On 06/21/2023, I placed an order for a Squire Stratocaster guitar set for $313.48 from music & arts on their website. It was supposed to arrive in 3-5 business days. They sent me a UPS tracking # to my email (#[protected]).

On 07/08/2023, My guitar had not arrived. I checked the tracking info and it said “Carrier Awaiting Pickup” on their tracking. UPS tracking said “we could not locate the shipment details”. I tried reaching music & arts customer service via phone and chat.. kept getting put on hold. I gave up and filed a dispute with my credit card company(Capital One). Capital One recommended that I block Music & Arts, then get a new credit card. I took their advice.

On 07/26/2023, The dispute was ruled in my favor.

On 08/06/2023, I was charged again for $313.48 by music & arts without my authorization. I reached out to their customer service, was able to speak to an agentbut they said the “receipt expired” and they couldn’t help me. I filed another dispute with my credit card and it was ruled in my favor again around 08/24.

On 08/28/2023, I got calls from Music & Arts saying that my account was in bad status and that I had to pay them $313.48. Received one call on 08/28 and one on 08/29 at 6 AM. When I called them back, I was put on hold for hours, their agents said my account had zero balance. They kept saying my order was delivered as well but I did not receive anything. I filed a BBB complaint on 08/28. ID #[protected].

On 08/31/2023, Music & Arts replied to my complaint, revealed that they had sent me the wrong tracking info, and that it was a Fedex tracking number, not UPS, said the order was delivered on 06/25. But they said my account was in good status and I had a zero balance. I did not receive any packages from them from Fedex or UPS. I used the Fedex tracking and found a picture of the delivery.. it is not my apartment in the picture and it was delivered to the wrong address. I did not sign for it, never received it.

On 09/16/2023, Music & Arts called me, said I “rented an instrument” from them, my account was in bad status and I owed them money. I called back, they asked me to speak to customer service and I couldn’t reach them.

On 09/19/2023, I found a couple of payment notices from Music & Arts in my mailbox. They seem to be trying to charge recurring fees of $313.48 to my credit card without my authorization.

They are not accepting credit card dispute resolutions and basically committing fraud, charging my card without authorization once, now harrassing me with phone calls and letters.

I’ve filed complaints with the BBB again, Arizona Attorney General’s office and with VISA. I would like this company to fix their billing, stop wasting my time, stop harrassing me and stop trying to ruin my credit over a product that never got delivered to my address.

Desired outcome: Respect credit card dispute resolutions.Stop Fraudulent, unauthorized charges.Fix your billing mess.Stop harrassing me and trying to ruin my credit.
