Apple iPad consumer scam
When I called Apple support my iPad needed a new battery. They took my credit card said it would cost $200. I sent it in a box Apple provided. A few days later I get an email from them with 3 stamp sized blurry pictures showing what they called a "ding" on one of the corners. I couldn't see anything but maybe a pin head size area they circled on one of the corners. The email says we won't replace the battery unless you pay an additional $299 for a new frame! I called and after an hour on the phone they tell me Apple standards require the item be in brand new perfect shape when we return it with a new battery! It's a total scam they get you to send it in for a new battery then upsell you on fixing a ding or they won't fix the battery! Why would anyone pay $500 for a new battery. They didn't learn from the battery class action and are up to more scams now! Someone needs to file a new class action!
Desired outcome: Apple to stop scamming consumers and allow home repairs
iPhone
My Phone has lost contacts and messages
I believe the phone was hacked and some one has been removing phone numbers and adding phone numbers to my account
It seems that phone will update it self and the setting will all be changed. Numbers will be add and call history and text history will be gone, Also my voice mail will not have messages that I have saved
Please contact me at [protected]
Desired outcome: Phone to work and stop updating it self
Apps
I purchased a new iPhone about 45 days ago. When the tech/sales person moved the information & apps from my old phone to my new one, he noticed that my Apple account was linked to a previous phone number. He said I would need to contact apple to update the phone number. I had no idea that trying to change the number on my account would be an impossible task. I went through their account update process and received an email that I would be contacted in 30 days with information on how to update my number (I thought having to wait 30 days was ridiculous, but I went along with it). After 30 days I didn't receive anything from Apple on how to update my account. I called again and was told all they could do for me is had me go through the same process again and hope it worked. I did it again, but this time I didn't even receive an email from apple within 24 hours to let me know when the update would be done, nothing, just left in the dark with a phone that I couldn't use. Horrible policy and Service! So, now I'll have to take my iPhone back to where I bought it and see what they can do. I've had it with Apple products and service... Absolute horrible.
Desired outcome: Update the phone number on my apple account
Security
I want my phone open and ready for anyone to use that picks it up. Why is none of your business. I am the customer. Why cant I do this?
Desired outcome: Phone with no security or 2 factor authorization
I can't access my account after responding to THEIR ONLINE SCREEN PROMPTS
After following Apple's screen prompts to reset my apple icloud account ID, they locked me out. I was in Apple Twilight Zone hell, cycling endlessly, trying to reset my password: it would take me to a new screen and ask for my password. WHICH I WAS TRYING TO RESET!
SO THEY BLOCKED MY ACCESS TO MY ACCOUNT FOR 24 HOURS. The next day I was confronted with the same problem: a "senior" tech representative accused me of trying to break in to their system! I started crying, so she hung up on me. Her name is LORETTA.
AND now I'm on a 7 day lock out. From my own account. Because they have confusing policies to reset passwords.
Desired outcome: To have my account unlocked
Series e apple watch
On February 11th I drove 120 miles roundtrip to an Apple store to buy an apple watch. The temperature was a -8 with a -18 wind chill. The store was well staffed with many extra technicians and sales people. I expect good service from Apple. I was highly disappointed. The salesperson tried to show me the watches online. I could have done that at home. After some talking I was finally shown the different watches. The same thing happened with the watch bands. I was not able to try on the watch with the band. I was not given an outline of the costs for the different series. Numbers were thrown out not explained that the watch bands were not included and no real comparison between the series. I picked a watch band that has the magnetic clasp and was told that it doesn't loosen or move. I could not try it on. Upon leaving I was handed two boxes. There were plenty of sales people still standing around. I get better service when I walk into a Title 9 store. I leave understanding their new products and materials regardless if I purchase a $59 shirt or not. When I got home I did find that my watch band is too big for my small wrist and it does loosen up especially if I am exercising. I am completely disappointed with the service from Apple. Every question while I was there in person was to go home and start with an online chat. If needed I can drive another 120 mile roundtrip to come back for answers. I also never received an emailed receipt. It has taken me several weeks to write this because I am still so upset that I spent close to $400 and had such a terrible experience. If I didn't have the other Apple products I would be returning this watch.
