fuel pump handles have broken springs, cleanliness, no receipts
I was getting fuel on 6/10/2018, the pump wouldn't shut off, the spring was broke and the auto device never triggered, this caused me to spill fuel?
The fuel pumps are always out of receipt paper and the clerks act like you are breaking their arm when you request one?
NONE of the windshield washing devices work, they are always tore off or broken on both sides?
signage
Do you as a corporation allow political candidates to put signs on your property? If not please have the one from Gayla McSwain removed from you property on US Highway 176/ St. James Ave. in Goose Creek, SC. If you do allow it, please let me know who to contact in order to get permission. Other wise not only is she infringing on your rights as a property owner, she would then also be in violation of a Goose Creek City Ordinance. Thank you.
gas on #1 pump did not shut off causing gas to spilling on ground and my leg and shoe
After the spill went in and Sonny the attendant basically said was I looking for free gas since this had not happened all day. Went out with him to show and still Sonny brought up this hadn't happened all day? Went in to just let know there was an issue that needed to be fixed and I thought a gallon credit might be appropriate. Left feeling very mad and terrible customer service. 2546 IN-44 shelbyville Indiana name Sonny. And waited 10 mins after (getting Penn Station) and still no one put a yellow bag on or checked pump. So potential issue could still happen.
refusal of manufacturer coupon for cigarettes
What is the purpose of sending us coupons that gas stations refuse to honor? I live in CT and they refuse to take the Newport coupons, and they blantanly take our money without honoring the coupon! This makes me want to quit not just for my health but the outright refusal of accepting coupons. Most gas stations refuse coupons and they should not be allowed if you sell a product that has manufacturers coupons should by law accept them. Very disappointed the laws allow no recourse other then just quit smoking.
personnel at gas station
I am a regular Sunoco customer at 527 Main Ave, Norwalk, CT; Both I and my employees usually fill the gas tank there because it has good prices. Today June 17, around 7:30 am, I went to this place and saw a discount offer of.25 cents per gallon; I went in and asked the employee who was there (an African-American girl, young) what the offer consisted of and how I could get it, this for some reason upset her and raising her voice a lot, she told me to take an application and pointed it out to me where were the lottery tickets, I replied that there was no application and I reiterated that I wanted to know what the offer was. This girl inexplicably refused to explain to me. I told her (again) that please gime me at least what application to take since there were several, different applications, She turned her face towards another client and asked him what he wanted, ignoring me completely. I asked her the name of the manager and she answered me very rudely that she was the manager. I left the Sunoco station with the purpose of never going back there; I do not believe that this is the policy of the company and I also believe that this person is not or represents any gain for Sunoco. I await your response, because this incident really affected me, because of the lack of reason to provoke it. Thank you
general mistreatment by service? person
I was not a Sunoco Customer. I live literally less than a block up the street from the service station. Tonight I had a flat tire, used "fix a flat" and went the block down the hill to Sunoco to put air in it. My friend, who has just work two weeks straight without a break, and had just come from work, was with me. He went to put the air in the tire and said "the tire is off the rim" ... we pulled up to the building... and asked for help. The man in the photo (blue shirt) said "No... I can't fix that." My friend said "I'll just do it" and proceeded to try to put the "donut" on the car. The young attendant came over and offered to help, but said "the nuts are stripped" ... the difficult service man ultimately ordered us to move the car off the lot ... "you leave. come back tomorrow." ... (ok. I'll just jump in my car and drive it on a rim without a tire. gotchya.) So? I took a photo of the service station. I took a photo of the helpful attendant. AND I took a photo of the difficult not helpful person. "You want me to smile?" "Go ahead if you want. I don't care what you do." We drove the car on the rim, to the sidewalk on the outside street of the building, and called AAA. (Doesn't AAA normally tow you TO service station ... not rescue you FROM one?) I'm just really angry. What if I had been a woman alone and my friend had NOT been with me. There is a sign on the front of the building clearly displaying "Tires" ... and moreover, have we really reached a point in life where we coldly and boldly refuse to help a fellow human being in distress? Well, like I say. I'm Jane nobody. But it happened. And it happened at a service station that displays the Sunoco name. And I thought you would want to know about it. Facebook does... I posted it. In fact, I posted it from my phone as I stood on the sidewalk waiting for triple A. The difficult man and about four other guys made a fake walk up the side of the building to see what my friend and I were doing on our phones ... he was checking the news. I was posting my experience. They tried to look over the wall to see ... It was quite lame, really. I am angry. Truly angry. And disappointed. But as long as I have chosen to share it openly, I chose also to share it with you. Whether or not you do anything? Does not much matter now. My car is safely home with a donut tire on the front passenger side ... but your Sunoco stands boldly ... falsely representing a level of service they do NOT provide, even under dire circumstances. My friend always stopped there in the morning for gas and cigarettes. Well... until today. Unfortunate.
