First off I want to say that I love Red Robin, I go all the time. But after the experience I had here at this restaurant in Carmel, IN I will not go anymore. I arrived at Red Robin at 6:30 pm on June 2, 2014. Ordered my food at approximately 6:40 pm. We sat there and watched food be brought out to people who had came in after us, I am talking whole families and it was only two of us. I ordered a burger and my friend ordered dessert. The server comes to the table and says I am sorry we are short staffed in the kitchen your food should be out in 2 mins. That turned into 35mins, I looked at my clock and the time now was 7:45 pm and we still had not got our food. So we got up and started to leave the restaurant, then all of a sudden the manager runs up to us saying "here is your food, I am so sorry we had lost your ticket, would you like me to pack it to go". At first I replied no because I was very upset with the way we had been treated. Then I said ok go ahead and pack it up for us, then I thought about it, this was the worst customer service i ahd experienced in a long time so we left. It should ahve not took for you to see us leaving to bring our food out, then i thought about it like what if i would not have got up to leave how much longer would you have taken. I am really upset about this experience that i had, i will make sure i tell everyone i know especially my family. We go at least 3-5 times a month because we love the food and usually the service
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
