AAA Insurance reviews and complaints
Filed a auto claim against an a aaa insured driver
On September 9th my car was hit by a driver insured with AAA . Today 10/13/22 I spoke to claims adjuster about the status of my claim . I was told that AAA has not been able to contact
their insured driver to discuss incident . Apparently if they cannot contact driver my claim may be denied . I provided AAA with photos of Drivers insurance card , written statement from a witness . Pictures of damage to my vehicle and contact information from my insurance company. The only response I get is they are still investigating.
Country of complaint: United States
Desired outcome: Pay for damages to my car.
Auto and home
AAA said they could save me money on insurance, do I thought I'd give them a try. They were able to save a little on the auto, but would not quote me on the home because they said it had to be removed but talked me into going ahead with the auto while we waited. About a month later, I received a bill for over $2k. I told them I didn't want it because it was over $1k more than I was paying now. They said they were going to raise my auto insurance over $100 a month because I was not taking the home owners. I instructed them to cancel the Auto insurance immediately, and signed on with another company that day. They never returned a refund for the cancellation and continued to bill me for the insurance. When I called to complain, the rep on the phone got smart with me and said "Is my name on that bill?" Then he wanted to know who I switched to. I told Mr. Smart Guy that it was none of his business. He said if I didn't continue to pay for the insurance he was going to screw with my credit. I have contacted an attorney who is more than willing to take on the case. I don't like to sue because it only adds to the stress, but it looks like I have no choice.
Country of complaint: United States
Desired outcome: Stop billing me and take this error off my credit. If I sue, it's really going to cast you.
Bad faith
I started to purchase AAA insurance on my house and car. They started with the car and then the house. The Car insurance jumped slightly during the process and the house insurance jumped through the roof from the quote done the day before. I had given them all required data the day before so nothing new was entered. I cancelled the deal but they still...

While sigining up for AAA Auto insurance, I was not told of any cancellation policy and penalties. Later due to an 30% increase in premium owing to my residential move within 8 miles, I canceled the policy. The refund of premium did not include a statement, but only a refund cheque. On demanding an explanative statement, I was told it is not in their code of conduct to issue an explanation.
Neither at the time of enrollment nor after did they tell me of any such cancellation policy. An increase in premium as high as 30% for a move of 8 miles in Los Angeles, though I take the same streets to commute, same places I buy groceries from, does not mean they are doing a fair business. Not sending a detailed explanation of final tally and withholding the cancellation policy initially suggests they are fraudulent in their means of business.

I had a car accedent with someone who is insured by AAA. The person I had the accedent with and the witnesses concurred that I was at no fault and AAA should cover the damages. my car was severly damaged but it was drivablduring day time only beccause the light is out. I did not claim any injuries. and made my report with my insurance which clearly noted that the ather part is at 100% fault. AAA adjuster too a week to call me and left me a message, I was never able to get in touch with her so when I talked to some one covering for her she said they have my statement and they are waiting to get in touch with the witness. another week went by with no action, I called again and the designated adjusted never answerd the phone her co-worker said the same thing and we arranged for someone from AAA to come and take a look at the damage on my car which he did. Two weeks pass by no news, so I call and finally I get in touch with the adjuster, she asked me all the question I answered to the other Two co-worker and she said that she still need to get in touch with the witness and that she did not determine whose fault it is.
