservation is so that you have a table ready when you get there not 45 minutes later. I guess I can't celebrate special occasions without a long wait. Very disappointed customer.

Bahama Breeze service

I want to start to tell you that first of all our waitress was awesome! She was very personable and concerned about my daughters food allergies. She went out of her way to offer suggestions and since she was dairy free she made suggestions for foods my daughter could eat at home. My complaint has nothing to do with her- my complaint has to do with the kitchen service. We got to the restaurant at 630ish and order probably 645. We did not get our food until 730. The person who delivered our food was not our server and I mentioned to him we were still waiting for fries- he said he knew- they never came. We love bahama breeze and the food. We will be back, but waiting 45 mins for food is pretty lousy.

Bahama Breeze cleanliness

I dine there twice a week for the last 2 years, the seats in the outside booths are dirty enough you woul think you are sitting at a garage.. mentione to management several times and response is yea, we have to get them cleaned..heck, they are beyond cleaning. I am not an upholsterer, but I know in less than 2 hrs. after closing I could refinish with new fabric..I have photos, and management seen them on my phone, , other than that, , service and food is always the best.

Bahama Breeze food

I went to the new Bahama Breeze in Wesley Chapel, FL and I ordered a chicken salad with fruit in it.. unfortunately my salad had a piece of plastic from the bag that the fruit came from... luckily I saw it before putting in my mouth and possible swollowing it. This could of been a shocking hazard. The staff was very apologetic and kind and even the manager came to the table and apologize. The restaurant was busy and possible the rushing might have caused this mishaps. I feel quality is always better than quantity and the health and well being of ur customers.

Bahama Breeze manager

The manager was extremely rude and suggested I take my food and go. Food was good but the manager was very unprofessional. He did not communicate with his staff. It turned a very relaxing and enjoyable experience, into a horrible experience. I am delayed at the airport and wanted to make the most of my experience, however this guy just soured my entire mood. I didn't get his name. I know he is a manager and I'm so disappointed. I don't like leaving negative reviews but he was so rude when he spoke to me. I feel really bad about the situation in fact I'm pissed. What gives you the right to talk to anyone like that. Not nice and I Will never return and tell all of my friends to dine with caution. My waitress Sara although was awesome.

Bahama Breeze overcharge for drinks

I go to Bahama Breeze twice a month for dinner or happy hours. I went on 7/13/2018 for happy hour got a drink from the bar went to the patio to wait for my friend. The drink was $5.00 put I was charge $6.21. I have been getting this same drink for the last 4 month every other week. Why does it cost so much from the bar than it does if it is brought to you. Is the bartender getting her cut first, check # [protected], trans # [protected].

Bahama Breeze food and management

My name is Charlene Dance. My husband, Lionel and I went to eat at the Bahama Breeze, in Cherry Hill New Jersey, on Friday, May 18, 2018. We did not need to wait and seated abruptly. After ordering all of our meals, we noticed that while we waited, each of our meals, were firstl delivered to the table across from us. The waiter at the other table was trying to accommodate his family, who told him they needed to eat quickly. After getting my meal and the children's, my husband still had no meal. When I looked at my burger, I noticed it was not the barbecue, bacon burger, which was ordered. I called the waitress and let her know, as she offered to change it. I told her, no thank you, I waited long enough and where is my husband's food? Finally, his food came out and he began eating. He then pulled out lobster, from the, supposedly chicken quesadillas that he ordered. He asked if I believed it to be lobster. I told him that it is seafood and called the waitress, to bring it to her attention. She brought over a manager. The manager came over and I told him what transpired and that my husband and the rest of us are deathly allergic to shellfish. He said he'd take care of it and get the right meal sent over. Shortly after, another quesadilla meal came, with "lobster" AGAIN! We called the waitress, who seemed embarrassed and she sent over another woman, who appeared to be the chef, or head chef. The Woman/chef came over and jokedley asked if Lionel was ok, since our entire family, my husband, I and kids are ALL allergic to SHELLFISH! He answered her, by letting her know that he felt ok, after eating one quesadilla. She told him that she will take it care of it and won't charge us, but will send over another one. As she was still standing at our table, they brought over, yet another order of quesadillas, which the chef said was wrong, just by looking at it, yet another SHRIMP quesadilla meal! She took it back and came back, letting us know that she cooked it herself. By this point, I didn't want to eat anymore and my husband certainly did not want to eat! We packed up the food to take it home, which was still not eaten, out of fear. The quesadillas were not added as a charge and even though the burger came, without barbecue and bacon, the price was not adjusted. This complaint is mainly because, it could have been worse, my husband's life could have been in danger and all we received was a couple of jokes and so much confusion. It was the worst restaurant experience of our time of being together. The restaurant is very unorganized and insensitive!

