Yep, just like another dis-satisfied customer who sent money to bizbuilder.com... They tell you in fine print, away from the order page, about products being shipped from China to arrive in 120 days The order page gives you the impression that orders are processed in a few business days and shipped by standard UPS ground. After 15 days without the ordered being fulfilled, I inquired and got the same line: didn't you read our policy you agreed to? (No, because you bury the details in a book called a shipping policy.) My fault I guess. I missed the fine print. But I urge anyone who sees this to AVOID bizbuilder.com! I'm out $62.00 on a product I won't need in 4 months. Do yourself a favor, drive to the store.

I don't agree with Thomas. Clearly, he's never taken the time to even read what the terms of service are for this company. I've been a customer now for over 2 years - and have ordered well over 20 times. Each time, I receive the merchandise exactly as advertised.

If you're a new customer - and you don't read the terms, who's fault is that?!

When I read these complaints, I'm amazed at how many "blame game" people there are out there! If you don't like their terms - DON'T ORDER FROM THEM! Personally, I'm very happy with their service - and I'll continue to use them for many years to come.

THEIR PRICES ARE THE LOWEST ANYWHERE ONLINE, ESPECIALLY IF YOU JOIN THEIR CO-OP!

I have been waiting for my juicer for more than 6 weeks and have not received it yet. To add insult to injury, the company will not credit my card. I am contacting federal and state agencies in order to expedite my credit.

Beware people!

Contact your card company right away and dispute the charges, print Biz Builder's deceptive add where it says "in stock" and "ships within two days" and send it to your card company. These people are skunks.

Reading the pro comments, it is very evident it is George Massalas, president of the company writing them. Happen to know him and he is the greatest scammer of all time.

My attempts to contact this company left me with a cold knot in my stomach. The answering message is someone with a foreign accent and if you break through to a different message center you somehow never get a real "live" person or can leave a message. I also ordered the Jack La Lane Juicer and bizbuilder took my Pay Pal money back on October 5th. I used my own tip money saved up for that purpose and have been really looking forward to making changes in my health. Instead, nearly 25 days later I have heartburn over this matter! On top of that I read the other complaints and thought, "Oh great, there goes $100 of hard earned money." I don't think Mr. Jack La Lane is the sort of guy who would be very happy with these people! Don't use BizBuilder, I agree fully with the other comments, something is shady here!

The other complaints I've read are exactly like mine. Ordered the juicer 0n 7/28/07. Over three months later, nothing. Same old reply as others have stated--no refund, no proper response to my requests. The first thing they ever say is that I didn't read the agreement. They have kept changing the length of expected delivery--from 2 weeks to 3 months to 4 months! Now I get no response. I filed a complaint with the BBB (there are 23 unanswered there so far!) and will now file complaints to my credit card and the state.
Don't go there!

Just another customer that order an expensive juicer and then there is no delivery. My card was charged the day I made the online purchase. After too much time went by waiting for delivery, I called but I couldn't get anyone to answer the phone, they return the call after said I wan to put another order. I went to the tracking page and found that it says ''we ship from China so delivery will be at least 4 months. This is completely hidden; moreover on the order page it says 'this item is available for immediate delivery. We ship within 1-2 business days."
Their justify saying" you probably never actually READ what you were agreeing to - and now want to blame us for your failure..."

I want to prevent the people to give the money to this despicable company .

They are the worst company to deal with. I used to run a mail order business and my customers never had to wait 120 days to receive their products. Most products shipped within a week unless they were back ordered. But even then it was within a month. On the order page it says orders ship the next business day. When you write to complain then they direct you to there TOS could take up to 120 days because products could be held up by customs. Then if you threaten to cancel with your credit card company they are going to charge yo $29.95 for processing fees. Total RIP OFFS do not order from them. I am thinking about contacting my attorney generals office and the state of Ca. where they are located. A deceptive company like this needs to be put out of business. They give a bad name to legitimate companies.

Sincerely,
Andrew Matte.

I ordered a blender and accessories and haven't received them yet. They advertised that the product was on hand and would be shipped right out. When I contacted them they said it was shipped from China directly to me and would take at least 104 days for delivery. I stated in my original order that it was a Christmas present and to rush it. The last word I got was they would deliver it before Christmas for an extra $24.95.Something smells.

On sept 21,2007 i ordered a jack lalanne juicer for 99.95 from the bizrate web site. The store was bizbuilder.com. Today is december 29,2007 still no juicer. From what i see, i guess i got ripped off. Also, they claim ships in 2-3 days, but later i learned yeah, from china. And that it could take up to 4 months. Well the way i count it, it's been 4 months. I am going to contact my credit card company and file a complaint. Also, bizrate web site tells me there is nothing they can do. Well, they should check out the people on their website.