iPhone 11 Pro
Phone broke on vacation. They said they would overnight new phone. 7 days later phone still not arrived but my credit card was charged 1150.00. Called fedex. They don't know where phone is. Call Apple. They don't know where phone was. 5 hours later on phone... they say is would be delivered 7-9 days. I said I'm on vacation and not going to be here. They say ok. We will can probably get phone to your house in about 15 days. Ummmmm really 3 weeks without a phone? The service sucks. I paid for Apple care. Completely unacceptable. I really wish I could switch all phones over to something else.
Desired outcome: Ummm that I had the phone like promised.
Bad and rude store manager
I scheduled iPhone battery replacement service at 4:40PM on 2/16 on Bolingbrook IL. The guy works in the store checked my iPhone and did not say any other issues regarding my iPhone except battery damage. I came back to the store around 6:30PM on 2/16 to pick up my phone and was told my iPhone charge damaged, they changed back my original phone battery and refunded the service fee ($49.00 plus tax), nothing can to with my charge. I refused to accept it and finally the store manager said they will contact APPLE. I did not get any feedback on 2/17. I went to the store around 11:30 AM on 2/18 and was told they will contact me later. I missed two phone calls from best buy around lunch time, no one took the phone when I called back. I went to best buy store around 11:30 PM on 2/19. The store manager told me they refunded $49.00 and my phone. He was told me to upgrade my phone. They cannot do anything. I refused to sign since the phone cannot use anymore and they damaged my phone after I left my phone in the store. I tried to communicate with high level. The store manager was very rude and told me he is the upper lever, he left my phone and paper on the table, then left. It is so bad experience in Best buy.
Before I got into the store, my phone charge works.
The service order # is 00813-[protected]. I want to file a complaint for it. Thanks

Apple MacBook Air, A1466, EMC2925
I spilled a few tablespoons of water on my keyboard. The screen blipped on/off then died. There was no life left. I took my computer to Nanaimo, BC London Drugs official Apple repair to be fixed. The technician replaced the mother board, an expensive, but (I thought) worthwhile expense in order to have my dependable Apple back. Once home, it worked for about 1 hour, then blacked out completely again. I returned it to Nanaimo, and after another 6 days it was returned to me. Apparently the motherboard was faulty. It was replaced. I retrieved my Apple on Wednesday, because I had a lot of work backed up. Unfortunately, it worked for 2 more days and has completely shut down again. What can I do? I prefer my Apple, in order to have my 3 appliances sinced with one another. But I need a computer. Please help!
Desired outcome: A place to have the computer fixed once and for all. I will be in Victoria for a few days, if Nanaimo cannot fix it. I need my computer back to me, and working by Saturday, February 20th (this year, 2021)
Customer service
I will try my hardest not to ever buy another Apple product again for Apple's decision to suppress the constitutional right to freedom of speech for their political opponents. I will never support communist tactics! I will encourage everyone around me to do the same.
I'm ashamed that the world had to find out that such a great American company has stooped to such new lows. What a shame! 🙄
All apple products and services
I have apple products of all types, iPad, iPhones, iMac, etc. at both of my residences. I have never been so upset at a company as I am now with Apple. For your company to censor our President is beyond reproach! I am demanding that you immediately remove this restriction or I will take my business else where and trash your company and products. This is one of the biggest mistakes your company will ever make. I can not believe your company would stoop to such low standards.
It is your move to fix this abomination policy you have created or I am done with apple for good! So disgusting!
Desired outcome: CHANGE YOUR POLICY AND OFFER AN APOLOGY TO THE PRESIDENT AND THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.
No accèss
It seems we don't have access to the Apple corporation in order to tell them of our concerns regarding their actions.
I would like to have an address or email where I can complain to the company about their decision to be a bully and help censor freedom of speech in America with their antics to play politics.