Bahama Breeze service at bahama breeze in beachwood ohio

My mom and I went out for Christmas dinner last December of 2016. We chose Bahama Breeze in Beachwood Ohio. We had been there before and had amazing experiences with the service and the food. The experience that we had that December was anything but amazing. We were seated right away. We sat for a 15 minutes until someone greeted us. They took our drink and appetizer order. We got our appetizers first about 15 minutes later but we had no silverware. Another 15 minutes went by and we got our drinks and asked for silver ware. It was then that we ordered our entrees. Well we got our silverware and a half an hour later we are wondering where our food was. So we asked the waitress and she said that the cooks are too busy and the staff is short on help. That's exactly what we wanted to hear. So we waited another 15 minutes hoping that the food would come. The food still had not arrived and the waitress just kept giving us excuses. But I believe the case was that she forgot to put our order in. We thought this because there were two large parties seated after us that got all of their food before we did. We have to speak to the manager. So the manager came up to talk to us and we told him what happened. He said that he was sorry and that he wants us to get our food enjoy it and want to come back. We told him at this point we just wanted our food boxed up so we can leave because we had been there for an hour and a half and still have not gotten the food we ordered. He didn't like that answer and proceeded to tell us that it was our fault. He said that nobody else here had complained and that we were thrown for a loop because they were busy. We asked for boxes so that when our food came we could leave. He left we thought he was getting boxes but another 15 minutes went. A host walked by and saw we were upset so he asked if there was anything that he could do and we asked him if he could box up our food and he did. That was the best service we received at night. The manager finally returned with the bill and said that he didn't charge us for the entrees but we still had to pay for the drinks and appetizers and that he was being more than generous by doing that. I asked him about the boxes and he said that he has people here that can do that. So I paid the bill and we got up to leave right after that. He started arguing with us again and the host started trying to round us out of the building opening the door trying to put her hands on us. Believe me we were on our way out we wanted to be out of there a long time ago. The manager Then followed us out into the parking lot took a picture of our license plate and said he was going to call the cops on us. And also told us that we were not welcome back at this Bahama Breeze. Again everything was our fault. I called the next day and spoke to a different manager who was very apologetic and said that he would send a gift card in the mail. That gift card never arrived. To this day I still have not complained but I have also not gone back to Bahama Breeze. And I'm still very upset about this experience. It's a shame because the food atmosphere and service is usually amazing. But it only took one bad manager to ruin that for us. I hope he has not done the same to other customers since then.

Bahama Breeze food

Hello,
We dined at the Brandon mall Bahama Breeze location in Brandon, FL on May 12th at 1pm. I got the oxtails meal. I thought it would come with mash pot but it came with rice. The green beans tasted burnt that was served with it. The oxtails were fall off the bone but I did not like my sides or the sauce the oxtails was in. I was super excited when I saw this on the menu, not a dish that made very often at restuarants.

I just wished my sides and the sauce tasted better. Also my soda tasted very watered down. The waitress also forgot to apply the coupon after we told her two times.

Just left not as excited as I was when I ordered. I love your food most of the time.

Today--not so much! The waitress was very sweet and the place was clean.