Sincerely,
Melissa Sue Masters
attendant
On June 11, 2018 at 9:45 pm, I made a gas purchase and filled up my car at the 33rd & Cecil B Moore station. The attendant acted like he could not find my gas transaction after I pumped gas to print me a receipt. He gave me someone's receipt but it was not mine. At first he said someone else is using the pump (no one was there) and then he said he could not find it.
a/c service and coolant refill
The Sunoco auto repair shop is located in 1413 Chain Bridge Rd., McLean, VA 22101. Phil repaired my A/C abd refilled coolant on 5/30/2018.
The phone is (703) 893-2905. Website: https://www.sunoco.com/find-a-station/station/43737
The next morning after repair, when driving the Nissan Altima 2002 2.5S, I smelled coolant from repaired A/C. On Friday morning, 6/01/2018, I saw collant vapor smoking thru engine hood. The engine boke down for several times.
I sent the car to 39 New York Ave NE, Downtown Auto Repair & Tires who charged me $492 to replace the radiator, the crankshaft and camshaft. The engine was still not able to be started.
So, I let Geoco towe it to Citgo Auto Repair located in 7131 Columbia Pike Annandale, VA 22003. They said the engine cylinder sleeves were offset.
I wonder what happened to the Nissan Altima 2002 2.5S with tag number VT-8800.
Please investigate and call me at [protected] or email to [protected]@hotmail.com.
The last whole week, I spent over $300 to take Uber to commute to work.
Phil might have good intention to stop the car's running for the mutual intertest of his and mine. But that seemed to be very costy for now.

lottery
Your Cashier did not scan winnings from lottery ticket. Instead asked my son how much was the ticket paying out for ? My son thought it was for 20 dollars so he just took out 20 instead of checking once my son came to the car and gave me the money i asked for the rest and he said your cashier only gave him twenty because my son told him that's how much it was for. I told my son to go back in and your cashier once again didn't scan the ticket that he had on the side for later and just gave him an extra 20 dollars . I'm applauded and will be complaining to Ct lottery as well.
I will NEVER go to the Sunoco Gas Station at 1165 E Alfred St, Tavares FL again. Of course, run by Indians out for a quick buck. They over charge, they charge you for things you don't get, and will argue with you when you request your money back. They are dirty, and have a nasty disposition. If your bold enough to purchase your lunch there, be prepared to spend the afternoon in the bathroom. Good luck to you, If I had a choice, my vote would be 0. They have stolen their last dollar from me. I hope this blog protects at least one person from getting ripped off these jerks.
aquafina water
I purchased water at a Sunoco in Pasadena tx near my home where I pumped gas. This happened 06/05/2018. The water has been sitting outside in the sun and the water taste different and I'm always purchasing Aquafina brand water and it has never tasted like the ones I have at work currently. I have a small refrigerator where the waters stay cold but have an after taste. Please resolve this issue or compensate me back for my purchase. I hope to speak to someone soon about this matter cause there are cases and cases of water just sitting out in the sun. It is a waste of water or I will report to Aquafina this issue of water being wasted.
