I ordered several magazines from this young man and paid him cash of $149.00 back in June of 2008, and as of today January 5, 2009 I have yet to see my magazines. I have tried calling the phone number and recieve nothing but a busy signal. I believe this company is a scam and I will be fowarding my complaint on to the Attorney General.

The [censor] that you all talk about on here is some freaken crazy [censor], hi im debbie i work for this company i have been for 2 years, this company is one of the best companys that i know of. its inspiring to youg adults, keeps kids out of trouble and have fun traveln around the world maken money and seeing new places. before i joined mag crew i use to be bad on drugs did alot of bad [censor] and always running the roads, my parents wanted to put me in a home cause i was so bad. i joined mag crew and now i been drug free for 2 years doing a whole lot better, i mean every one thinks that people dont get there magazines but you really do it takes 4 months thats 120 days, and it is a contest also at the same time you got to collect points and the most kid who collects 35, 000 points gets 2, 000 dollers and a two week vacation trip. its not a bad company to work for, like that one boy said on here that it is very inspiring to young adults and it has changed alot of young adults ways of life. but you know what people can talk [censor] all the time but we kids on mag crew we love it. so what ever you all got to say so bad and gossip about it, YOUR F***** crazy!

I guess this company has really CLEANED UP IT"S ACT! I was approached by a young girl in an RV park. I bought the subscriptions and asked they be sent to the military as a gift. Afterwards I figured I had been ripped off. But I went to the Atlantic Circulation web site/ contact us page and sent off an email. With my receipt numbers. WITHIN MINUTES I got a return email from Nikki. She said that yes they had received the order but they could no longer send the magazines to soldiers so she would issue a refund right away.
Once I realized that all was legit I made contact with Soldiers Angles and they said they would take the magazines. I emailed Nikki back about three hours after she had emailed me and told her to stand by for a new address for the magazines.
By the time I emailed Niki she had already sent out my check and canceled the whole deal. I should receive the check in about 7 days.
My only complaint is that I have no way of contacting the legitimate young woman and getting her the points she really did earn.

I ordered from a boy and I also didn't receive my magazine either. Very disappointed I was looking forward to the magazine that I wanted. So I will not order from any more kids unless I know them first hand. That's to bad you cant trust anything anymore. The story I was told it was boys against girls to see who could raise the most money and then who ever did got a trip to Germany for a school sport. What crap!

I just had a young boy and girl come to my door with the same song and dance. We live in a region of Florida that is highly populated by military personnel, so they had a better than half chance when they guessed that I was in the Air Force. They asked me what rank was on an insignia she had on her and after I told her, she said that that was the rank her dad was. She told me her and her family lived nearby and that she was selling the magazines to earn points, etc. When we ordered one magazine subscription, they asked if we could pay in cash. We told them that we did not carry cash and they insisted that they'd get more points if we paid in cash. They continued to ask (more like beg) for any cash we had on hand. After we said no for the final time, they accepted our check and left. We had a lot of dead time when my wife and I talked it over in the other room. My aunt was here at the time and noticed that their stories changed drastically as time went on. They then were worried about the guy in the van that was driving them because he would be very angry that they were late. The young man asked for some food and the young girl asked for some wine that we were enjoying even though she said she was underage. Her speech was very erratic and she seemed on edge. There's no doubt in my mind that these young kids were being mistreated. It's sad, but beware of this scam. We cancelled our check the minute they left the house.

I ordered 3 magazines from a couple of young guys who were selling door to door on August 5, 2010. I paid them with a check for $129.00. Today is February 3, 2011 and I still have not received any magazines. I contacted the company on January 3, 2011 and was told there was a problem and they would not be able to deliver any magazines for a couple more months. I was told that I could wait, or get a refund. I asked for a refund and was told that I would have it within 10 days. I still have not seen it. When I spoke with them on February 3, I asked where my refund was...I was told that the manager had just approved it and I would have it within a few days! What a crock. This company is awful and you should not order/buy anything from them.

