ATM REALTY review: ATM Realty Slumlords and Crooks 2

I have been a tenant of one of ATM's buildings for a little over 3 years. In all my yrs of renting, I have never seen such deplorable treatment of tenants by a landlord in my life. I have had a leak in my bedroom for 3 years and counting. I had complained in writing and in person about this leak. Every time it rains, it rains in my bedroom. I have collected gallons of water in buckets some nights if there happened to be a thunderstorm. Management either refuses to acknowledge my complaint or they send their resident handy-man to my apartment to simply "paint-over" the window seal which only serves to temporarily lock out the water for a couple months until the problem starts ll over again. In addition, I have recurrent black mold that forms in my bathroom because there is no proper ventilation. Again, a handy-man is sent after countless complaints to "paint-over" the mold which everyone knows is not the safe or proper way to cure a mold infestation. I recently took them to court because I refused to pay rent if these issues failed to be permanently corrected. My lease renewal has now gone up a total of $100 from a previous $30 a year and I know it is because I "dared" to not only complain but follow through by taking them to court. In addition, my deposit for my parking space has gone from $50 to $200 after the said court case. This is beyond ridiculous and retaliatory in nature which is against the law. The landlord of the building I live in is a vile, disgusting and evil man who intimidates his tenants and punishes them for complaining.
