On my way to work.
I'm the only car in line.
Ordered a large Strawberry Banana Smoothie
Girl asked me to pull to the front and she would bring it to me.
As I was waiting, two cars passed me as they left the drive thru.
Finally looked inside (no customers were inside) and saw my smoothie sitting on the counter.
Got out of my car and went and got it myself (as the girl was taking an order)
SUPER bad service.

Onion rings
We placed an order for Combo #2 with a substitution of fries for onion rings. We left location and immediately got on Interstate heading home to Santa Teresa NM. When we opened bag to start eating onion rings we only had FIVE onion rings. Unbelievable ! We also commented between us that the prices seemed to be higher than El Paso.

This Whataburger is breaking the law by working there employees 10 to 12 hours without taking breaks. My son came into work at 9am and is still at work at 9:30pm and has not left his area. Either they start breaking there employees of they are looking for a lawsuit.
your son can call the labor board, let them handle it.
i did not get my order right an toke 30 min. it they have were having a party costumer did not matter ido not want any free F O O D
Flies and lost food order
I recently passed through Hutchins, TX and stopped at my favorite burger place - Whataburger. Others riding with me did not receive their order because the register could not produce a receipt. They left without eating but they did receive a refund. On top of that, the whole place had flies swarming all over the place. That is so unsanitary.
Worst experience ever
I have enjoyed eating at Whataburger for years and have never had an experience like I did last night. We had an unpleasant and unsanitary experience in Sherman, Tx 1/31/2011 at around 6pm. After ordering we sat and waited for our to-go order, listening and watching as the manager and another employee socialized in the prep area while burgers sat on the countertop, wrapped and growing cold. Then, other employees came in and the manager handed them paychecks or tax forms and complained about the people working with her that night, loud enough for several customers to hear, and mentioned the 15 minute average wait time (we'd been waiting 18 minutes at this point). The manager finally finished chatting and handling papers, turned around and scooped some fries and prepared - surprise!- our bags with burgers that had been sitting and waiting for several minutes with her unwashed hands. At that point, for the first time in my life, I demanded a refund on my order. We also warned the patrons who were walking in of the lengthy wait and that the manager herself doesn't even wash her hands. This is a public health concern and the worst management and customer service I've ever witnessed. I hope the owner of this store hears of what is happening there and makes some drastic changes.
I too always eat at Whataburger to day 12:45pm order #904918 had the worst meal of the day, I notice 4 wrong order given, then cam to my order the fries were cold the buns tasted like they just came out of the refrigerator stone cold. When I got home I noticed that I was missing three orders of fries and two of the teas tasted really flat. They made a mistake on my burger putting some cheese when i specifically said no cheese. When I called her she was being really rude. She also said that I forgot them. I forgot them yet she says thankyou which means she has finished giving me my food...

Went in one night and ordered five combination meals and I was going to buy everybody dinner.
After filling out my card slip, I was notified that because my total was over $30.00 I would have to supply my social security number, or drivers license number in order to get my food. Last time I checked Whataburger deals in cheeseburgers, not home mortgages.
I refused giving such information to a totally unsafe employee and decided to cancel my transaction. The employees became aggressive and would not return my card until I gave them the signed receipt. I eventually had to give them a torn receipt in exchange for my debit card back and the promise of a refund.
As of now, I have no refund, no Whataburger in my belly, and a fraudulent charge pending.
Just a heads up to those who might find one day that a combo meal may cost them a lot more than the price on the menu.

Yeah, i worked at whataburger in tx and theyve NEVER asked for ID or SSC. Call the local authorities, because they're trying tl scam you
Well I have just been hit for $800+ in charges made in London, UK and informed that it was the result of using my card at a local Whataburger. There apparently is an ongoing investigation, as I am not the only victim of this type of fraud.
You need to get the authorities involved in that one. Now.
Items constantly missing
3 times straight, I ordered a couple of apple pies, 3 times none in the bag. LOL. Seriously though. What can you expect, they (employees) either look DD (developmentally delayed), or like they barely passed the GED test. But hey, they are some great burgers and I probably don't need the extra calories anyway, but it's not right to rip me off because of incompetent workers.

Tonight I experienced the worst service I can remember, and I am 51 years old. I walked into the Whataburger in The Colony, Texas and it is probably for the last time. I ordered a #2 Whatameal with mustard and pickles only, and a chicken strip for my nephew. Twenty seven minutes walked by as I sat in the bench by the counter, and in that time I watched 4 people enter the restaurant, walk to the counter to place an order, and eventually leave without even being greeted. Two of them were wearing hospital scrubs.
When I finally decided I had waited long enough, I stood up and walked over to the counter to ask for a refund. A African-American female with a long first name that began with a C popped off at me. She had just dumped my chicken strip in the trash, apparently upon returning from the dining area where she was looking for order #10. That was me and it was a to go order. If Whataburger has waste issues, it is because of people like her.
She was rude, abrasive, and along with a manager named Phillip...are the reason my 38 year relationship with Whataburger is over. I hope nobody else receives the treatment that I did.
I paid with my debit card and the money was taken out of my account immediately. That is the same as cash. They refused to give me cash in return, so Whataburger is essentially sitting on $10.31 of my money after completely butchering my order, making me wait 27 minutes just to find out that an incompetent manager decided to toss my order in the trash when she couldn't find me in the dining room. Heaven forbid that she have the capacity to call out "number 10!" when she couldn't find the right person.
Whataburger got my $10.31. I hope it was worth it I have averaged eating at Whataburgers 2-4 times a week since 1978. I like the Burger King Satisfries any way. I'm sure they will treat me with far more respect than The Colony Whataburger did.

