Do not use this credit union. Their manager at the 128 and holly branch has no clue what she is doing and gave incorrect information when closing on a loan. Their processing are not explained to you and they expect that you know what they are. I set up a direct payment on a home equity loan I took out with bellco and they kept issuing out the wrong kind of credit card to be used on my account (for 3 months I couldn't access my account through bellco except through direct payment or withdrawl). After three months, I felt like they had my money and wouldn't help me to access it. Upon doing so, this disrupted my direct payment to my home equity loan, which I was never informed would occur by bellco. Payments for my home equity loan stopped because bellco failed to tell me the consumer that this was their process. That my direct payments would stop because I withdrew my funds from their institution. You would think that this would be important for them to tell the consumer, but apparently not. Because bellco dinged my credit score a lot, my score went from excellent to a lower good because of their lack of information to me the consumer. They apparently send mail to me during april and may when the payment became an issue, I was getting married in aprl bellco. I was out of town for half the month and yes when we have "life change" such as marriange things do get ignored a bit like mail. Bellco could have left a message on my voice mail more than once after my account was already pays due. Bellco practices are self serving and not geared to serve the consumer. I sent a dispute to them, they sided with me via email then sent me a letter via regular mail telling me they decided against my dispute. Do not use bellco credit union, they do not care about the consumer or informing them of their processes that hurts consumers credit. Shame on you bellco credit union for being so uncaring about the consumer!