Goodness, gracious! I've read all of these complaints about BIZ Builder.Com, and I'm shocked! I've been a loyal customer for over 7 years - have always received my merchandise as advertised, and have never - ever - had any of the problems described by others.

What I think - clearly stated - is that all of these complainers have a common issue of not having actually read the terms and conditions of sale! Obviously, if you don't read the terms of sale, you will be surprised to learn that your order may take 3-4 months to arrive from China, clear through U.S. Customs, and arrive at your doorstep! On the other hand, if you take the time to actually read what's presented [and required for you to be in agreement with prior to placing your order] - none of this will be a surprise!

What's really going on here is a bunch of complainers who never bothered to read BIZ Builder.Com's standard terms of service! Get a life, people - and quit blaming others for your lack of "due-diligence"!

This reminds me of so many other issues facing our nation - with so many wieners complaining about the Government. TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR OWN ACTIONS - AND STOP TRYING TO BLAME OTHERS FOR YOUR FAILURES!

Everyone that has a complaint with BIZBUILDER, File a complaint with the Internet Fraud Complaint Center! It is a government agency that fights internet crime. Go to http://www.ic3.gov/ and file a complaint. If they get enough complaints, they will look into it and hopefully shut down this sham website that steals money and hopefully lock up these thieves!

I'll be happy to give you my 2 cents:

1. Read their terms before you order.
2. Decide if you can accept the terms.
3. Order - or don't order!

Whatever you decide, don't blame this company because you failed to ACTUALLY READ what's presented to you! I can't believe there are so many others like you with the same complaint!

I've been a very "happy customer" for several years - and I couldn't disagree with you more.

This is America. If you order a juicer why in the world should you wait 6 months to receive it. I ordered it in July, disputed the charge with my credit card company 4 months later and the juicer arrive the end of January 2008. Now Biz builder sent my charge to the collection agency. I too called them many time and no one returned my call. Of course in the meantime I purchased a juicer from Amazon.com and received it 2 days later. I have another call into customer service today (Wanda) to find out where I need to return the juicer -- I certainly do not need 2 of them. They also are asking 25% of the cost of a return just to restock -- imagine after making you wait all that time. They have _ _ _ __ !

This company conducts poor business.

I am not surprised to read your complaints on Bizbuilder.com. Let's just say that I know the owner of this company. When the company started, they were doing full color business cards and other promotional materials and have now expanded to offering different products online. Previously, the business operated in a home and they now have their own building. The owner is not an honest or sincere person. He is only concerned in making money. Therefore, I am not surprised that several customers are experiencing this. The money you have paid is probably already sitting in his bank earning interest for him while you are being charged interest by the credit card company. I hope all of you can get together and hire a lawyer to sue the company to teach the owner a lesson. Companies like this should not operate and people like him should not run businesses like this. Please file as many report to BBB so that other people will not be a victim and buy from them. Share your experiences by posting it at [redacted].com. Good luck and hope you all get your money back and the owner gets what he deserves. Let justice prevail!

Like so many others on this site - I stumbled onto this page searching for www.bizbuider.com. I was shocked to read so many complaints about this company - because I've been a "happy customer" now for over a year! Here are my comments:

SERVICE AND SUPPORT: Absolutely superior! As a BIZ Co-Op Member, I have direct access to the Senior Buyers at BIZ Builder.Com, and they are always very, very helpful! I especially love dealing with Frank and Jerry, who have offered me invaluable advice when it comes to "building" my business!

PRICES: Absolutely impossible to beat! That's because, through BIZ Builder's unique "BIZ Co-Op", I'm able to purchase goods at true factory-direct pricing, and completely eliminate the "middle man". In today's dog-eat-dog World, the best way to stay in business, is to make absolutely certain you're getting the "lion's share" of the profits, and BIZ Builder.Com certainly helps me achieve this goal!

A WORD ABOUT SMALL ORDERS: After reading the complaints, it's clear to me that most of these people are first-time, small consumer orders. Certainly, if you don't understand the "process" at BIZ Builder.Com, and you're just ordering a widget because they have the best price - you're going to be disappointed when you discover that it will take 3-5 months just to get one! But, in all fairness - this isn't the fault of BIZ Builder.Com! This is the fault of the consumer who failed to read their terms and conditions PRIOR TO placing their order!

I think to cry "foul play" on a site like this - is just a classic example of people refusing to take responsibility for their own actions.