Hello RNStanger, nice to see that the general population has declined so much that instead of checking the bag, you assume everyone is as perfect as you. I am so sure that they werent at all busy, or had just been busy and just not gotten back on their feet from it. I work at whataburger, have been there over a year, and i love it. The people there are SMART, NICE, and ALWAYS doing a better job than the other places we compete with. My wife has worked there far longer than i have, she has her associates and is going after her bachelors right now. The pay is good, the atmosphere is awesome and we all have a family bond. Now, here is my question to you. How do you think it feels to have to drop fries RIGHT WHEN ORDERED, and make the burger RIGHT WHEN ORDERED, not to mention that your DRINK and SIDE items are FRESH and served within the Whataburger standard guidelines which FAR surpass the guidelines of the F.D.A. guidelines on hold times for cooked or fried foods. We have quality food, quality service and yes, the human factor seeps in with forgetfulness or just the common daily routine of forgetting something as small as a pie. BUT there is a positive side too. CALL THE STORE! The number is right on one of two or 3 receipts we hand out. Let the manager know that an item was forgotten in your bag, and it WILL be replaced with proof you bought it (e.g. Keeping the receipt) and on your next visit, go on in and let them know, or let them know at the box. YES! Finally, satistfaction. But wait! There is more. Use a calm and collect voice, we have enough stress to deal with without you calling and YELLING or using your outside voice. So go on. Get out of your seat, jump onto your high horse, ride away from your "Ivory Tower (BTW... CUTE ONE GINGER KID) and get you some apple pie goodness and head back to your tower for more re-runs of American Idol and Dancing With The Stars
If your expecations are so low because of some ignorant preconceived notion of fast food workers, then why are you here complaining? You should go to Whataburger expecting something to be screwed up and verify that your order is correct before you head off to your ivory tower.
Toodles! :-)

I am an emplyee of Whataburger in Fultondale Alabama, I have been working there for about 3 months now and fixing to quit there, because of how I was Treated there.
On Thursday Jan 29, 2009, I was working the Grill and had enough meat to cover the orders that were on ther order borad, well one of the employees, gose by the name Ke-Ke, she got right in front of me and started to put down more meat than what was on the borad.
I told her that it wasn't necessary to put down that much meat(7 pieces of meat), she caused me to fall behind and I had to play catch-up to get all of the orders out in time, the Team Leader Megan stood there laughing as Ke-Ke and her friend Maria yelling and cusing at me because of their window time was seven mins.
Then after everything was over and the argument was dying down, Megan sstarted it up all over again, that's when Ke-Ke made a remark that I was Racist.
Well the next day all three of them complined to Richard(the Gm of Unit 920) about me, Richard never calle me to hear my side of what happend, I was given the impression that he believe their side rather than mine.
Since that happend and Megan, Maria and Ke-Ke are still employed no other action had not been taken by Richard to resolve the situation, he knows that he has an on going problem with those three people and still nothing has been done, I have been targeted and harrassed by three employees, one of them is a Team Leader and that has been going on since i've been employed there and nothing been done to correct the situtation.
Richard has not gave me any reassurance that those employees would loose there jobs what so ever, I really doubt Richard's ablity as a General Manager of that store, any comflict that arises, he dose nothing to resolve it(no write-ups)(no termination of problem employees).
So anyone who reads this, and is from Alabama, don't go to the Whataburger in fultondale, it has a bad General Manager that can't do anything, except taking up space.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I worked at Whataburger in Fultondale, Alabama. I am a high school student and worked almost 30 hours a week. I do agree with Bloodright73, working there was a nightmare. I worked there for almost 9 months, Richard the general manager was nothing on the level of professional. He harassed the workers gave inappropriate hours to students in school, which got in the way of our high school careers. I did choose to work and go to school, but i did not sign up for working 20 hours in two days on a weekend i had to study for exams. Everyone at Whataburger got paid differently we would all just be starting out making 6.75 an hour and ofcourse after so long would expect at least a penny raise. But some people who had just started out working there made more then what we had started making. The employees would make rude comments and harass us behind our backs and the GM would join in with them. I should have done something while i was still working there, but was to much of a coward. I hope someone does do something about that resturant because its nothing but a slave shop.
I agree with LisaC dude... If I woke up tomorrow in your shoes, I would look at furthering my education for 2 reasons 1) financial security and 2) better work environments. While you are young, you still have a chance and you need to seize the moment before it is too late.
You are either rebellious or caught in a vicious cycle of ignorance… When I say rebellious, I am referring to you not heeding to other people’s (family & friends) advice and wisdom to make something of yourself. This vicious cycle of ignorance that I am referring to pertains to the possibility that people are giving you the wrong advice and you are buying into it. For instance, my family always told me to work and did not endorse education. The advice that I was receiving made me think the thing to do was go out and get the best job I could get, which would be general labor. So, being a high-school dropout with a 10th grade education gave me little confidence that I could ever get into college or make any progression in my life period. Let me just tell you… I came to the conclusion one day, after working many crappy jobs, that I had to do something. So, I went to the local community college and earned a GED and then decided to start taking classes at the community college towards a degree. It wasn’t too long before I earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and ended up getting a master’s in mechanical engineering as well. Today I am doing very well and when I see people like “ke-ke, ” (unsure about the spelling) I just smile knowing that element is not a part of my life; don’t make it a part of yours…
eh, maybe you should think of furthering your education. Learn to spell. Maybe then you won't have to work a crappy fast food job such as whataburger in the 1st place.
Wrong order again x meny!

If you're restricted from eating certain foods, I'd advise you to stop eating at fastfood places.
I hope that English isn't your primary language.
Horrible food
