I was seen in the emergrncy room on 9/9/2023 in Waukesha Wi at the pop up hospital on Sunset Ave and St Paul Road. I want to be clear my issue was not with the absolutely AMAZING NURSE I was seen by. She was amazing from the start to finish and deserves to know how great of patient care she provided. It was when I saw the MD Leo Treysmann that my issues began. I had been experiencing a migraine and neck pain for almost a month. My pain changed and I began having visual issues and decided I needed to be seen. This MD was dismissive at best. My blood pressure was through the roof and I had not been able to eat or drink due to the excessive pain I was experiencing. I informed the nurse on intake that I was a recovering addict and would deny anything narcotic, I just wanted to understand the escalating pain in my head and maybe find relief. The doctor was clearly not interested in helping me beyond trying to prescribe me an antinausea I am allergic to. It was on my discharge I saw the medication in my paperwork was from 10 years ago and mentioned opiates I was once prescribed as well as an address I no longer lived at and even sent my medication to a pharmacy 40 miles away. I asked why and stated this information was wrong but was told it was fine. This was not fine. I left in the same amount of pain. My head was CT but not my neck and the clear discharge from my nose was noted as not important. A pregnancy test was run, even after I explained I had no ability to conceive. Over all, I was dismissed and found myself feeling judged and treated like I was lying or exaggerating. I will never visit this hospital again and will not recommend it to patients at my clinic anymore either. The MD is cold. He should not be in medicine if he is unable to be unbiased and do his job.
Desired outcome: None. Whats done is done but this will now be the last hospital I will recommend to any patient in my clinics care or beyond.
