While sigining up for AAA Auto insurance, I was not told of any cancellation policy and penalties. Later due to an 30% increase in premium owing to my residential move within 8 miles, I canceled the policy. The refund of premium did not include a statement, but only a refund cheque. On demanding an explanative statement, I was told it is not in their code of conduct to issue an explanation.
Neither at the time of enrollment nor after did they tell me of any such cancellation policy. An increase in premium as high as 30% for a move of 8 miles in Los Angeles, though I take the same streets to commute, same places I buy groceries from, does not mean they are doing a fair business. Not sending a detailed explanation of final tally and withholding the cancellation policy initially suggests they are fraudulent in their means of business.

I had a car accedent with someone who is insured by AAA. The person I had the accedent with and the witnesses concurred that I was at no fault and AAA should cover the damages. my car was severly damaged but it was drivablduring day time only beccause the light is out. I did not claim any injuries. and made my report with my insurance which clearly noted that the ather part is at 100% fault. AAA adjuster too a week to call me and left me a message, I was never able to get in touch with her so when I talked to some one covering for her she said they have my statement and they are waiting to get in touch with the witness. another week went by with no action, I called again and the designated adjusted never answerd the phone her co-worker said the same thing and we arranged for someone from AAA to come and take a look at the damage on my car which he did. Two weeks pass by no news, so I call and finally I get in touch with the adjuster, she asked me all the question I answered to the other Two co-worker and she said that she still need to get in touch with the witness and that she did not determine whose fault it is.
