I recently encountered an issue with my Amprobe AM-530 multimeter, specifically with the kickstand part which is starting to break. I reached out to customer service to inquire about purchasing a replacement part. Unfortunately, they informed me that if the part was still under warranty, they would have replaced the entire meter. However, since my meter is no longer covered by the 1-year warranty, they were unable to sell me just the replacement part.

Instead, they offered to sell me a brand new multimeter, which is not an acceptable solution for me. I believe it would be more reasonable to offer customers the option to purchase individual replacement parts, especially for a product like a multimeter where certain components may wear out or break over time.

I am disappointed with this response and would like to escalate the issue to the attention of the President of Amprobe. Could you please provide me with the contact information of the President so that I can bring this matter to their attention? I hope that by doing so, the company can consider offering replacement parts for out-of-warranty products, providing a more satisfactory solution for customers like myself.

I would prefer not to have to go through the hassle of contacting consumer protection agencies if my request can be addressed directly. However, I believe it is important for the President of Amprobe to be aware of this situation and the potential impact on their company's reputation.