Bahama Breeze management

4/19/18: A friend and I dined at the Bahama Breeze on I-Drive Orlando last evening. We were seated at approximately 5:30 p.m. and the restaurant was quite empty. We ordered ice tea and talked for a bit. We then ordered appetizers, followed by dinner and desert. At approximately 7:40 p.m. (10 minutes or so after desert) a gentleman dressed in black came to our table. My friend commented, "oh, the cook has come to see us"! However, it wasn't the cook, it was the manager. He advised that he needed the table for a party (we were seated at a table for 4 and the table next to us sat empty for the period of time we were there dining). He invited us to the bar for a drink, coffee, etc. However, other diners were now interested in what was transpiring at our table as we politely refused his "offer" and left the restaurant with multiple sets of eyes upon us. I need to say this; at no time was there any negative interaction between ourselves, our server (Z) or anyone. I have been a customer of this restaurant and the one located on Vineland Rd since both have opened. My question; is it Darden's policy to ask patrons to leave when a table (next to ours) sat dormant for an extended period of time? As I said, at no time was any party(on other side) engaged in rude, disruptive or undesirable behavior. It was embarrassing to say the least and as "mature" women (55+) wasn't much appreciated! Maybe a letter of apology is necessary because we left with a BAD taste in our mouths.

Bahama Breeze management and hospitality

Would like to start by saying the tonight was the worse night out that me and my family had ever experienced, my server was cierra and she was wonderful and very attentive . They didn't have the skirt steack so the manager who was very unprofessional and did not apologized at any time and also look like we were bothering her with our presence, asked if I wanted the sirloin instead I wanted to modify it but she did not wait for me to say a word and took off ! When the sirloin arrive, was the worse steak I ever try in my life

Bahama Breeze beverage

Hello, I enjoy Bahama breeze. But tonight I was super excited to get the hot chocolate with a toasted marshmallow. Unfortunately, myself and my friend i was with hot our hot chocolates without a marshmallow. Our server tried to make up for it up he just brought us out another hot chocolate without a marshmallow. When i would of just been happy with hot chocolate was off my check. I don't expect anything out of this. But i do expect the severs to bring me something and let me know they don't have the corect things.

Bahama Breeze talk to a manager about my payroll card

They had me waiting for 2 hours. And the manager I was waiting on told me that I had 2 minutes when I sat down to talk to her. Her name is Allison. I have never dealt with such a unprofessional run business in my life. And the manager I talked to when I first came in told me that Allison was here dealing with an issue in the back of the store. Then was later told that the manager wasn't even there and she would show up at 1:00pm. She later showed up at 1:20pm and looked right at me as she walked passed. I timed my exspernce at this place so you will know that I'm not kidding around. Very unhappy gust

Bahama Breeze manager poor behavior; rude, disrespectful

Thursday June 15th 12 noon, International Drive, OrlandoFL. First our team works by the BB on International Dr Orlando FL. We love to go to lunch there especially for the Key Lime pie. Sometimes we run over at 4p for coffee and pie. (We work till 10p at times). Myself and a colleague were retiring. The VP of district asked us where did we want lunch for the team, of course our favorite.
We were a party of nine. The manager showed us section with 2 round tables of 5. We told him we wanted to be together. He stated, "I am short with no one for this section. I am pulling someone to wait on you". Our Director asked if we could fold table end and push together? He replied, " sure, go ahead". So we folded two section, pushed the tables together and then sat down. Our director asked to speak with manager and he replied, "I am the manager!" Our server was fantastic, the lunch was great and of course the deserts were delicious. However, it was to be a happy day with Edye and I retiring company due to positions being eliminated, So as you can read our celebration lunch did not start out with the best of communication welcome by manager. This is a big disappointment due to the fact if friends come to visit, BB is the place we go, now not so sure. There are so many restaurants we have not tried on I-Drive. I truly cannot believe as a manager and leader of employees he could be so rude. Highly disappointed in BB visit.