I don't want my technology company to be part of politics and bullying.
Desired outcome: The address and email so I can write to them and give it to others who want to as well.
Print out a letter and see the contact info above and mail it. Or search “Apple Feedback” and go to one of the links and add your comments. Or call one of their sales Tel numbers and tell them why you aren’t buying product from such Pro China idiots.
Parler removal and big tech censorship
I just wanted to let Apple know that I was a dedicated Apple products customer. I will no longer be replacing my phone with the latest model when it is time to to so. Apple's willingness to jump on board with the other big tech companies in an effort to silence conservative voices is outrageous. Shame on you!
Not able to download Parler
I as a consumer should be able to download apps or websites that I have a common understanding with. I would like to download Parler if I so desire.
Desired outcome: Change of Apples ban on Parler
App store
My family has used apple products for years and we love them. 2 macs and 4 iPhones are presently in my home. If, however, Apple continues to insist the only free speech social media app, Parler, becomes another censorship hub like Facebook or Twitter, I will never buy Apple again and look for a class action suit to join or begin if necessary. You have no right to limit my rights.
Desired outcome: Leave Parler alone
Agreed. CEO Tim Cook has turned Apple into a woke joke.
Been using Mac since 1990 and researching moving to to Linux no matter the inconvenience.
Company conduct
I am hearing that Apple is trying to black ball my favorite social site Parlor into make draconian changes to its site in order to meet there leftist agenda or be removed from their platform. If this happens I will be leaving a 20 year history of apple products to move to other pc based products. Just because your leaders have hatred for conservatives I will not tolerate your actions. This is not a empty threat. I will tell everyone I know to leave as well. America is about freedom of speech and this will not be tolerated. Sincerely, Chad Laske
Desired outcome: Do not go political or suffer the consequences
Proposed policy changes
I'm NOT sending this to complain about a product. I love my Apple iPhone. HOWEVER, if you ban the Parler app from iPhone I will pay my phone off and drop you so fast your heads will spin! So will thousands of other people! Parler was NOT used to plan the attack on the US Capitol. That was planned and activated by the Democrat deep state!

Censorship
I am writing you today to express my displeasure ant apples fascist decision to censor parler. This is the most I American decision an American company could undertake. I have bought many apple products over the past 20 years along with my growing family. I'm aware that my complaint or business is not that important to a major company like Apple but I will never buy another product from Apple again. Just remember when there is a market someone will fill it. I am aware that parler has extremists posting content but I am also aware that half of America was on fire through the summer from extremists that apple seems to support. The average person is smart enough to weed through it. Thank you for your time.
Desired outcome: Return to constitutional standards in my country
I just heard about the discussion as to whether Apple should take Parler out of the App Store. This note
Is being written on an Apple IPad, we also own these Apple products: 3) IPads, 3) PowerBook pros, 3) watches, 2) AirPods, and $244, 000. worth of APPL stock. It is not right to punish Parler because they
compete against Twitter. The internet should be an open and available forum for discourse and this
Idea to take them off of the App Store is wrong.
ipad
My 8-year-old grandson changed his password and passcode and can't recall what they are. I used the i-tune in an attempt to restore factory settings so I could start fresh but still can't get pass "activation lock". I called Apple support twice. They were useless. I drove 60 miles (round trip) to the Apple Genius Bar with the IPAD in hand and was told they could not help me without the receipt. I drove to 10 miles (round trip) to Best Buy where I had purchased the IPAD from on-line. Best Buy gave me a printout receipt. I drove back to the Apple Store the same day with the Best Buy printout print out which clearly should that I had purchased the IPAd and Genius bar still refused to help me. I called Apple Support a 3rd time and receive a link with a form to fill out. When I finished the form it said I would be able to reset my password /passcode in 13 days. What a crock! Apple needs to change this process and allow password reset easily just like any other companies.
Desired outcome: Remove the activation lock from my grandson's IPAD so he can use it in school.
