Kindly assist with matter below.

I have recently been hospitalized and phycians claim has not been paid.

I had removed a dependant from my medical aid last year and had paid an outstanding balance for removal of dependant on November 2022.

Physician claim was to be paid to my personal account as they do not have a payment with the scheme. Bankmed has with held that payment for a claw back for the same dependant I havre paid for when I removed the dependant.

The physician to date has not been paid. I have contacted bankmed numerous times, escalated the matter to the team leader, Chelsea, who has promised to get back to me but never had and every time I call in she's too busy to take my call. To date no feedback had been received from her.

Bankmed made an error by refunding me an amount to my bank account. The phycians claim is from my benefit and not of my own funds, if that Dr had a payment system with bankmed the payment would have been made directly to the Dr.

Please investigate as the Dr awaits payment. Should I receive no response, no resolution, I would like to refer this matter to medical schemes and the ombudsman.