Bahama Breeze unethical behavior

4/29/2017 I went to your restaurant to celebrate my college graduation. My family of 5 and I was placed on your waiting list and was told we had a 35-45 minute wait. Which we didn't mind because we love eating at Bahama Breeze and was so excited to celebrate my day. Unfortunately my happiness and excitement slowly dwindled when 50 minutes came around and we noticed everyone that not only came before us but after us was gone from the waiting area. The hostess at the counter asked us if we had checked in and we said yes. Then when she noticed I was wearing my cap from graduation she proceeded to say. "I wish you were the one to check in, we sit graduates right away" then advised we would be seated right away. A family of eight came in and was seated right away and that is when the lady stated they had a reservation and then also advised us the wait can be up to an hour. Well this was not told to us when we walked in. Then shortly after I told my family lets continue to wait because I really wanted to eat there and since the lady told us we were next I was ok with that. Unfortunately another party of 5 came in, they waited 5 mins and was also seated before us. After waiting an hr and ten minutes this is when we decided to leave. Not only did this ruin my evening, but now we had to leave and locate another establishment to eat and wait. This is when we located Olive Garden down the street and was seated after ten minutes. We were given the greatest treatment there, I was congratulated by every employee that passed by me. Which we barely received a hello at Bahama Breeze, this definitely made up for the horrible treatment from Bahamas Breeze. I just want to express you should have friendlier, nicer and more compassionate hostess at your desk. If you are telling someone it will be 35 to 45 mins to wait for a table and you notice it is now an hour, you should go up to that family and at least apologize for the long wait or least offer a glass of water which we did not get. Instead we were given a list of excuses on why we were not seated. Over all the hostesses did not even attempt to make us happy or try to keep us there after we handed the pager to them. This is quite unfortunate because your establishment has such a delectable selection to choose from which made it my favorite restaurant, but from this experience, I will now think twice before deciding to dine at Bahama Breeze. Thank you for ruining the most important night of my life. I would also like to thank you for your time in reading this. I hope this will prevent this from happening to other families that decide to go to your Pembroke Pines location.

Bahama Breeze manager

What I will start out saying is Bahama breeze is one of my favorite restaurants to go to! Hands down great service! Then recently I went to the one in Cherry Hill and was taken back by how rude the manager was, it almost was if I was bothering him with my request for different dish my server didn't make a mistake I just didn't favor the original dish I ordered. This adult man rolled his eyes three times while I was talking and took a deep breath as if he wanted me to not speak. Even if the excuse of being under a lot of pressure cause of a busy night was the case in this matter still gives no one the right in a place of business to treat a guest like that Shannon is one of the faces of a great restaurant and he completely ruined that for us with his disrespect was not even expecting that

Bahama Breeze bad service, rude

very bad service to me and my friends by a blonde female that worked as a server. She just had a really bad attitude, was snobbish, rude, putting things out in a rude way, got our orders wrong, and gave everyone a bad attitude. this is the 2nd time i've been at that location and received bad service by a female server. The women that work there, a lot of them need some serious attitude changes or some help in customer service. Usually their service is good, so since is a surprisingly bad change...the blonde girl needs some serious help

They hire and fire in same week, someone needs to look into this. They wonder why people that go here get bad service. If you don't take care of your employees, how can you offer great service. My wife does private parties and people love her.

This company has NO clue to what people want.

I was assaulted on the patio area by another customer. The reason for the assault is because the staff allowed the customer to move the table and chairs in the walk way and we asked them to move just a little to get the baby stroller by and the lady punched me in my face.

We went to the Alafaya restaurant in Orlando and the food didn't bother us. I called and the one who was serving us told me that she couldn't do anything. This happened today September 11, 2022 at 9:00 pm they didn't give me the receipt but in the photo is the transaction of my husband's account

I have visited this restaurant twice now with family and ordered baby back ribs only to have the server come back to say they are our of ribs. One of those times i asked before we ordered and was told yes we got them. What is the problem? I can go to any restaurant to order and the servers are up to date with availability of food on the menu.

Waiter had the worse attitude, it seems like he was flirting with a waitress, so he was more focus on that then assisting us at the table, when the food finally arrive we realized he got the orders wrong, some plates were not prepared the way we order them.

I normally enjoy coming here for the late night happy hour however, I ordered 2 Bahamaritas tonight and the bartender didn't put tequila in my shot glass instead it was filled with the mix used for the margaritas...

My bartender served me a drink with huge peices of broken glass. Bahamas breeze is doing Ntg to resolve this.