SUMMARY: I love this company, and I'll continue to order from them in the months and years ahead. Without their "BIZ Co-Op", I would have been out of business a long time ago! Keep up the great work, everyone!

I agree. I'm not sure we'll ever get satisfaction. By the way, the Federal Trade Commission has an online form to fill out. The answer to my complaint was-they don't act on individual complaints, but if they note a pattern of abuse, they can investigate-and by the way they entered the name of Bizbuilder into the federal database where it can be accessed by any government agency-FBI, Justice Dept, IRS. Remember, they didn't get the mafiosi for murder, in most cases those guys went to jail for income tax evasion. Do you think that slick operators think of everything? Read the comments from the lady who applied for a job as a graphic designer there through Monster.com. The context is different, but the attitude is the same. That arrogance guarantees that if any government agency starts an investigation into that company, they'll find something. Do you think really that that guy scrupulously pays all of his taxes? One of the dumb clucks at customer service says that they have 8 warehouses and 18 employees. Who knows if it's true, but isn't it possible that that guy takes the most self-serving position towards salaried versus hourly workers? That there aren't disgruntled ex-employees with grudges? That the corporate office in Santa Clarita, the customer service office in Simi Valley, and the warehouses who knows where and overseas suppliers might make it very difficult to find an agency that has jurisdiction, but not impossible? Follow the money. Santa Clarita charged my credit card. The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Consumer Protection Division has jurisdiction over Santa Clarita. Check out the web site. file a complaint. You have permission to use my name. Keep complaining. This guy will go down.

It's not been 208 days and no juicer. I just called paypal and they said that i can't get my $100 back through them b/c it's past their 45 day dispute period. What they did say is that anyone else who paid through Paypal for their bizbuilder item MUST contact paypal asap! They need to have more than 1 person (me) to file a dispute b/c if I just file one, it will be closed right away. However, if they get many disputes, they will start an investigation. I think it's ridiculous that they only give you 45 days to dispute an item. What if you have no issues until after that period? Bizbuilder knew this and that is why they state that you can't do anything until after 180 days of not getting your product. Please email me if you also used paypal. Maybe we can get our $ back if enough of us file a dispute.

Ordered a juicer 7/07. Was told in very small print that it "could" take 2-3 months to arrive "if" it has to ship from their factory in China. Six months later, they finally tell me they are going to refund my money. It "may" take 2-4 weeks to "process" it. Like that is really hard to do or something. Two months later (total of 8 months from original order). Sent them a couple emails to try to get my money. No response or they tell me that it is still being processed. Finally I lost my cool and cussed them out to the max. They responded by telling me that Profanity is not tolerated and my account was now closed. I emailed back telling them they had no intention of returning my money ever and that they are literally stealing money from people. Never heard from them again.

I've used them for years - and have always been very happy with their customer service and professional services.

Reading these negative complaints makes me wonder how in the World they could actually have done business with the same company that I have. I couldn't disagree more with what some of these people have written.

George is a very kind and honest person - and my gut feeling is that most of these complaints are written by one person who's got a personal vendetta against George and/or BIZ.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I ordered a juicer in August 2007. I have contacted the company on several occasions and have been given the run-around. Lots of legal jargon and reminders of terms that I agreed to. My credit card was charged immediately after my first email of complaint to the company. They have repeatedly given a lame explanation of problems in China and their ridiculous 'policy' of no refund until after 180 days. I was then told that even if the 180 days pass, it would take 4 weeks to get a refund ticket from UPS (and I have to have the product to return it) and/or even receive a call back from their Customer Service department because of their heavy call load. All code for 'sorry lady, you're out of luck'. I am a careful consumer and take precautions to avoid situations like this. Now I feel as if my hands are tied. I am reporting them to the BBB, especially after reading all of the complaints that echo mine EXACTLY. So frustrating!

Purchased a Jack Lalange Juicer in October 2007 from BIZBUILDER.COM web-site and immediately realized that I made an error in judgment. Phoned the company and tried to get my money back to no avail. My fault for not reading the fine print! I gave it the 3 mos. (shipping factory direct from China) and still no product and I'm pretty sure I won't see it either. I've contacted my credit card company to tell them of this out and out fraud (nothing they can do)? This type of blatant stealing hurts all legitimate web-based businesses.

Stuff it "Shandra". I actually read the terms, agreed, purchased an item and got strung along for over six months. Screw bizbuilder.com. It DOES NOT take MONTHS to ship an item from china. I got my money back after reporting their ### to my CC company.

I suggest that if you HAVE been taken by these slimebags, report it right away and get your money back. You will never get your order and if you wait too long the CC company can't help you.