self service pump
It's Tuesday June 5, 2018. I was at the Sunoco self serve pump at the Sunoco on westfield st in westfield Ma. Next to the golden nozzle car wash. I always go there at least 3times a week. I started pumping gas into my jeep renegade which is cap less. It was going fine til it hit $17 and then it kept stopping constantly. Then all of a sudden it wouldn't stop and the gas went all over the ground. It stopped at $29. I told the kid that works there about it and he said that always happens to cap less jeeps. I said no it doesn't.. I've been putting gas in my jeep since 2015 when it was new. So he went and got the manager who's a hyper person and he told me I didn't put the nozzle in right! Really? Then how come it was running fine until it hit the $17? He said well there's nothing I can do about it! Really? No one can credit my account for $5.00 Are you kidding me? I give Sunoco a lot of business because I drive a lot. I spend $60-$80 every week on gas and the guy can't help me? He was very stubborn and he just walked away. So I yelled that I was going to file a complaint. Well I hope you respond and make a steady customer happy.. I'll be waiting to hear. Thank you! Nancy Mcnulty.. Email is anushh.[protected]@gmail.com
gasoline
On June 1, 2018 I, Dominique Antoine, arrived at the Sunuco gas station at approximately 7:15pm at the Vince Lombardi Service area off of the New Jersey turnpike in Ridgefield, NJ. I have a black 2007 Toyota Corolla. Upon arriving, I see a paper sign that reads "cash only", I asked the gas attendant are all the pumps cash only he says yes and I ask him for the Atm. He points to the service center. After finding the ATM it reads "out of service". I am on the gas light with no way to get home because a gas station in the most densely populated state in the country on one of the most used highways in the country does not accept cash in 2018. I then returned to the service center to see if I could buy something and the woman at the convenient store says they do not provide "cash back" option after a purchase. I am then talking to the gas attendant that I do not have cash and I am on the light and cannot get home, he says "that's the problem, the system is down". I told him I will be sleeping on the side of the turnpike because of this. He points me in a direction to the manager and tells me to speak with him. I go into the Sunuco store, there was an middle aged male and young woman behind the cashier and I am explaining my situation almost in tears of frustration and desperation. I offered to pay them immediately via Google wallet or Venmo if they gave me $5 cash. I have the money, I just did not have the cash on me. She explained that she did not have money to give me, I explain that I'm not asking for her money because the money would be deposited to her account that second via venmo or Google wallet. The man behind the counter did not say anything and did not offer to help neither did the gas attendant. After over an hour at this service center and in tears and frustration, a customer gave me $5 to put enough gas in my car. I was eternally grateful. It is completely unacceptable that a gas station on a Friday evening on one of the most frequented highways does not accept card AND does not have a functioning ATM. What is more unacceptable is the complete lack of regard and concern and willingness to help that everyone that worked at sunuco showed me. I was not asking for any favor because they would have received the $ in their account immediately via Google wallet or venmo. I have the money and would have sent it to them via venmo or Google wallet for whatever was given to me. I am appalled at this treatment by a service industry. Their unwillingness to help and allow a young woman alone to spend the night on the turnpike speaks to Sunuco's employees lack of customer service and disregard for human life.
quality of service - poor
On 5/16/18 at 9:50am, I pulled in to Sunoco for a tankful of gas at 9330 Lakeside Blvd, Owings Mills, MD 21117. I began to pump gas from pump # 1 and realized I was unable to use the pump lock for continuous flow since it was broken. So I therefore stood there holding the gas pump lever, when it kept shutting off automatically. It did this several times before getting frustrated, so I stopped pumping gas at $11.94, thinking I would simply get my receipt & pull in to another pump. When I chose the button for a receipt, it was out of paper which happens very frequently. I went inside for my receipt & informed the worker that pump # 1 wasn't working. I didn't receive a thank you & he seemed extremely disinterested. He gave me my receipt, then I drove around to another pump to continue filling my tank. While pumping gas, I walked over to get the item to wash my windows, yet there was no water, no paper towels & the plastic container holding it in was very much broken, which is also not the first time this happened. I finished pumping gas & when the auto attendant asked if I wanted a receipt, the button for pressing 'yes' was broken & damaged (see attached photo). I tried pressing all over the 'yes' button with no success. I pulled away & swore never to use this station, as it is THE worst gas station for any type of service.

I went to the Sunoco on Front St. and Oregon Ave.in Philadelphia this morning. I prepaid for my gas on my debit card. When I began to pump, gas started shooting out of the line. I immediately stopped the pump and went inside to let the attendant know. I asked him to assist me, in which he said ok but told me to wait until he was finished ringing up other customers. I went back to the pump to wait. A few minutes later I returned inside to ask when the attendant would help me. He told me I needed to pay again because I stopped the pump. When I explained (again) why he said I still needed to pay. I had my receipt in which I was charged the $20.00 in prepaid gas. He said that I was only charged for the gas I pumped (the gas that spilled onto the floor and not into my car). I asked what he meant because I had already been charged and no gas even went into my car. He said I was only charged the $1.21 I used. Again I explained that I did not receive any gas because it was spilled onto the ground outside. He continued to cop an attitude and tell me I was "yelling" at him. Naturally I was annoyed because I needed gas for my car and I would be late to work. He left me outside after he told me that he would assist me! He told me to go to another pump and pay him again! Needless to say I left with both receipts and will never be returning to that station again. The attendant was rude and obviously did not want to help me. I also tried to call the 1800 number for Sunoco and left a voicemail at 8 am in which they are supposed to be open but conveniently there was no one to answer my call. I am requesting a refund for the $1.21 I was charged for gas that is laying on the ground at the station instead of in my car.
