Tinney Flats, UT. Site reserved through US Forest Service. Arrived about noon on May27, parked car and checked in with the camp hosts. They said no need to check in and they would be by our site later, which they did. Really no discussion, they appeared to just be checking who we were and that we had a reservation. As it was Memorial day weekend, the camp was full.
Making dinner at 7P, no water from any of the water spigots. I walked down and checked with the hosts. Oh! Didn't anyone tell me that they had a broken pipe and that they had to turn the water off at night? It was broad daylight. I asked when it would be on in the morning...they estimated about 9A. They offered to give us a gallon of water, not enough to cook and clean dishes or ourselves.
Next morning we waited and waited for the water to come on. Finally at 11A, I walked down to the host trailer and knocked on the door. Evidently I woke the hosts up who said they would have the water turned on in about 10 mins. Now there were a number of trailers/RV, so those folk probably had water tanks, but there were an equal number of folks tent camping. I seriously don't think having no potable water for 16 hrs, no sign or word to alert folks to this is OK, never mind "hosts" who think it's OK to sleep in till 11A while the rest of the camp waited for them to leisurely get around to turning the water back on! I'll be calling the Forest Service tomorrow.
Great article. Thanks for sharing it. I was searching information about Ejuice | Cheap E Liquid.