My saleskid Jed was quite loveable. I felt sorry for him as it was dark and getting quite cold outside and he only had a teeshirt on. He was starting to shiver and said it would be awhile before they came to pick him back up. I was not expecting to get a magazine nor did I want one. I really just wanted to help him out. If I had thought it through better, maybe I would have given him cash and told him to just pocket it instead of writing a check that some [censor] boss will get. I think most of you know when you open your door and there are kids beggin you to buy mag's that it's probably not legit. So either help them out with a small "donation" or maybe even ask if they are hungry. I would have loved to help this kid out a lot more than I did...maybe offer him a jacket to keep... and I feel guilty for that. Kay

I too did not receive magazines in a timely manner. I called to complain and the lady told me I could have another year of magazines for free or I could request a refund. I requested a refund and was told they would issue a check that week. When a month passed and I still did not receive my check, I called again. They said "we must have over looked your request, we will issue this check this week". I then went to http://www.bbb.org/ and filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Magically a refund check appeared the next week.

Please file all complaints with http://www.bbb.org/ I received a FULL refund and an apology from Atlantic Circulations.

I fell for it too, Meanness6. 214.00 check, and now I'm looking into taking this company down. My bank is doing a check reversal-- if you wrote a check, contact your bank.

I ordered a magazine for my 4 year old nephew June 20, 2010. It is now june 7, 2011 and I now live with him and my sister so I know for a fact they did not get any magazines. I called the customer service number multiple times, each time some kind of misconnections happened like the called was lost. I finally talked to a "representative" and she stated there was a problem with the publisher and the magazine could be sent out in a few weeks. Kinda strikes me as odd how it has taken a year already and then they can miraculously pull a magazine out of their @$$ and send it to me right away. If I don't get a refund check within the next month there will be hell to pay, I will never buy magazines again, from anyone. I should've listened to my gut when that fool walked up to my door.

Yes I ordered a magazine almost a year ago and never got it. I called them a million times and finally they told me to send the receipt to them in the mail and i would get my money back. That was about 6 months ago. I didn't see the money or the magazine. Today I tried to call them and their number is disconnected. I should sue.

I ordered a toddler magazine from a nice gentleman for my youngest child. After a month of not receiving anything I called the company, they told me that I had to wait 120 before i could call because it could take that long for me to get my magazine. I ordered the magazine in July of 2010. I called the company after 120 days and they informed me that they sent my magazine in the mail the day before I called. In February of 2011 I called the company and informed them that I was tired of waiting for the magazine and they informed me that the subscription I ordered was out of circulation until August 2011. I asked for a refund and they tried to tell me that I could not cancel over the phone. I told them that I have representative from the judicial system on the other line that would beg the differ. They said they would have the check in the mail by the next business day. I have yet to receive a refund or a magazine. I july 7, 2011 and they said a check would be sent out on that thursday. I called today and they told me there was a misunderstanding and the check was sent out yesterday. I will never do this again. What scam artists.

I too fell for this magazine scam. I was approached by a girl who claimed she was trying to win points for her trip . I have always been careful with door -to-door salesperson, but for some reason I felt sorry for this girl and let my guard down and wrote a check rather than giving cash thinking I can cancel this order if there was ever a problem. Was I wrong. I should have followed my instinct that day and decline to buy any thing. It has been 4 months and no magazines. I called the number listed on the internet and receipt, [protected], and it was disconnected. This prompted me to google their company and all I see are complaints about this company and what a scam...it made me sick to my stomach - the fact that I decided to help someone and got ripped off. I did filed a complaint with BBB and they responded that it was unresolvable due to the company has closed its door and closed my complaints. So sad that I will never buy from another person because I won't trust anyone that comes to my door. KARMA - what goes around comes around - if you feel you need to scam people - then you shall be scammed yourself by someone else.