gas station - huntsville, tx
I asked the gas station attendant ( Jaime ) to place $15 on pump, she states that it has declined my card and we proceed to swipe it again twice more at this point I ask her to stop and I check my card it states that the first charge she did was authorized and the money was removed from my account . This would explain the last two charges being declined, I showed Jamie my account and she began to argue with me, got in my face, was loud with me and very hostile . I asked for the manager, when the manager came The gas attendant ( jaime) lies and told the manger that i went a lifted the pump to clear it yet the pump still had $40 on the screen from the previous person . The manager argued with me siding with her employee and was in my face and just as hostile, I then asked Corporates number and first she told me there was not any number, then i questioned her on why it wouldn't be one and she then proceed to go grab the number and give it to me .
coffee and customer service
I have been in the Sunoco on St James Blvd in Goose Creek SC numerous of times and everytime I go in there to get coffee it is never fresh. None of them. All the red lights are always blinking. The condiments are never stocked and the coffee area is always dirty. It doesn't help when 3 employees are hanging out at the register helping no one. I never get help when I'm in there. They always seem like I'm bothering them to do their job. So again I wanted fresh coffee but none available. I was gonna purchase gas to but I took my buisness elsewhere and will continue to shop elsewhere until that situation can be taken care of. Not even a hello when you walk in the door or how you doing. Very unfriendly feeling in that store!
monster energy drinks advertising complaint
Hi my name is Chad Everett. I recently purchased extra strength monsters from A sunoco store in sandusky Ohio 44870 on Perkins Avenue. Underneath the cans it says 5.50$ for 3 of these. I brought it to you're cashiers attention. And a little white girl was very rude to me I didn't catch her name. This happened April 17th 2017 at 4:10pm. I believe its false advertising in many cases the advertisement is under the product. In this case it was advertised at $5.50 for 3. The complaint isn't about the price and how you're company doesn't honor the advertising. This complaint is about the young lady was rude to me and cared more about flirting with another customer while being very rude to me iver the price in which you advertised. Sounds like sunoco should consider make the advertisement correct if not then you're company should honor the price under the can. Also a lecture in edict to you're PAYING customers!
policy of store
I have been frequenting Sunoco near me in Manlius, NY since 2002 when I moved here. It has been a favored place for me to walk to for excercise, purchase a coffee and then walk home,
In the last eight months or so, the new staff have been very unfavorable. I purchased a coffee and remained in the store for a little while as I was on the phone. I stopped by Sunoco to get something warm to drink since it was frigid out. I could have easily went to Burger King or Dunkin Donuts which were just across the street, though have been a loyal customer.
I was appalled when the staff members on duty told me I needed to leave as I was loitering and she did not want to call the police. I asked what I was doing to annoy them. They responded that it was illegal to stay in the store after buying a coffee.
Up to this year, I had become friendly with all the staff and even brought in baked goods to brighten their day.
I would greatly appreciate that you implement a change in this particular stores customer service.
I will now go to the gas station which is closer to me to both buy my coffee and gas.
Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.
I had a very similar experience tonight. I bought a coffee and told them I did not need a lid as I was going to drink it now, which I did. I was then asked to leave by another employee saying I had been there 10 minutes and was loitering. I was almost finished with the coffee. They replied it was policy. Ive been going to that station since 2010.
price
I grabbed a 79cent soda cup and went to get an icee and then changed my mind and filled it up with Coca Cola and got charged for an icee. I was in a hurry due to a family emergency and did not notice until I checked the receipt later. Yes there may have been a very small amount of icee in the cup but it didn't even cover the bottom of the cup. And again I was in a hurry due to a family emergency so I did not have time to throw that cup away and get another one.
It's 2650 A1A in Daytona beach.
Attendant was rude and customer service was no help. I’m done with sunoco.
gas station deceit
On 4/05/18 I pulled into the gas station at 539 Forest Ave., Paramus NJ. The attendant was provided my debit card to fill the tank regular unleaded. When the fill up was completed the attendant said the credit card on the pump was not working so he had to take the card into the office and run it manually. The total on the pump was at exactly $35.00 When the attendant gave me the receipt, he charged my card $39.18 which was definitely not the correct amount. Although it appears to only a difference of $4.18 the attendant definitely took advantage and is probably doing this to other customers. I would like Sunoco to look into this matter immediately. Thank you.
